The best enemies make the best lovers…”My favorite rom-com debut ever.” – Wall Street Journal Bestselling Author Lucy ScoreThere are three things I hate: Bratwurst in any form, my neighbors boinking like farm animals at 3 AM, and Chase Jett.Mostly I hate Chase Jett. It’s been ten years since he took my virginity—I’d make a bratwurst joke, but the unfortunate truth is that it would have to be a … the unfortunate truth is that it would have to be a brat-best joke, and yes, it kills me to admit that—and now he’s not only a billionaire, he’s also my new boss.
Turns out our hate is mutual. And this kind of hate is horrifically twisted, filthy, and banging hot.
I just might have to hate him forever.
Mister McHottie is the hilariously sexy romantic comedy that your mother warned you about, complete with an organic happy-ever-after (or seven), a Bratwurst Wagon, ill-advised office pranks, and no cheating or cliffhangers.

Witty, sexy, super fun read!
Well, well, well…this is the first book from this author that I’ve read. I have to say, she had me laughing from page one. I will also have to say that if you’re offended by steam this may not be for you. I will also say that if you are not familiar with the Midwest some of the humor may not be as funny.
Ambrosia and Chase have quite a history. They both grew up in Wishful Lake, Minnesota. Where baloney is king and bratwurst is celebrated annually. Chase was best friends with Bro’s brothers, Zeus and Ares. The operative word in that sentence is “was.” Chase grew up on the wrong side of town. It was basically just him and his mom. She worked in that baloney factory to barely keep a roof over their heads and baloney on the table. His only relief from his circumstances came when he was with Zeus and Ares. Ambrosia was the typical little sister that spied upon, pranked, and generally pestered the boys. Of course, they retaliated. Then they grew up and Chase tormented Bro in other ways. Ways that changed her life forever and ruined her dreams. Now, Chase has bought the company Bro works for and fireworks are exploding everywhere.
This is truly a love-hate relationship story. It is hilariously funny. The characters are uniquely bizarre and wonderful all at the same time. It’s got some heartwarming moments buried deep, but there nevertheless. If you’re looking for something light, quick, and unique this one may be for you!
HATE TO GREAT!!!
This was such a fun read! Loved Bro, her inner musings were hilarious, and Chase was, well…funny as H*LL…these two took hate sex to a whole nother level…except you knew, deep down those feelings had NOTHING to do with hate, and everything to do with hurt, loss and missed opportunity…hat might have been, feelings that were buried so deep, that when they came together, they combusted, exploded in pure, fiery passion…and I loved EVERY SECOND…what a fantastic read…sexy, sweet and just the right amount of so bad it’s good!
Laugh out loud funny. This was such a fun rom-com. Frienemies to lovers. This second chance love story was an easy ready I couldn’t put down.
Mister McHottie is hilarious! Now, add the narrations by Ava Erikson and Aiden Snow, and it’s simply brilliant. I don’t remember ever laughing so much out loud. I literally cried with laughter. Pippa Grant’s writing has the perfect mix of wit and smut.
I mean this might as well be the best enemies-to-lovers, office romance romantic comedy I’ve read in years. Ambrosia “Bro/Sia” May Berger is festy, fun, and outspoken. She also has a dirty mouth and hates Chase Jet with a vengeance. So much, that he is number one on the dick list. In fact, he is the original “dick” in said list and has been there for the past 10 years.
Now a billionaire, Chase buys the organic market New York company that Ambrosia works for. She is convinced he is there to torture her and make her life a living hell. They are combustible and so hot together. And when they open their mouths to confront each other, well it’s simply hysterical. The dialogues and banter are clever and filthy.
Chase and Ambrosia are not the only hilarious characters. I’m now a fan of Ambrosia’s brothers, Zeus and Ares. These two men-children are trouble. There isn’t a dull moment in this book. It’s just one amazing and funny scene after another, interwoven with steamy ones (do I need to mention the elevator?) Mister McHottie is pure gold!
I listened to the audio version of this book. I absolutely love books by Pippa Grant because they make me laugh so hard! In this book, Ambrosia discovers that an old “enemy” from her childhood just bought the company she works for. The bigger problem is that she really has the hots for him and he really has the hots for her.
