I enjoyed these stories. They were funny with enjoyable characters.
Excellent series.
Extremely good. I enjoyed Missy character. She is a real woman with real weight issues.
These books are good light reading. They’re like Murder She Wrote. You don’t want to be part of Missy’s circle because someone gets killed and everyone is a suspect. She can’t leave it alone and keeps putting herself in danger.
Story line is not bad but there were several errors that were distracting.
Missy is an atypical heroine in that she’s not the glamorous, kung fu artist or damsel in distress. She fights her own insecurities about her weight while solving crimes in a methodical fashion. She doesn’t take silly, unrealistic risks but still managed to find herself in the thick of things. A fun series.
Each book is pleasingly short, even though each contains superfluous asides that have little to do with the story and exist to make the book longer.
I love the,Missy Demeanor series. I started reading them out of order. Eventually bought the six nook series. Now I am re reading in order. Missy’s escapades are more realistic then most. Living in a small town sooner or later , your gonna run out of people to murder in a small town. Missy is awesome she basically rolls with the punches. Part of her charm is her weight issues. Which we All have. Keep writing. !!
I enjoyed the characters and story lines.
so so
A fun cozy mystery series with quirky characters.
Love the character development! There were a few typos, but editing in my mind still allowed for entertaining reading! Love Missy Demeaner!
Very light cozy mysteries—good for a rainy day. I liked them. Kept me guessing. Missy Demeanor is likeable although very careless and too risk-taking.
Loved the series. Quick delightful easy read.
Loved the whole series
This book is great because it is easy to read and has a great love story too. I like the sequential stories where the characters grow as the books continue. Didn’t want to put the book down because I wanted to find out what Missy did next.
She never disappointed.
I tried to like the books. I read the first books in the series and the characters didn’t excite me, they’re interactions were frustrating, predictable and didn’t engage me at all. The story lines were just the same, the editing and continuity were bad.
Boring and repetitious
Great read
A good story line but I got tired of the story. Perhaps if I’d just read one book I would have enjoyed it more than the same story just different characters over and over.
