Mission: Accept is the second story in the Rise Again Warrior series. Dana Donahue might be Shane Logan’s cousin, but she’s nothing like him—she’s quite the opposite of him. Her thoughts focus on what money and people can do for her. She never approved of Shane joining the military and knows little about the world he has lived in for most of his life. All that will change when she has to ask him … to ask him for a job after her father cuts her off.
Derek Stall lives on the streets by choice—not circumstance. Memories of what he did under order sometimes haunt him, other times give him the strength to move through one more day until he can finish the mission he started.
A chance meeting between Dana and Derek will lead to an unlikely friendship that might just save his life, but the drastic differences between them could be the dividing wedge that keeps them apart.
When Derek feels he has to leave Rise Again Warrior to complete his mission, he begins to realize that he could be leaving behind more than just a few friends. Could he be leaving behind the possibility of a healthy future before he finally accepts his past?
The third book in the Rise Again Warrior Series, Mission: Repair, will be released in November 2020 for Veteran’s Day. It is now available on Pre-order

Derek Stall is living on the street as penance for a mistake when he was a Navy SEAL. Dana Donahue has just had her monthly stipend drastically cut by her parents due to being a spoiled brat. Instead of living in the penthouse, she has to move down to the 3rd floor. In order to support herself, Dana goes to work for the non-profit Rise Again Warrior. This book covers the problems of drug addiction and homelessness in the veterans of our nation and contains plenty of romance. Very highly recommended.

An emotional love and life story. Guilt is a heavy weight to carry and can bring you down. Most veterans are homeless and struggling. Hlw can socialite Dana help Derek gain his life again? RAW will help them both find love, faith and happiness again.
A great story. Truly inspiring. Dana and Derek are delightful. The growth which Dana undergoes is phenomenal as is the recovery which Derek attains. The style, bouncing back and forth between the two main characters, worked for the most part, however there was occasionally a bit too much repetition. The story falls short of an HEA, but has superb potential so, nonetheless, I feel it’s a great story.
I received a review copy of this book from a third party. This is my honest review.
I really enjoyed Dana and Derek’s story.
It was a heart-warming story with great characters who help each other through tough times.

I am really enjoying the Rise Again Warrior series. “Accept” is just as powerful of a story as the first book in the series and I love that Ms. Eaton is writing a series that helps educate the general population about our veterans while also entertaining us with a well-written love story.
This book left me thinking long after I finished and I look forward to the next book in the series.
This series is a great addition to your book collection.
Happy Reading…enjoy!
Talk about a gut check! Even though I’ve never lived a privileged life as the h in this book, I am guilty of sometimes not really seeing the homeless and being empathetic to whatever they may be experiencing.
I enjoyed book 1 but this story moved me. We take for granted the sacrifices made by our service members and their families for the freedoms that we enjoy. This book delves into this and gives us the POV of a rich heiress and that of a homeless vet, who is running from his demons. It is well developed and well written. This is a great series that I highly recommend…just keep a box of tissues at hand.
So many veterans homeless, this book tells the story of one. While fiction, it tells what so many of our men and women go through when they come home after serving our country. is real. And of course it’s a romance. It pulls you in from the first page and I didn’t want to put it down. While continuing the story line from the first book of Rise Again Warrior organization, it can be read as a stand alone. Well written and edited, this will stay on my Kindle for a re-read in the future. Can’t wait for the next one!
Another terrific book in this series that kept me totally glued to my kindle from the very beginning! This outstanding story had a great plot that was well planned and characters that were created with detail and depth that I remained totally engaged until the turn of the very last page!
Being and Army Vet, I’ve never faught in a war, but had friends who did during the Viet Nam Era. I’ve seen what war can do to men and what they lose to a war. I’m glad to read a story like this where the men are honored and respected for what they went thru and willing to be them purpose and peace. HEA.
Mission: Accept is the second book in Stacy Eaton’s Rise Again Warrior series and another fast-paced, action packed and profoundly emotional story that delves deeply into the lives of those who protect and serve their country and the ramifications of that service and the physical and psychological fall out when they return home. It’s important to read these stories in order as each flows into the next and the continuity of the foundation is paramount for full understanding. Dana and Derek are from completely different walks of life and at first, it’s hard to fathom they could possibly have a future, but as Dana interacts with the veterans she finally realises that not everyone is born with a silver spoon and the men and women who serve their countries are far too often disguarded and treated with contempt. Ms Eaton writes powerful and exceedingly raw stories that highlight the failings of those who shun the needy and the veterans who have given everything for our way of life. Many tissues are needed when reading these stories, but they have important messages that we all should acknowledge. As much as these books rip apart my heart and soul, I’m eager to read the next in the series.

