I got a copy of this book through Hidden Gems and I voluntarily chose to review it. This one was well written. There wasn’t as much action as there usually is in a military type story. I did like the story and I would encourage everyone to get this book. This is one I would ask you to give it a chance. I really do think you will like it.
Man I love these books. So much action and danger… sexy men with guns. The Jenkins brothers are a riot! Plus all gorgeous and broody and bad ass. Even though Nick was a moron a few too many times, I loved him and Emily! So ready for more.

Another great book in this series. I love the complex characters, action packed suspenseful story, and the guaranteed happily ever after.
This book is about Nick Jenkins who is the eldest of the brothers, a former Marine Special Ops, an alpha, domineering, take charge bodyguard. The heroine is Emily Hewitt, a professional cellist and baby sister of Nick’s co-worker/friend Reeves. They had a one night stand four months ago before she left on a tour. He has not been able to get her off his mind and jumps at the chance to protect her when her tour manager and driver are both killed right after she gets home.
Mission: Impossible to Forget (Impossible Mission #4), my nineteenth read from author Jacki Delecki. No matter what era & genre she writes in you can always count on wonderful character development and a captivating storyline. Picking up the storyline of Emily & Nick begun in Mission Impossible to Love, Delecki has created another series of books that you cannot wait to get to the next one. As always I look forward to the next book. “I received a free review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.” (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 – July 24, 2018).
Like all the other books in this series, this was just as great if not better. Emily a world class Cello player had a brief relationship with Nick Jenkins that ended badly because of his issues and misconceptions. Emily is now in danger and Nick goes in to protector mode.
This book was all action, suspense, lots of drama and emotion between the two and I must mention the heat and brief steamy moments. Just a feel good all rounder book and I’ve really enjoyed each book in this series, and each one a little more than the last. I guess it’s because of the familiarity of the brothers as the team work to keep everyone safe and protected. I love books like that and recommend these books especially.
This is an ARC and this is my honest and voluntary review of this great story
For honest review. When Emily Hewitt a celo musician is in danger again and when Nick Jenkins special forces operator marines captain and her brother find out their on ground to keep her save . 10 stars awesome story
Mission: Impossible to Forget by Jacki Delecki was another winner for me. I know that I can count on Ms. Delecki’s books to grab my attention from the first page.
Emily Hewitt and Nick Jenkins met several months ago while he was her bodyguard during another investigation, Mission: Impossible to Love, and now they are given a second chance to get it right. Ms. Delecki allowed Nick and Emily to develop fully throughout the story so that I was rooting for them as they worked together through their personal issues as well as trying to determine why Emily has become a target. I love this team of Alpha males who support each other and get the job done. Suspense, intrigue, some groveling from Nick because he really did blow it previously with Emily, spies and a plot that moved at lightning speed until the pulse pounding conclusion.
The author provided me with a copy of this book to review. This did not influence my thoughts and opinions in any way. All opinions expressed are my own.
A total hit! I loved this book by Jacki and it had all the feels, just enough suspense, drama, laughter and sexiness. This book is a roller coaster ride and you will love it. Full of action, suspense, drama. This story was brilliant

Bodyguard and the cellist.
Emily is a musician who is in dire need of a bodyguard. She gets one in the gruff Nick.
What I liked?
Nick is suffering from hearing loss, which is also why he was medically discharged from the military. Emily connects to the world through the music she creates on her cello (I really wish I learned to play the cello).
It’s kind of brilliant, really.
Recommend.
I not only love romantic suspense but I love this particular series This is the fourth book in this series and I have loved every one in fact I think they get better and better. This si the latest offering and is Nick Jenkins story
Nick is a former marine recon soldier who has been given a medical discharge due to severe hearing loss. He is called in to be the bodyguard for Emily Hewitt a professional cellist she has returned from a concert tour of Asia and with her manager been killed and other odd things happening her brother has employed Nick to protect her. What he doesn’t know is that these two have history he was her bodyguard once before but it went much further before he walked away from her as with his hearing loss he doesn’t think that he is good enough for her. Can he keep her safe what is the danger threatening her and will they finally admit what is between them You will have to read to see
This is a well written romantic suspense with strong characters in Nick and Emily. The author does a fantastic job developing the story and pulls you in with the danger and secrets as well as the romance. It’s a sweet love story , is action packed , moves quickly and smoothly with her vividly painted scenes. I was captured right from the start reading their story. Loved and highly recommend this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
An exciting suspense-filled romance that I as a reader have always enjoyed in the historical romances by author Jacki Delecki! I loved the H, Nick, and could understand his feelings of not being worthy of Emily since the explosion he had been in robbed him of the ability to fully hear and appreciate the beauty of her music. Of course, no woman worth her salt is ever going to hold something like that against him but hey, pride is a tricky thing that is not that easy to overcome. Emily was not that easy for me to comprehend since she took way too many chances and put herself into too much danger because of her own pride and the belief that she did not need to be protected. Especially by Nick, the man who had hurt her in the past, thank you very much!! The path to a HEA was definitely an uphill battle for them! I thoroughly enjoyed the action, intrigue, and romance of this contemporary romantic suspense and will be checking out the other books in this series.

