Max Riley is the man of your dreams. Or at least he will be, for a price. As his alter-ego Mister Romance, Max is a drop-dead gorgeous escort who makes romantic fantasies come to life. No sex, just swoon-worthy dates to die for, and the cream of New York’s socialites can’t get enough. Whether they want a dominating billionaire, bad boy with a heart of gold, hot geek, sexy biker, or best friend … sexy biker, or best friend who loves them from afar, Max can make it all happen, but he’s careful to keep his real identity a secret.
Enter investigative journalist Eden Tate. Having caught wind of the urban legend of Mister Romance, Eden is determined to publish a scathing expose on Max and his ability to swindle lonely society women out of their fortunes.
Desperate to protect his anonymity and his clients, Max challenges Eden to give him three dates. If she doesn’t fall in love with him, she can run her story with his blessing. If she succumbs to his charms, the story dies.
Cynical Eden has no doubt she can resist his fake romance personas, but when the real Max admits he’s falling for her, she has to decide if the professional liar is telling the truth, or if the passionate man with the mysterious past is just one more character designed to con her out of her career-making story.

Review:
This was a cute, quick read. I liked the concept of it. I really liked Max, he was a sweet, romantic guy. He and Eden had some really funny banter, I liked that. They had great chemistry.
I do feel like Max is a little unrealistic because I have never heard a man talk about kissing like he has, but he did have a good point. I really like him. However,I had a bit of a rough time figuring out who he really is as he played so many characters. Like what parts where real, and what parts where just acting. And he admits as much, that he sometimes didn’t know who he really was anymore. Overall he was a pretty amazing guy.
Eden I have mixed feelings over. I liked her banter, I liked that she was strong and I recognize parts of myself in her. I too have never been in a relationship and I rather choose to be alone than get rejected. But there where parts of her that I didn’t like as much. Lots of those things have to do with her job. I don’t like journalist much, especially the kind that is willing to do whatever it takes to get the story no matter who it hurts. And Eden is that kind of journalist. She is stubborn, judgmental and impulsive. But she does know it and that I liked. By the end she does apologize for the things she did, and that’s good. She did some things I’m really not oke with. SPOILER[She gets her friend to hack in peoples emails and tries to hack max’s personal information, after he promises to tell her the truth she decided to break into his home anyway and snoop around, she accuses him of drugging her (which I get to a certain point but she should have waited for her blood results to come back before accusing him) ]END SPOILER
Overall I did enjoy this story. The support characters where really good, the story was well developed as was the world building. I would for sure read another book by this author in the future.

One of my favorite authors, Leisa Rayven! Mister Romance was just that! Any girl’s dream, the perfect man. It was another page-turner. I so wish I could afford Mister Romance, just for an hour… Seriously, you could and should get lost in this book! Loved it!!
This is my first book by Leisa and I’M BLOWN AWAY with her writing! This was so good, and I feel like its a bit different then your average “escort” book. In the first few chapters I had a hunch about the character (which I won’t say bc it will be spoilery) but I STILL wasn’t sure until it came about! Andi did an amazing job narrating and dang her Irish accent was dreamy. I loved this book so hard that I can’t wait to read the others in the series!
I pretty much enjoyed this one overall. The concept of the romance was interesting and quirky but at times not overly real to me. The female lead character was a bit much at times but her curiosity won me over in understanding her. The male lead character had a lot happening but his willingness to make the heroine understand was equally as entertaining as her unwillingness. The secondary characters were interesting and added some relief to the romance. It’s funny at times, contemporary, and Leisa Rayven forces you to want to know what happens to these two who are resistant to falling in love. I wished the ending was a little more solid but the story was heartfelt and entertaining.
This is seriously one of the best books I have read all year. I could not put this book down, even with having a 6am flight the next morning. I got 3hrs of sleep that night and I am not even sorry for it.
Eden and Max had some amazing chemistry, off the charts stuff. This is one of those books where you can just feel it and you are sitting there with this shit grin on your face while you are reading. I was addicted to finding out what happened next between them. Max was probably my favorite part of this book.
The story was refreshing and the flow was on point. I just loved this book more then I expected to and it was a such a nice surprise. I expected to love it don’t get me wrong but I did not expect to be adding this to my top books of the year list. Epic!
