From New York Times bestselling author Kendall Ryan comes a standalone romance about a swoony single dad and the new neighbor he falls for.Last night was the most embarrassing night of my life.I was that girl. You know, the highly intoxicated chick celebrating her thirtieth birthday with her two best friends—who are happily married. And the more I drank, the more I wanted to do something reckless … the more I drank, the more I wanted to do something reckless to celebrate.
By reckless, I mean the sexy and alluring man dressed in a business suit standing near the bar. You know his type—tall, dark, handsome. I was sure he was out of my league, but I’d had just enough alcohol that things like that no longer seemed to matter. I’m not fat, mind you, but you can tell I like french fries, so there’s that.
He took me home, and I enjoyed the hottest birthday sex of my life. Well, until it came to a screeching and rather unwelcome halt.
There’s nothing quite like being interrupted mid-ride with a little voice asking, “What are you doing to my daddy?”
Just kill me now . . . or so I thought.
Come to find out, the man I rode like a bull at the rodeo is my new landlord.

Fun story. Lots of sexy scenes and of course, “Mister Tonight” turns in to more than that!
Loved the whole premise. Enjoyable characters with good development.
Loved this book, couldn’t put it down. I fell in love with the characters and was rooting for the HEA
Little cheesy
muy acorde con el género, los personajes son intrepidos
Audiobook version:
This was a fabulous single dad romance! I loved every second of it. The characters were fantastic, the story steamy and drool worthy. The dynamic between father and daughter was the sweetest thing ever! Loved every piece of it.
Narration was amazing. Andi and Sebastian were a dream to listen to. What a team! Absolutely fantastic performance.

Ok, I am a very picky reader. I want you to make me LOVE the characters but do it in a timely manner before I get bored. So I fit right in the middle where most characters are empty and rushed or I love them but no longer care about their life 628 pages later. Kendall Ryan has me absolutely loving her characters! They feel believable and you adore them! Plus she doesn’t make you wait too long for some good steamy action Suddenly I cannot get enough of this author!!
Cute single dad and commitment phobic single gal romance. Kate gets her drink on for her thirtieth birthday and picks up on Hunter. They go back to his place and in the middle of their romp, Hunter’s four year old daughter walks in and interrupts. Kate freaks out and runs away. The next day, she goes to the address of her new apartment, and the place looks familiar, Hunter is her new landlord. I love the development of their relationship from friends, to friends with benefits, to much more. This book was a fun, easy read.
Good book, left me wanting more! Had to read the whole series.
Adult snuggle time, happy birthday, baby!
Chemistry sizzles between Hunter and Kate when they happen to lock eyes at the bar where Kate is celebrating her birthday. She’s about to make tall, sexy and handsome her own personal birthday present. Things get hot and sexy over at Hunter’s house but get interrupted mid-stream by Hunter’s adorable 4-year-old daughter. Talk about awkward, Kate is out of there faster than a tornado. But it gets pretty funny trying to explain “adult snuggle” time.
The next morning, to Kate’s humiliation and horror, she realizes Hunter’s her new landlord. She’d rented space above his garage. Kate and Hunter awkwardly at first, navigate around their attraction, but soon her heart melts for this sexy, single dad. Will she overcome her fears to commit and surrender to love? Mister Tonight is a wonderful, sexy, sweet romance with a strong, independent heroine and a sexy, sweet single dad who will melt your heart. When Mr. Tonight becomes Mr. Wonderful. Kendall Ryan brings us an entertaining and delightful romance in Mister Tonight.
sweet book
Predictable slow moving dialogue difficult to stay interested. Not up to this writers usual standard.
Why have Mister Tonight when you can have Mister Forever
Mister Tonight is a fun and captivating read. I loved the single dad aspect, it is a welcome and sexy change.
Kate is a 30 year old relationship phobe who doesn’t see the sense in long term relationships or marriage. She has seen enough heartache and divorce so why bother.
Hunter is a single father and his main priority is his beautiful 4 year old daughter Maddie.
A one night stand turns into more than they both bargained for
4.5 Sweet & Steamy Stars!
Sexy Single Dad – Yes Please! This is such a sweet and funny romance. Kate didn’t think anything could be worse than being caught, during sex, by her one night stands little girl. Well she was wrong, it turns out that he is her new landlord. Kate needs a place to live and loves the suburban setting, so she doesn’t want to lose this perfect place to live. She enjoys being single and is not ready to settle down. But Hunter is so sweet, fun, and sexy, and Maddie, with her suspicious eyes, is so adorable, she can’t help but fall for them both. Hunter can’t stop thinking about his new independant, sassy tenant and her sexy curves, but he and Maddie are a package deal. The more time they all spend together, they more they begin to realize, that just maybe, they could be more. This was everything I crave in my romance stories. It has strong and sexy characters, witty dialog, steamy passion, all in a funny, heartwarming story!
