The best enemies make the best lovers…”My favorite rom-com debut ever.” – Wall Street Journal Bestselling Author Lucy ScoreThere are three things I hate: Bratwurst in any form, my neighbors boinking like farm animals at 3 AM, and Chase Jett.Mostly I hate Chase Jett. It’s been ten years since he took my virginity—I’d make a bratwurst joke, but the unfortunate truth is that it would have to be a … the unfortunate truth is that it would have to be a brat-best joke, and yes, it kills me to admit that—and now he’s not only a billionaire, he’s also my new boss.
Turns out our hate is mutual. And this kind of hate is horrifically twisted, filthy, and banging hot.
I just might have to hate him forever.
Mister McHottie is the hilariously sexy romantic comedy that your mother warned you about, complete with an organic happy-ever-after (or seven), a Bratwurst Wagon, ill-advised office pranks, and no cheating or cliffhangers.

Mister McHottie is the first book in the Girl Band Series by Pippa Grant. Chase and Ambrosia have known each other for years, since they were children. Chase was the best friend the Berger twins. They were always playing pranks on one another and on Ambrosia.
Until one day a prank went too far, Ambrosia ends up in jail with a criminal record while she failed to enter her favourite university.
Chase on the other hand managed not to get caught, leaves Ambrosia alone to face the charges and goes on to be a billionaire.
Last time, Chase won. He got my cherry, he got my pride, and he got to see me tossed in the slammer. Now, his billions might stack the odds against me, but this is my home. My City. My job. And this time, victory will be mine.
Present day, Ambrosia is the social media manager for an organic grocery store called Crunchy. She loves her job and is really good at it. She has made amazing girlfriends that she loves and plays in a band with. Then Chase walks into her life once again, he bought the company she works for.
Six feet of pure sin stands wide-legged in the doorway. His smile is a lie, his smoky blue eyes a portal to self-destruction, the dimple in his chin twice the size needed to store what’s left of his conscience.
Ex-friends-now-enemies-to-lovers trope, their fights were hysterical and I lost count of the amount of laugh out loud moments within this book. Chase and Sia/Bro/Ambrosia had of the charts chemistry that had me hooked from the very first chapter. The secondary characters where hilarious and made this book go from good to brilliant. Highly recommend you give this books ago.
i havent laughed this much in a long time!!!!
10/14/2020 In “Mr. McHottie” (nook) our hero (Chase) and heroine (Ambrosia) are separated by years of misunderstanding. When they reunite they are more like enemies except for their amazing chemistry. Their “clashes” go from bad to worse and finally, to good. A comical journey to their HEA.
This book was so good I had no idea what to expect. The hate banter between the two characters were intoxicating I couldn’t put down the book. I love the fact that the main character ambrosia is in a girl band. One of my new favorites.
I loved all of these books!
This is Pippa Grants debut novel and having read five books before I picked up this one, two of them her latest releases, there is a difference. It still has that typical Grant humor, it’s not as polished as I’ve been used to. This one didn’t flow as well as the others and I felt like she was “trying” to be funny. Her later books, she IS just funny. But saying that, I still enjoyed reading all about Sia and Chase, even if his financial status was over stated as well as his crooked appendage. It has also made me more and more curious about her brothers and her bestie Parker. This one will not stop me from reading more from this author.
LOL super funny!
OMG! This is a laugh out loud fun fest, with a side of steam. I literally found myself laughing while reading and had to drop the story a few times to get a handle on the giggles. If you need a good laugh add this to your TBR list, know that there is a lot of steam in this read.
It was an enemies to friends book like it says. Was humorous in a few places, twisted a little how they hate/lust each other, but overall an easy, quick read
Very romantic fun read.
I had so many honest to goodness laugh-out-loud moments that I had to stop to catch my breath.
Fun read!
good story
Author needs to grow up. I dumped this book after chapter 2. Go back to school and learn how to write a good story.
Quick thinking banter between characters….wish my mind was that fast!
I loved this book. Crazy antics and laugh out loud funny!
This is not your traditional Romance novel but a hilarious steamy romance!!! Totally enjoyed this funny read!!
Chase took Ambrosia’s virginity 10 years ago when he was her brothers’ friend. He is now a billionaire and her new boss. She (“Sia”) is a social media manager. Sia and Chase profess to hate each other. The hate is mutual, horrifically twisted, filthy and banging hot. – This is a fun and sexy romantic comedy. Sia is very quick witted, and Chase gives it right back. Her friends and brothers are also fun. The pranks Sia, Chase, and the brothers pulled when they were growing up are comical. Sia and Chase are still always into something
This book had me from the start. I can not say enough good things about Bro and Chase. I absolutely love them. This book has all the heat you want, a touch of angst you need and enough humor to make you pee your pants from laughing so hard. I can’t wait to read more in this series.
Mister McHottie is the first book in the Girl Band series and is an enemies to lovers romance with so much heart and emotion, you might want to bring some tissues. Chase is number one on Ambrosia’s hate list, so when he becomes her new boss, she needs to decide to fight dirty or let him win. Realizing they can’t be around each other without tongues waging war or clothes flying off, what happens when they realize they might not actually hate each other?
Holy chemistry! These characters completely captivated me, and I stayed up way past my bedtime to finish reading this book! There were three major “moods” of this book – hate, passion, and a vulnerability that lead to love, but throughout the whole book, you just can’t deny their chemistry and connection! Bro is so passionate about her job and her friends, but I think my favorite aspect about her was just how she wasn’t afraid to fight back. She never let life drag her down. Chase loves to push buttons, especially Bro’s, but I think my favorite part about him was that while he might be cocky and a tiny bit arrogant, he also came from humble beginnings and didn’t let that stop his drive or his appreciation for all he has. As mentioned before, there’s so much passion between these characters! We’re introduced to some new side characters that you can’t help but love, too! I really enjoyed how this book played out, how love ends up triumphing over hate, and I can’t wait to read more from this addicting author!
