Twelve menTwelve months Twelve articles Mister Dos is unsuspecting victim number two. He’s sweet, hardworking, and a rough-and-tough country boy … a refreshing suitor for Anthea. Will Anthea be able to keep her identity hidden this time? Will she continue with the dare and keep her job?And will she do it without falling in love?
I wanted more of Anetha and Country boy- come on Belle, I love it all.. but this was amazing. Country Boy was hot to trot.
Mister Dos is Y-U-M-M-Y!!!!!
Athena is about to get a dose of country living. Try not to get hot and bothered with Country boy.
I definitely felt the spark between Country boy and Athena. I am looking forward to Mister Tres.
Mister Dos by Belle Brooks
Anthea has finished her first of twelve dates and is now heading out on her second adventure to meet Mister Dos. This time she is heading to the country.
She is shocked when she arrives at the airport and discovers no internet, no air conditioned corridors and she is given a paper ticket. Then she has to walk out on the tarmac to board her plane. It is hot, dirty and there are sooo many flies which are trying to get into her mouth. Once on the plane it’s packed liked sardines and smells like a locker room. She feels like she’s in the twilight zone. Then her hotel reservations are gone and she ends up on a working cattle ranch. There she meets Mr. Country her (Mister Dos) who turns out to be a gentleman, protector, lover and roguishly handsome man that likes to dance under the stars at night. Will she be able to walk away or will Mr. Country steal her heart.
This was a fun and sexy read. There was more depth in this book than the first and it feels like Anthea is spreading her wings a little. It’s more like self dicovery for me. The writing keeps you entertained to the very last page and I can’t wait to see what happens in Mister Tres. You will definitely need to read all 12 books to get the full feel of the story but I love that each novella stands on its own.
Mister Dos was so good!!! I really enjoyed Country Boy very much! Can you say YUMMY! He was swoon worthy, protective, safe and definitely with the right morals. Wished City girl stayed country and stayed with Mister Dos! But she is onto her next Mister. Can’t wait for Mister Tres!!! I’m loving these short stories!
Highly enjoyed this second addition to this series. Highly recommended
This short story series is addicting,
… this the second one, Athena meets “country boy”
He is all swoon worthy, country gentleman,
… can’t wait for more!!!
Book number 2 in the short story series and I quite liked it.
It was short and sweet. I felt that there was a lot more emotions in the book and I thoroughly enjoyed it but once again, I so wanted more! I loved how Anthea and Mister Dos first met and the slight connection that was starting to developed further on in the story. I really wouldn’t have minded if she ended up staying there!
Can’t wait to see what’s next in store for Anthea.
4.5 stars
Short and sweet with a good helping of country on the side…
He’s mister number two, and this cowboy’s a gentleman and all about looking after his girl. Meanwhile Anthea continues on her twelve month mission, bringing a whole new meaning to work experience.
The stories are short and sweet, and Mister Dis has a good helping of country on the side. I love the premise of these books, and whilst I do prefer a little more depth to my characters and their relationships, it is fair to say no one gets hurt in the writing of these stories..
So two down and Anthea is about to move on to her third encounter, I look forward to seeing if Mister Tres can persuade her to linger just a little bit longer in his arms…I received an advanced copy of this book from the author.
Mister Dos aka country boy was perfect in everyway. I loved his protectiveness and passion for the simple things. I also enjoyed how in this book we saw Anthea true start to learn and grow. I am really looking forward to seeing what happens with Mister Tres and I hope Anthea continues to grow as a character. Awesome, quick and fun read. Perfect for those times you don’t want anything drawn out or heavy.
I enjoyed this second book better than the first, it sucked me in, kept me entertained, but it was over so fast.
Journalist Anthea is on a mission, find a different guy each month but don’t fall in love. This time the city girl meets a country boy, he doesn’t even know her name. I think she should have thrown in her job and stayed dancing under the stars with this cowboy.
It’s a fun, short tale and I can’t wait for the next one to see who she finds.
This is the second book in this series, and Anthea meets sexy country boy Mister Dos. This is a steamy quick read, which had me intrigued throughout. I cannot wait for the next book.
Loved this book, the second in the series from Belle, quick paced, funny, likeable characters and well written!
Mister Dos is the second book in this new series by Belle Brooks and is another short read. I found that I really enjoyed this story and the presence of Mister Dos in this story. Even though I liked the first book in this series, I felt that I enjoyed this story a bit more because of the interactions between the two characters and the heat within the story between these two characters. I really enjoyed the two characters within this story and I absolutely loved Athena. Belle Brooks has written an incredibly fun series that I cannot wait to read more to find out what happens.
Mister Dos is a quick, flirty read.
Andrea, or City Girl, spends a month in a small country town where she becomes familiar with life and work on a cattle station.
She also meets and enjoys time alone with Country Boy, or Mister Dos.
Their month is fun and orgasm filled but as the month comes to a close, Andrea leaves to return to the city, her next article and the hunt for Mister Tres!
I am loving these short stories. 30 days another anonymous encounter, this time out in the Country. As Anthea embarks on another journey, she finds her next companion on a cattle ranch and unexpectedly learns more about herself this trip. I am curious if Anthea will pick any of the 12 men at the end of the year and what is they haven’t waited for her. Bring on Mister Tres!
*I received a free copy of Mister Dos from the author. This has in no way influenced my review which is honest and unbiased.*
3.5 stars
Mister Dos was funny, sweet, and quite a bit hot. I enjoyed it more than Mister Uno, because I felt like Anthea had more substance, and her search for the differences between men and women was more realistic here.
The humor had me laughing out loud, and I loved Country-Boy.
4.5 Stars! Ok ok – so I was pretty iffy on book one – Mister Uno. HOWEVER, I am SO glad I stuck with the series because this book was incredible! I really liked Mister Dos a lot! I loved Country Boy! He was absolutely perfect. I want her to stay on that farm forever and have little farmer babies in overalls with tiny muddy cheeks and….. just yes. Definitely recommend!
Oh my!! COUNTRY BOY has my heart! Short, sweet and to the point with this one. I love reading about her adventures and the one with country boy was so heartwarming. There are men still out there like this, I KNOW IT! Can not wait to continue with Mister Tres!!
