Twelve articles
But there’s a catch: Anthea can’t know the real names of the men she dates, and she must only refer to them by a Spanish number.
Mister Uno is unsuspecting victim number one. He’s domineering, alluring, wealthy, and a surprise packet Anthea never imagined.
Will Anthea be able to hide her identity from each gentleman suitor?
Will she complete the dare and keep her job?
And will she do it without falling in love?
A hilarious twelve-part short story series by international bestselling author Belle Brooks.

Mr Uno is a great quick read and I can’t wait to see who Anthea has in store for February..
Mister Uno was a fun quick short story that left you wanting more. The first in a short story series following a columnist and a dating experiment. Can’t wait to read about Anthea’s time with Mister Dos!
Love Althea and Mr Uno.Funny short.Ready for Mr Does
Great short read.
Something a little different from Belle Brooks.
Short and quick but intriguing. A fascinating concept that has you wondering what and who will be next. Looking forward to the next one.
Mister Uno was a light and enjoyable read, looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
Mister Uno By Belle Brooks
Girls BFF always have each other’s backs and coming up with THE master plan to save Anthea’s job. Twelve men – Twelve months – No Names – All numbered in Spanish according to the month in the year. What could possibly go wrong?
Mister Uno is witty, funny and thoroughly enjoyable.
I loved that Mister Uno played along and given half a chance would turn into a man whore.
A cracking read by Ms Brooks
With a storyline like this, how could you not love where this series is going? Again, another ridiculously creative book brought to us by Belle! Anthea needs a story and thanks to some tequila and good gal pals she finally found hers and it’s gonna be a wildly, hot ride! If Mister Uno was this good I can’t wait to count to two!
Magazine columnist Anthea Links needs a story asap or else she’s going to be out of a job. Faced with writer’s block and potential unemployment, she goes out with friends. While at the bar, her best friend Pip is struck with inspiration and dares Anthea to follow through with her idea . . . . date 12 different men in 12 months to write a series of 12 articles to show what men are really looking for in the woman they date. There’s just one catch . . . she can’t ask the guys who they are and she needs to keep her identity a secret from them as well.
Will Anthea be able to complete the dare and keep her job all without revealing her identity or falling in love? The dare starts now . . . Bring on mister Uno!
I am completely intrigued by the premise of this series and absolutely loved Mr. Uno! My only complaint was that it was too short and I want the next book now!
Anthea is all kinds of fun and watching her work through this dare as each book progresses is going to be a blast . . . especially since she is supposed to find 12 different types of men to date to get a wide variety of perspectives on what men want.
You ask what type of man Mr. Uno is? Well, giving that away would take away half the fun of reading this book, so snap it up and start reading asap! 4.5 stars!
Mister Uno is a promising beginning to a new series by Belle Brooks. Mister Uno has just the right amount of cocky, Anthea is likeable, and the premise is cute. I look forward to Mister Dos.
Mister Uno takes his rightful place as the diving board into the plunge of the secrets behind dating, romance, interesting suitors, and love in this Catch 22 about modern-day dating. Anthea is the perfect woman for the job of uncovering the dirty details of dating rituals. She’s career hungry and unattached. But can she keep up this article driven dating anonymity for twelve months, with a new interest every month?
Belle Brooks taunts her readers with the perfect number one right out of the stable. It will be interesting to watch Anthea grow this experience, and possible she’ll find love along the way. Great start to a fun modern-day inspired series!
I have to say this is a new kind of series for me. It is a short novella with no romance per se. Mr. Uno is a story about two people meeting and making a connection, but it doesn’t go anywhere.
Anthea needs an idea for a new column, and her friends happen to come up with a year’s worth of an article. Meet 12 different men from 12 different countries and see how it goes. Mr. Uno just happens to be number one.
Even with no romance in it, I enjoyed the ending very much. The connection between the two is hot and the way Belle ends this story is beautiful.
I will be reading the others that go with this series. Belle has my interest peaked.
First I have to say that the concept of this story had me hooked right from the synopsis and I could not wait to get my hands on it and I was not disappointed because it started off with a bang.
Anthea is a columnist for The Rogue Magazine and she has hit a bad case of writers block. So her best friend comes up with an idea that is fool proof but she is not sure if Anthea will go for it but they all know she is never one to back down on a bet so her best friend tells her her idea and Anthea says okay she’ll do it.
The fool proof idea is to date 12 men in 12 months but she can’t know their real name she must address them by a Spanish number starting with Mister Uno. Mister Uno is every girls dream because he is wealthy and gorgeous and the whole package all in one. The thing is can Anthea go on these dates without getting attached to the men. She has to do 12 dates in 12 months can she do it?
I loved this novella but I wanted more from it because I did not want it to end. So go on and one click it and get your read on!
Mister Uno is a quick and light hearted, fast paced story full of humor.
Andrea is a columnist with a magazine who intends to date twelve different men over the course of a year. She’s sassy, spunky and fun.
The banter between the hero and her first hero is fun, and humorous.
I’m quite intrigued by the premise of this series, and looking forward to Mr Duos.

Mister Uno by International bestselling author Belle Brooks is short and sweet and gives you all the good feels.
The latest novella is a short story about Anthea, who is given an ultimatum of either coming up with a brilliant new story for Rogue magazine where she is a columnist or basically losing her job.
A night out with friends eventually leads to the brilliant idea of twelve different men in twelve different towns for the twelve months of the year. The only catch is that she cannot know their real names. Therefore they will be names Mister one to twelve in Spanish.
The short story revolves around the first month and the first Man she ‘dates’ – the infamous Mister Uno who remains a mystery – as he should.
Mister Uno has an unexpected job description and a story that Anthea did not see coming, but things happen and this leads to a great basis for her first story.
This is a short story so, for the most part, the author does not go into depth with Anthea’s character or her history but that leads to a light-hearted and fun story.
This is the first book in a unique and mysteries new series from this talented author. Anthea is a reporter who wants to prove herself, and is assigned to date 12 men, over 12 months, and write 12 articles. Mr Uno is the first candidate. This is a short, humorous and entertaining story, and I recommend this authors’ work for all.
This was a cute quick read. It’s a little different, but still a really good book.
She is tasked with picking up a random guy a month and do a write up to save her job. The CATCH? She can’t know their name, and they can’t know what she is doing.
Will she be able to fulfill her duty to keep her job?
Numero Uno is just the start.
I really enjoyed this book. Even though it was short and fast paced it was something completely different for Belle. The storyline kept me interested and that surprised me since I’m not typically a fan of short stories.
Great job Belle, you’re killing it!
Belle Brooks is shaking things up in her unique and mysterious new series. I was immediately hooked by Mr. Uno and his domineering and sexy ways. He controls a room and situation and he is very smart. Anthea couldn’t fool him just herself. I wanted all the details of his life story so I could never forget too. The way their kiss was described I could feel it through the pages and I even touched my lips.
First of all, I love Belle’s mind and the way she writes her books! She is amazing! I loved the storyline and the characters in this book and can’t wait to read the next book in this series!