They try really hard to hold onto the hate, but even the mad, sometimes childish insults they throw at each other can’t keep the heat at a tolerable temperature. Do the characters say or do these crazy things only because they are coming out of a crazy author mind? Mayyy….be. I really don’t care if it’s not things that a normal couple would say or do. I just know that it cracks me up and I have a good time listening to these books. The romance that is always at the base of Pippa Grant’s books is enough to make me warm in a different way than the volcano eruptions that is the humor in her books. The heart sighs…
The narrations by Ava Erickson and Aiden Snow were wonderful and playful and sexy.
I could go on and on about much I love Pippa’s books. They’re always hilarious, sweet and oh so spicy. Ambrosia and Chase have been life long enemies. 10 years before they had a bit of misunderstanding which led to a stolen bratwurst mobile. Now, Chase is her boss. And all the tension has grown 10 times it was before.
Their hate sex is another level and I’m all for it. This is the first appearance of the Berger Twins and man, they are a hoot. I loved every word of this book and can’t wait to read all of the books.
The audiobook version of this book made it 100 times funnier. Aiden Snow and Ava Erickson are comedic and steamy gold. Don’t miss out on the audio version of this story!
I am not a big fan of the enemies to lovers trope. I heard this book was so funny, that I wanted to try it. Maybe the ebook was funnier. I listened to the audiobook, and I struggled to finish it.
I didn’t like either of the characters. I thought they were ridiculous, petty, and childish. I felt a tiny bit of something for Chase because of the whole canned bologna thing. But his interactions with Bro (this chick had more names than a member of the Royal family) were off putting. Bro was completely off putting. I couldn’t stand her. She had no redeeming quality.
I didn’t like that her brothers were made out to be big hulking idiots. One being deemed as less of an idiot than the other.
I honestly can’t think of anything about this book that I did like. I very seldom give a book a one star rating, but this book was beyond disappointing to me. The whole scene toward the end when they were at the jail was dumb. A ridiculous indulgence on the part of cgase I can only recommend that you read it and judge for yourself.
Love this couple they make me laugh and want to be friends with them . The epilogue is amazing
Fantastic Story & Narration RomCom at it’s Best!
Mister McHottie
By: Pippa Grant
Narrated by: Ava Erickson, Aiden Snow
I loved everything about this book, from Pippa Grant’s wonderful writing style to the characters and storylines she created to the perfectly casted narrators who brought it all to life. This is a enemies to lovers type romantic comedy, the story grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it the entire time. I adored both lead characters Ambrosia “Bro” Berger and Chase Jett, they have history together, it was all good and even great until it wasn’t, a night of laughs and pranks turned out to be a night behind bars for Bro with Chase no where in sight. Chase left town soon after and went on to became a self made billionaire. Bro’s life was not as peachy, since she was the one caught redhanded, brats and all. Ten years later Chase is back in her life, a life that was not all peaches and cream for her but she has been making ends meet and is doing well working for Crunchy, an organic grocery store chain. A chain that Chase just bought, making him her new boss. Bros is not happy but she is determined to make it work and even get some revenge. I loved how everything played out in this book the shenanigans and her friends were hysterical. Chase was clueless at times but he turned out to not be as much of a wurst as she thought. This story is fast moving and is cleverly plotted with a perfect balance of drama, angst, humor, heartfelt and emotional moments and romance. Pippa Grant thank you for this fantastic story, the laughs and the emotional rollercoaster ride.
And for the fabulous narration, Ava Erickson and Aiden Snow are talented narrators and voice artists. They an awesome job portraying the characters, humanizing them as they brought them to life, giving each their own voice and personality. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all of the characters emotions and projected them into their performance. They handled the witty dialogue with ease and landed the humor effortlessly. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for great listen
OMG This book is so hilarious !!
Chase and Ambrosia are so freaking funny, their banter made me laugh so hard.
The tirade of insults they give eachother, even while having sexy times had me choking on my hot chocolate as I read.
They have known eachother since they were kids and so it comes naturally to them to exchange jibes of insult..Chase is Ambrosia’s brothers friend and they have taunted and teased her all her life.
But they have a sexual attraction that cannot be tamed, even after years of not seeing eachother..its there stronger than ever.
Mister Mchottie is a delightfully, entertaining and funfilled feel good read.
I highly recommend it.