This series is one that I highly recommend, another heart pounding, emotional story that kept me turning pages. Dana Donahue at first was a spoilt woman, I was happy to see her come into her own. Derek Stall has so much to overcome from his service days. I enjoyed seeing their story come together. This is the second book in the Rise Again Warrior Series which is well written with a very good storyline the story flowed smoothly across the pages. look beyond the surface can yield surprises
Overall 4 out of 5 stars
Performance 3 out of 5 stars
Story 4 out of 5 stars
Clean contemporary romance with heart and real life. Dana and Shane are in for a meeting that neither will forget. Dana now cut off from the family money in bulk. She has to work for the first time in her life. This pampered princess was over thirty and never had a job of means. Shane a veteran with horrors in his mind that cannot be easily forgotten or forgiven. They both have to confront their life head on. Maybe it won’t be so bad if they can find a way together.
I for the most part enjoy Ryan Clark and his narration except for the feminine aspect. As with the first installment I got lost in his voice and it was hard to keep up with which POV was being presented or should I say heard. I missed the feminine tones and pitches.
This is book two in The Rise Again Warrior Series and it is Dana and Derek’s story and omg what an emotional ride this book will take you on. Derek used to be a navy seal but when a mission went wrong he decided to leave and that has left him on the streets trying to make amends for what happened and that is where he meets the women that he can’t stop thinking about even though he knows that nothing will ever come of it. Dana was from high society, she is a snob, spoilt, vain and took life for granted so when her parents cut all her money off and told her to get a job she was outraged as she had never worked in her life but she decided to go and ask her cousin Shane for a job as he owned and ran The Rise Again Warrior or RAW as.it was known as which helped veterans get help and improve there lives. Dana and Derek meet in the park where he is sleeping and Dana starts taking food to Derek who then surprises her by giving some of it to other homeless people and this forms a friendship between them but it is a very difficult one as Derek doesn’t think that he deserves anything in life after what he had done but as Dana gets more into her job she realised that she wants to help more than she already has. When Derek goes to Dana’s and when she is attacked he is stabbed so she takes him to RAW so he can be taken care of but he doesn’t stay as he has a final mission to do. I can’t wait to read the next book in this amazing series as Stacy Eaton certainly knows how to keep her reader’s attention as this book grabs you right from the first page and to the last and I couldn’t put it down as it was so addictive and I had to keep turning the pages to see what would happen and and there are many twists and turns along with emotional situations that you will not see coming. I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by Stacy and you will definitely not be disappointed.

This review is for the audiobook version.
Ms. Eaton has another winner here. This second book of the series shows someone finally realizing her life is more than just about her. Dana slowly changes both her attitude and her life. The right person came along at just the right moment. I didn’t like her at first and even rolled my eyes when she opened her mouth. Derek is a man you would probably cross the street so you didn’t have to walk by him. You would probably turn your nose up coming up with your own reason as to why he is as he is. Would you shake his hand? Would you talk to him? Would you even offer a helping hand?
This story may bring a tear to your eye as you listen to what Derek had to endure because of what he did for us. His story was as meaningful as Shane’s. It was also just as inspirational. Our author shows that we need to help people just for the sake of lending a hand to a group that has a meaningful purpose. She also shows that you may not think you have any skills to help an organization but certain jobs you can learn as you go. It’s also a great way to say thank you for everything some of us take for granted.
I was happy to see that Mr. Clark returned to narrate again for Ms. Eaton. He did a great job with the male characters and brought them all to life. He also made it very easy for me to picture every scene as it played out. He does an all right job with the women.
This was another book that I had no trouble getting lost in that had me forgetting what I was doing. Both the narrator and author have me impatiently waiting for book three in this series to come out. I know I could just buy the book and read it myself but I want the narrator to bring the author’s words to life because there’s no way that I can do that.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
I really enjoyed this story. It started out a little confusing and I didn’t see how they could even think about a relationship. Dana grew from the self-centered creature she was before her father cut her off to the self aware person that she became. Derek already self aware, but on a mission he was having a hard time accepting. It’s the reason that he is living on the streets. This story makes you aware of the actual living conditions and what the homeless actually do to survive. It’s the reason why they can’t accept help and the reason why we can’t understand. What Rise Again Warrior does for the veteran homeless goes well beyond other services do. The story is excellent and makes Derek face his mission and what he wants in his life.
Beautifully Written & Told Gripping & Heartfelt!
Mission: Accept
Rise Again Warrior Series, Book 2