Narrators, Andi Arndt, and Sebastian York make this even more sweet and sexy with their perfect performance. Their chemistry as Kate and Hunter is off the charts as they deliver all the awkward, steamy, and heartwarming moments beautifully.
I absolutely loved this funny, sweet and sexy romance!
I enjoyed this book, but I think I am being spoiled by Regency Romances. This was a modern book with some interplay before the characters moved to happily ever after, but it seemed short. And a single father bringing a woman home to his house where his daughter is sleeping should have remembered to lock the door to his bedroom.
Well I love everything by Kendall Ryan and this was no exception. I loved the character of Hunter (the H) as a single dad who is hot and sexually interested. So often the single dad is portrayed as put-upon, not in charge of his life and romance just happens. In this one, we never forget the character of Hunter is very hot and Kate, (the h) is very in touch with her sexuality. Great story with great ending.
Another knockout hit by Kendall Ryan! Imagine the best sex of your life, interrupted by a 4 year old little girl. Now imagine, two days later, finding out that man is your new landlord and his daughter hasn’t forgotten you. Would you turn and run the other way or smile despite the humiliation? That’s where this book could end, but it doesn’t. The electric chemistry is off the charts, but the slow building sweet friendship is what pulls you in. Kendall Ryan does rom-coms like no other author!
When you’re caught having ‘Adult Snuggle-Time’ with your one-night-stand – by his little daughter!
“What are you doing to my daddy?” Try explaining THAT ONE away……!
As if that wasn’t bad enough, oh no, for Kate, it’s about to get worse. She’s paid a deposit on an apartment, sight unseen and guess who is her new landlord! And, Maddie recognises her; “What is she doing here? Did she forget her underpants?”
This is typical of Kendall Ryan’s writing. The embarrassingly tense moments that readers laugh like hell to, grateful it’s not them in those situations, dispersed through well written romances that they are guaranteed to enjoy. And I absolutely loved this hot single father story!
It’s just been Hunter and his daughter Maddie since the beginning, and it’s easy to fall in love with a tall hot man who will sit at tea parties wearing a tiara, with his precious little girl. He also doesn’t get much in the way of opportunities for female company, as most tend to cut and run when they find out that he has a daughter, so he’s all on board for Kate when she’s still keen for that one night of hot sex, even after finding out he has to pay a babysitter!
I didn’t like Kate’s attitude towards sex and relationships at first. Sure she was funny, confident, and knew what she wanted (adult snuggle time!), but just, no. Even so, she won me over, just as she did 4 year old Maddie. So, if you love steamy hot contemporary romances with a solid side of humour, go no further. Mister Tonight, is for you! 4.5 Stars.
Kendall Ryan always manages to deliver a book that has me hooked from beginning to end with her amazing style of humour, passion and so many emotions and she has given us a great one with Mister Tonight.
Single dad romances are super hot and Kendall has given us one hot AF sexy single dad in Hunter. He is looking for more then one night and is totally swoon-worthy and when he meets commitment phone Kate the sparks are flying soon as their eyes meet across a bar despite the fact she is only looking for Mister Tonight. I really enjoyed the way the relationship built up as their connection is undeniable.
This is one griping quick read with some great twists and turns that keep you hooked. Can I also say how cute Hunter’s little munchkin is, complete heart stealer.
Mister Tonight checked all of my single hot dad trope boxes – a great dad, a brave heroine, and a plucky adorable little girl.
In Mister Tonight, Kate is looking for a one night stand to recharge her batteries before moving into a new apartment and starting the next chapter of her life. She finds Hunter at a bar and promptly follows him back to his place for what promises to be a hot night… until his young daughter interrupts their fun times at a very inopportune time. Mortified, Kate bolts without a second look back (I mean, really – who wouldn’t?). The next day when Kate meets her new landlord, she finds out it’s none other than Hunter from the bar. And his daughter, of course. Who remembers her. And not fondly.
I love in stories like this how at least one part of the couple decides it’s best to cool it because of the child involved. And how they think they’ll be successful, when we as readers know that it’s going to be impossible at this point. But, it’s fun watching them try.
In this case, both Hunter and Kate think it’s best to not act any more on their attraction, both because of his daughter and because of their close proximity to one another now. But, like all best laid plans of this nature, those plans are futile, and their struggle ultimately leads to some really explosive encounters.
What I enjoyed most about Mister Tonight was the extremely low angst quotient. If you’re looking for a fun, funny, sexy read with absolutely no drama, then look no farther – you’ve found the holy grail. This was an easy read that satisfied me to the core.
