I really love this series and boy was I surprised at who the killer was. BOY-howdy I didn’t see that coming!!
I would love to live in Wag Tail, but must be content with visits in this series. The town is indulging in a weekend of date match ups, so of course, Holly is roped in by her Ooma . Holly and Trixie are on a ‘matched’ date when they stumble across a dead body. The twisty turns of this mystery will keep you guessing, while the animals and characters pull you in. A great book on audio—the characters just come to life with this narrator.
This series is a fun, feel good read with a good mystery to solve. I really enjoy them. Fun read for animal lovers too.
A matchmaking event is taking place in Wagtail where the pets are invited too. A professional matchmaker is going to help match the participants based on a questionnaire that they complete with questions about their pets. Although Holly did not want to participate in this event, her grandmother has other ideas and fills out a questionnaire for her. There are a lot of people visiting for the event and the businesses are busier than ever. Holly and her dog Trixie discover a dead body while out on a walk with her match and the mystery begins. The man is a stranger and once his identity is revealed, there are more questions than answers. The characters in this series and the town of Wagtail continue to be enchanting and I can’t wait catch up with the rest of the books in this series.
I love this series. This time there was a matchmaking event for people with pets. Another great story.
Fun and easy read
Very good all of Krista’s books are fun!!!
This series is always entertaining. This one is no exceptiono. The plot moves along well.
Interesting and fun mystery filled with pets who lead their human companions into all sorts of things. The mystery does have surprises and twists.
Like reading about place that caters to pets
Would love to live in Wagtail. Really nice story.
I liked the idea of combining people and their animals with looking for romance
Very good story with fun characters.
Enjoyable book with good characters and solid plot. The idea of matching people by also matching through their pets is clever and the murderer isn’t easily spotted by the reader.
Good!
Book became very slow also too many characters to keep track of . I really didn’t connect to any one in the book. If you know about the behavior of dogs and cats the book is unrealistic.
The great and wonderful characters in this series of books is none other than cats and dogs. They play a huge part in solving these mysteries. This hotel is like none other. Pets are allowed to stay with the owners. They shops in this town are even catered to the pets needs.
Holly helps her Grandmother Oma run the Maple Inn there in Wagtail. But with the help of her Jack russell terrier Trixie and Twinkletoes the cat, there is nothing that they can’t do together. Great series and one worth reading from the beginning.
I wasn’t sure whither to give this book a 1 or a 2. So hard to read . I read two other books while trying to finish this one . I ended up skimming a lot. The characters are so weak (as in developed in the writing and portrayed). It was really awful.