Excellent. Intense and suspenseful. Wonderful characters. Emily and Nick have great chemistry and a second chance to get it right. I love the story.
Emily & Nick’s story.
As Emily(professional cellist) returns from foreign tour, he manager is killed by what police say was a robber.
Reeves, Emily’s brother calls on Nick to protect her as things escalate.
Nick & Emily had a brief fling months ago, both still attracted, but neither willing to admit it.
Nick lost partial hearing from an IED on his last mission as a Marine. He is willing to protect Emily no matter the cost, does not want to let her know about his hearing loss.
Action packed, resolution in the end.
This book can be read as a standalone, but it’s best read as part of the series. I love these Jenkins brothers. The former military, alpha-protector aspects of their genetic make-up just make me swoon. Nick may be a swoon-worthy hero, but he plays his cards close to his chest which makes it hard for Emily to understand what went wrong. I like Emily. She’s again caught in a difficult situation and handles it with remarkable grace. I can understand that having grown up as the protected princess of her family would cause her to chafe at restrictions. I think in today’s day and age, we all have a better understanding of what it feels like to chafe under restrictions that have been put in place to protect us. However, the number of times she goes against the recommendations and puts herself and others in danger because she didn’t want to be “protected” made me want to tear my hair out by the roots. Especially the climactic scene of the book. That one made me want to throw heavy objects at breakable things. Thank heavens for Stella’s presence in this book. Her doggy antics left me giggling and allowed me not to focus so much on some of the things that bothered me. I’m looking forward to learning more about the rest of the Jenkins brothers and their extended “family”.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Hidden Gems Books.
Book four in the Impossible Mission Romantic Suspense Series a well written suspense story and a second chance. This is Professional cellist Emily Elizabeth Hewitt and Former Special-Ops Marine Nicholas Bergen Jenkins a Scandinavian. There is suspense, drama, danger, twists, turns, kidnapping, the Serbians group, and romance. I want to read more in this series. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Wow this is other fast paced suspense action story of Jacki’s Mission series.
Emily Hewitt is a professional cellist who loves nothing more then playing and sharing her music. She travels all over the world doing just that. She is just back from a tour in Asian when her manager is murdered. The police are saying it was a random shooting. After the funeral she goes for drinks with other gifted artist Ben. When they go to leave she finds her driver is gone and another guy is driving the car, who is a really scaring looking guy with tattoo’s and a Eastern accept. Ben goes with her to her apt cause neither like the looks of this strange guy.
After she gets home she finds her brother Reeves has called in Nick Jenkins a ex-marine special opts bodyguard
To check on her. Emily and Nick have history as he has been her bodyguard before and they had one special night before he left her. Nick left her as he has a secret that makes him think he is not good enough for her. She is very upset with Reeves. Nick tells her about her studio and apt being broken into that she is in danger from who ever killed the agent.
As these two have to run from international thugs, The CIA and the police they will have to learn to trust each other,
work out their problems all with help from friends, family and of course Stella the wonder dog.
This book has it all suspense, danger, romance, and lots and lots of strong hunky guys….
Be sure and get your copy you will not be able to put it down…
This is the first book I’ve read in this series. I love the ex military aspect. There is a great story here and background information. It’s not just about the heat. Loved Stella she sounded cute. Nick and Emily make a cute couple if Nick can get out of his head. Emily’s friends are getting killed to get to her. Secrets, lies and danger around every corner. Loved this book. HEA.
This is the 4th book in the Impossible Mission series. This story is about Emily and Nick. I enjoyed this read but I haven’t yet read the previous 3 books in the series. This is a suspenseful read that keeps you turning pages. I liked that their chemistry was quite captivating. Enjoyable and compelling I voluntarily received an arc copy of this book from HiddenGems
I totally adore this series. Emily once again finds herself having to be in protective custody through nothing she has done. Nick, he fierce retired Marine Commander, rushes to the rescue of the one woman who has him tied into knots. Protecting her will give him the opportunity to explain the abrupt way things ended the last time they were together. One of the things I love about this series, and admire the author for, is the way she tells each characters story with scene overlaps that gives you a real sense of the timeline in which they are happening. As you read each book in the series you are able to easily fill in the gaps and feel more connected to the characters.
