She’s in over her brilliant head… the run, she’ll have to roll the dice on a stranger—a very angry Marine—who makes it obvious he doesn’t believe her or want her around.
He’s not buying her innocent act.
Sten Jenkins was a Marine on a mission. That is until Miss High IQ ruined his plan. Now, instead of going undercover as a “Black Hat,” a criminal hacker, to the biggest hacker convention in Las Vegas, Sten has to babysit Izzy while she tries to draw out those who are selling her IT work on the dark web. But it all sounds a little too convenient to Sten when he realizes Izzy’s boyfriend is a global tech wizard, known to have dealings with North Korea.
Now Sten and Izzy will have to decide who’s playing whom and who’s being played in this high stakes game of international security roulette.

Izzy is a pint-size dynamo with mad computer skills and those skills have her in serious trouble. Clearly someone is after her, and not in a “good way.” She needs a protector and boy did she hit the lottery with Sten Jenkins!
Izzy Benson, AKA, “goth girl, sorority girl, sex tease. Dangerous. Sexy. Vulnerable. Rinse and repeat.” This is the way Sten describes her and I think the man was spot on.
The story is compelling, the characters are believable and the tension is palpable. The book is filled with surprises, evil, a smile or two and a good measure of chemistry … but not so much that it takes away from the story.
No spoilers here, just a fabulous story, beautifully written and filled with great characters and no cliffhangers.
I received a copy of this book from Hidden Gems and am submitting an honest, voluntary review based on the story presented. Job very well done…so much so, I immediately went to Amazon and bought the first book in the series and plan on starting it right away. Jacki Delicki is now on my “favorite authors short list.”
First book by this author. So glad I took a chance. Fast pace, sexy and I love reading about hot alpha males. Both characters have strong personalities and it’s fun reading the banter between the brothers. Izzy and Sten have an instant attraction. This is a fun page tuner, can’t put down read. Can’t wait to read the others.
I voluntarily reviewed this advance reader copy of this book
Absolutely loved this book the story line was very interesting. The characters all of them were fascinating. Izzy Benson is a hacker and working as a software coder and Sten Jenkins worked and works for the government and as private sercurity for richard Dean’s software company, they are trying to take down a traitor who just happens to be Izzy’s ex lover. Along hte way she and Sten fall hard and fast for each other. I think this series might be a good one if their all as good as this one. jacki Delecki created a page turner for me. Enjoyed.

Can Izzy Benson defeat her ex, powerful Charles Worthy, and expose him? He is trying to sell to the North Koreans some intel developed for Izzy and she needs to stop the sale. She can’t do it alone. When Richard Dean offers her to help in an undercover mission to expose the deal Shen jumps at the chance to get revenge. But the chemistry with Sten Jenkins, the one responsible of the mission, is too strong to ignore, even when she is done with men and he is against commitment. A powerful and intense romantic thriller. I received a free copy of this book and I voluntarily review it.
I am really enjoying this series by Ms. Delecki. This installment features Sten and Izzy with appearances of characters from the first two books. It starts off with Izzy being on the run and in hiding from her creepy ex-boss/ex-boyfriend. She has moved to a new city, started a new job and has tried to hide her identity, unfortunately none of this works well enough to protect her. Enter Sten Jenkins, a former spec ops member and now part of Jenkins Security and Cyber Command and a computer geek like Izzy. As soon as the sparks start to fly between them, Sten tries to tell Izzy that he is not into commitments and she agrees to a one night stand before they start the op to take down her former boss, who is trying to sell government secrets to the Russians. You will have to read the book to see if Sten and Izzy can take down the bad guys and get their HEA.
The interactions between Sten and his brothers, the brothers and the women that are or want to be involved with them and the other operatives will definitely keep you entertained and turning the pages. I really hope that there will be more books in this series and that former characters will keep making appearances in those future books.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Fast paced suspense and action from start to finish. Izzy is scared and running from her ex. Luckily she has tough guy adonis Sten to look out for her. Sten is all alpha male and only wants to protect the woman he is falling hard for. The op is in play and the two along with the rest of the team have to move smart and fast to bring down the bad guy. The story is adrenaline filled with lots of tecno language. The author does a great job of simplifying all the jargon she uses to engage and immerse the reader. There are light and funny moments even in the midst of the action. Another wonderful story from Jacki Delecki.
Action, action and more action. This is a fast paced suspense story that keeps you reading way into the night. I love the Jenkins’ family and their friends. The dialog is terrific and the snipes and back handed comments are hilarious. Sten and Izzy are a cute couple. So who will be next in this suspense driven series?
I received a complimentary copy.
It’s a true pleasure when a book has a strong female lead that is strengthened by the male, rather than a feeble damsel in distress that is rescued, and this is indeed one of those books. Izzy is more than a match for Sten, and it’s her plans that shape the conclusion, rather than her following something put together for her. The reader is taken on a suspenseful journey through treasonous activities, abusive partners, and tremendous courage, and I couldn’t put this book down. It’s a one-sitting read.
4.25 STARS
I purchased this as part of a bundle the author offered called THE IMPOSSIBLE MISSION SERIES: Books 1-3.
I loved book 1 and book 2 less than this one. This one started out strong, and then it overwhelmed me with all the lingo on the operation, made the story dragged some. You have all these elite units to capture the villain and he outsmarts them.
Our h starts off being the victim, but does grow into being a strong person. The H let his feelings get in the way for the h and practically jeopardizes the operation. Still had some interesting scenes. Everything is wrapped up nicely and you know the other brother is now due for his HEA.
There is lovemaking, outside of marriage heat level 5 out of 5. These two are about as opposite as you can get and it was hard to see them as a couple.