Series: Rise Again Warrior Series, Book 2
Stacy Eaton delivers another awesome novel in her “Rise Again Warrior” series, a series I am loving, not only are the stories and characters amazing but the books contain so much heart and brings out my patriotic pride and respect for those who served and sacrificed so much for our beloved country. I recommend starting with the first book in the series “Mission: Believe” it sets the foundation for the concept of “Rise Again Warrior” a non-profit organization and program to help returning soldiers acclimate back to civilian life. This book is Derek Stall and Dana Donahues story, Derek, a former Navy Seal, has not had the easiest of times, he deals with memories of a mission gone wrong and haunting guilt. He lives on the streets, surviving day by day. Dana Donahue is a spoiled, prima donna who lives off of her families’ wealth, she has no responsibilities, that is until her parents cut her off to teach her a lesson. She is on the phone with her father while sitting on a park bench trying to change his mind, Derek was asleep under the bench and heard the whole conversation. Two people living two very different lives meet and start talking, it was an eye opener for her but there was something about Derek that go to her, she just did not know it at the time. She goes to to see her cousin Shane Logan about a job and gets hired to work along side, Nate. This book is raw and real, the story is brilliantly plotted and I loved how it all plays out. I also loved how clueless Dana was at first and how much she grew as a person by the end. The same for Derek, with the help of others he learns to live again and see things in a different light, copes with his PTSD and survivor’s guilt. Stacy Eaton, thank you for another amazing novel, it is a story I can not praise or recommend enough.
I listened to the Audible edition, Ryan Clark is the perfect narrator to bring Stacey Eaton’s characters and story to life. You could hear how much heart he puts into his work as he captures the character emotions and projects them into his performance. His portrayal of the characters is spot on as he truly grasps each of their personas and makes the role his own. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. I loved touching performance at the end too. Thank you for another awesome listen
Mission: Accept
Rise Again Warrior Series, Book 2
By: Stacy Eaton

Stacy Eaton is one of my favorite authors and her audio books are top notch! This story grabbed me from the first line and I could not stop until the last word. Her awareness to details bring out the difficulties and emotional health of our veterans, and I absolutely love that. Meeting Derek, we find a veteran who has chosen to be homeless as he tries to work through his experiences. Dana encounters him on the street the day she is cut off by her father and is forced to learn to be an adult. Little do these two know the impact of giving him a pastry will make on their lives. Circumstances bring these two together on more than one occasion, and her ocean eyes begin to cloud his dreams. And who would think this homeless, scruffy man would be attractive to her? But it’s so much more than their budding romance. It’s learning the value of life, the sacrifices people make, the compassion you have for others, things are not always as they seem and you never know the real person by looking at them. It’s a fantastic listen, one that has impacted me and I am anxiously awaiting Mission: Repair!
Ryan Clark continues his narration of this series, and he has a knack for these types of characters. He understands Derek so well that his narration exudes all the emotional turmoil that is going on in Derek, just with his voice. I really was impressed with his portrayal of Derek. As Dana, he showed her maturity and growth with nuances and inflections that let us feel the change in her. It was a great listen and one everyone should grab!