5 Stars.
I <3 this book!
This was a great start to a series. The characters were hilarious, watching their interactions was fun, the storyline was entertaining, and the writing was great.
Two thumbs up!
High-octane, raunchy, hilarity…
And a feel-good romance as well! This was a side-splitting, witty, funny, heart-smunching beginning to this series. The Girl Band members are there for each other and they don’t let anything slide. They call it the way they see it and Ambrosia’s current predicament was going to let their (awesome) out…
Chase and Ambrosia had a very checkered, sausage-filled past. A childhood filled with brothers and pranks, that included their good friend Chase, ended in a horrible, non-funny way. Their memories of events were much different though so when they met up years later, there was a lot to work through… These two were uninhibited and brought out the best and wurst in each other. I happily was along for the wild ride…
If you want a welcome dose of wild and crazy, laughter and heart in your romance than you have come to the right place. And needless to say, bring it (more) on!

If I ever meet Pippa Grant, I owe her a drink or two. She never fails to lift my mood, laugh out loud and marvel at her ingenuity! Bro and Chase are fabulous, but almost risk being overshadowed by the man mountains that are Ares and Zeus, aka, Brute and Force! In short, a wonderfully, life affirming, laugh inducing fun Fest!!
I love Pippa Grant’s audiobooks! If you want to brighten up your day, grab one of hers! She never disappoints! This is the first book in the Girl Band Series, a Romantic Comedy. Ambrosia (Bro) and Chase’s enemies to lovers story is sweet and hilarious! This is also a great billionaire boss and brother’s best friend romance. Chase is a sexy handsome billionaire. Ambrosia is lovely, sassy, and smart. Their journey to love is hilarious, filled with pranks, and heat! The supporting characters are intriguing! Bro’s brothers, Zeus and Ares are great characters. I loved Bro’s best friends, Parker, Willow, and Eloise. Aiden Snow and Ava Erickson did a fantastic job with the narration. This was a fun and sweet listen and I enjoyed it! For more of the Berger Siblings, you can listen to Zeus’s story in The Pilot and the Puck-Up, and Ares story in the Beauty and the Beefcake.
Mister McHottie
By: Pippa Grant
Narrated by: Ava Erickson, Aiden Snow
When I need a good romcom, I know Pippa Grant is one I can turn to. This weekend I needed something that would make me laugh and have a good story. Mister McHottie fit the bill perfectly. Chase and Ambrosia(Bro) have a history. The best friend of her twin brothers, their times together were just as you would imagine. The banter and antics of brothers and sister alike turned into much more drastic for Chase and Bro as they became adults. Now striving for her dream, she finds out he bought the supermarket chain she works for. Will that spark of hate burn into something more? Grant has created an fantastic couple. These two have combustible chemistry, and their banter had me walking around with a smile. Plus we have crossover characters from her other books, with Zeus and Ares bringing their brute force and adding more fun to the mix. This was just what I was looking for and it’s highly recommended!
Picking narrators, I was surprised to see Ava Erickson and Aiden Snow reading a romcom. I love these two so much, but normally they are reading more angsty stories. But I have to say, these two are perfectly cast. Comedic timing, complimenting voices, their choice of character personalities, all spot on! Their talents know no bounds and this shows just how talented they are. I loved every minute!

Pippa Is a genius! I’m addicted to her words.
I enjoyed listening to this one yesterday. I always know going into a Pippa story that it will have wonderful banter between all of the characters. I love how she incorporates all of the side characters. I am glad I took the time to listen to this story. Ava Erickson is my all time favorite narrator and bonus to have Aiden also in the audio. They both bring the story to live from the first page until the end. I visualize like a movie and love to watch their performance. I would highly recommend this story.
This story blew me out of the ballpark. It was so hysterical I couldn’t stop laughing. It wasn’t normal funny it was so wacky. The fact they always got caught on camera having the hottest sex was an excellent addition to a funny , wild book. I give this book more then 10 stars and I recommend it very highly. I put all Pippa’s books on my TBR.
This book is so good! Omg. Pippa Grant is a boss at hilarious books full of chemistry and sexy times. The hate/love relationship between Chase and Bro was amazing. The plot was fast-paced. I had to read this in one sitting. I can’t wait for more from this author.