No cheating, no cliffhanger for our couple, HEA, little on romance and steam. (ljb)
Love this whole series. There is plenty of action, danger, heat and HEA. If you want an edge of your seat adventure this is the book/series for you to read.
Mission Impossible to Love (Impossible Mission #3), my twelfth read from author Jacki Delecki and I have to admit I was only familiar with this author from the Code Breakers series before reading this series! No matter what era she writes in you can always count on wonderful character development. Delecki has created another series of books that you cannot wait to get to the next one. As always I look forward to the next book, they’re that good. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 – July 24, 2018).
Mission: Impossible to Love by Jacki Delecki was another suspenseful ride from the first chapter. I can always count on Ms. Delecki to provide me with alpha males and strong females that can stand on their own.
Izzy was a child prodigy of mathematics and computer science. She made a naive mistake in her first job that sends her running to hide out in Seattle and work at Dean Industries. Sten Jenkins is the typical alpha male but he’s also a computer whiz as well. The electricity between these two is explosive but neither trust each other as danger closes in on Izzy. A well-crafted and fast paced plot with action and suspense that kept me turning the pages. I enjoyed seeing Sten’s brothers, Adrian and Sophie again as they all made appearances in this book. I’m already excited to see who Ms. Delecki will write about next in this series.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. All of the above opinions are my own.
Started with a bang, but fizzled out
Jacki Delecki’s third book in her Impossible Mission series is titled Mission Impossible to Love. Unfortunately, the title is too accurate. The beginning is thrilling and chilling, with the heroine Izzy on the run from an abusive cheater ex. She gets mugged at her own house, her protector shows up within minutes, and it sort of goes wonky from there. Stan Jenkins is a Marine spec ops veteran and a member of a security company with his brothers. The brothers and their respective buddies, ladies, employers, etc. turn the mission into a melee. I couldn’t keep track of them all. Stan and Izzy supposedly have chemistry, but I didn’t feel it. Too much angsty alpha-male inner monologue from him, and Izzy is just not real. One minute she’s genius badass seductress, the next minute she’s the kicked puppy. The ins and outs of cyber-hacking, dark-web surfing, and digital espionage weren’t well-enough explained to make much sense to me, and as the plot thickened and spread from one bad ex boyfriend, to the Bratva, the North Koreans, the occasional random hacker, and everyone attending the big Defcon conference, more and more good guys (CIA, FBI, Army, Navy, Marines, etc.) got called in – and I got lost. I guess everything turned out OK, and the H/h got their HEA, but it wasn’t the exciting read I was hoping for. This is a voluntary review of an ARC.
Cyber world suspense and excitement all around
Mission: Impossible To Love, the third book in the Mission Impossible series, by Jacki Delecki is a well written romantic suspense with military, spec ops, secret covert businesses, coding, hacking and of course lots of steamy, hot chemistry.
Sten and Izzy are thrown together to catch some bad guys and their close proximity and time together creates the perfect storm for the beginning of a love to last.
I really enjoyed the plot of this story and I think this author did a lot of research or is a geek/nerd herself since there was a lot of tech speak throughout. I find cyberspace, cyber world, cyber security absolutely intriguing even though I really don’t get it. Didn’t matter to me because I just loved these characters. Between their explosive chemistry and developing feelings, everything comes to a head at the conclusion including a claiming or declaration of sorts. So, not only do they get the bad guy, Sten and Izzy get each other.
Overall, a very well written romantic suspense with all the elements I love and must have including the HEA.
I read an ARC of this book from Hidden Gems and voluntarily share my review.
ARC review For honest review. This is a 10 stars of awesome writing . Izzy is working for dean’s software company and joining up with Jenkins security at defcon in Vegas to stop the drone product from being sold but she even has a bigger secret .
Book three in the Impossible Mission Romantic Suspense Series a well written story that kept me turning pages. This is the first book in this series that I have read, and I now want to read the first two books. I enjoyed reading this book. I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing.
“She was a computer nerd who fought malware and Trojan horses.” And, the story continued with tangled webs, criminal minds and terrorist activities. Not everyone understands the world of computer hackers, gamers and code writers, but this author explained and enhanced the story-line so well that I was completely involved.
Having read the previous books, I was totally engrossed in the activities of programmers and those who try to sell high tech materials to government enemies, with a bit of romance interwoven. I was into the read right up to the end. “Izzy” Benson was brilliant and Sten Jenkins was falling for her.
I loved every moment of this exciting book and thank the author for the ARC.
This story has a perfect blend of humour, action, intensity and hot love scenes.
It is great to read a story where the female lead that doesn’t need help and will not sink into a puddle in the corner when things don’t go her way.
I also like a strong alpha man that let’s his woman be herself and that’s what these characters are. Two strong people that become better together.
The story line has great chemistry and a great suspense.
A great read.
I received a free copy of this book via Hidden Gems and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Great story. I couldn’t put it down. This is the third book in the series and while it stands alone, you’ll get some background information if you read the other books (which are worth it!). Izzy is an IT genius, strong and a little naive but never stupid. When she discovers she’s being used for her programs she makes a run for it. She runs into Sten Jenkins (those Jenkins boys are something else) and the attraction is immediate but they play a dangerous game trying to stop government hacking and sales of sensitive material, including Izzy’s algorithms, to other countries. Loved both Sten and Izzy. Izzy is truly smart and has good ideas and Sten really doesn’t underestimate her once he gets to know her. I like a female lead that doesn’t need help. I also like a strong alpha man that let’s his woman be herself and that’s what these characters are. Two strong people that become better together. Great chemistry and a great suspense. Keep turning those pages – there’s at least one more book in this series. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
