Aiden Samuels is the most mysterious and sexy man I’ve ever met – and he’s my new boss.
He’s given me a second chance and now it’s up to me not to blow it. No matter how much I may want to trust him with my secrets, I can’t afford to let him in.
He can’t discover the truth.
No matter what the cost.
Chloe Mattson is the most disarming and intriguing woman I’ve ever met – and she’s my new … and she’s my new assistant.
She’s brought light into my dark life, but she’s much too innocent for me. I need discipline and control to keep her at arms-length, but I can’t resist helping her, even when she insists she doesn’t need it. No matter how much I desire her, Chloe is off-limits.
Growing closer may prove complicated.
Staying away may prove impossible.
Full Length Standalone book with no cliffhanger. Second book of the “Miss Series”.
Miss Typed is for mature audiences due to steamy bedroom scenes that are in no way contained to just the bedroom.

I love Aubrey Bondurant’s books, and I’ve read them all. She describes her writing style as adult contemporary erotic romantic comedy—think smutty chick-lit—but whatever she calls it, trust that her stories will be engaging, smart and witty. Her writing always pulls me right in with a sexy love story, relatable characters and charming details. Aubrey Bondurant is a not-to-be-missed indie author that contemporary romance readers need to have on their TBRs.
No surprise that I’m totally hooked on Aubrey Bondurant’s latest series, the Miss series. Workplace romances are a favorite trope of mine, and Aubrey does them really well. A wounded war veteran struggling to find his footing both professionally and personally, Aiden Samuels is a no-nonsense kind of guy. Former military, he’s distractingly handsome but oh-so-serious. Chloe Mattson was struggling with a full plate of obligations, but she couldn’t help but take notice of her gorgeous yet broody and intense new boss. Chloe was beautiful, smart and professional, and it was that whole package, plus her endearing verbal stumbles, that got Aiden’s attention. They both tried hard to ignore the attraction blazing between them, but it was Aiden’s reasons for fighting his feelings that really broke my heart.
Chloe has secrets, and Aiden wants to know what they are. As Chloe gets little glimpses of the man beneath the stoic front, Aiden isn’t sure what to do with the fact that she was able to see beyond his outward appearance to the vulnerable man underneath. Despite their attempts to keep things professional, the chemistry between them sizzles, and a pull neither one of them had ever experienced has them to crossing lines.
Miss Typed grabbed my attention from the first page with an addictive romance between a tortured, alpha-male military hero and a strong, sassy woman guiding him to love. I can’t wait for the next book in this series! Five smooches from me for Miss Typed by Aubrey Bondurant!

Miss Typed by Aubrey Bondurant is book Two in the Miss Series. This is the story of Chloe Mattson and Aiden Samuels. I have read the previous book, but feel this can be a standalone book if you wish to do so. Chloe is a sweet, loving family oriented person who tries to do all she can for her family but she is also funny. Aiden is a former Marine who is also amputee who is now working in a office. Aiden comes up somewhat distant but Chloe has a way about her that sees past some of his attitude.
There is a intimidate attraction but of course there are things come into play that they have to work past. I really enjoyed this book and hope to read more from this author soon.
Chloe has taken a contract in the UAE for a year. She needs money and will do whatever she can to make it fast. Aiden is her new boss and he seems perfect, no chit chat and no personal info exchanged. Unfortunately their attraction may complicate things.
I have read a few books by Aubrey and loved them all so far. She doesn’t shy away from giving her characters a tough life. I love that she makes them strong enough to overcome what life has thrown at them. We get references to everyone from book 1 but this book can be read totally as a standalone. Aiden and Chloe are wonderful and their best friends are wonderful too. I can’t wait for book 3!
Aubrey Bondurant is an automatic one-click author for me. I know I’m going to get a well-written story with plenty of emotion, with all the feels & tingles I love. Miss Typed is a perfect example of this.
Aiden Samuels is a former Marine, now working behind a desk. His insecurities and vulnerabilities are the reason he’s so reserved and why he’s got zero time for chit chat. And that just makes him all the more attractive to me. Broody, aloof, growly…yes please.
Chloe is one of those heroines you can’t help but fall for immediately. Her adorable quirkiness and inexperience makes her real and lovable. She is also sassy when she needs to be and loves big.
The chemistry between these two was off the charts and full of sparks. I need to mention the wine tasting lesson…lordy, the sexual tension was thick and strong and HOT. Even I was turned on.
This story was full of so much heart! When I think back to some scenes, my heart flutters a bit and I swear I get little hearts in my eyes. So many times I just wanted to reach into the pages and give Aiden a big ol’ hug, or give Chloe a reassuring squeeze.
Not only did this story have heart, it also had adorably witty banter. I found myself smiling often, even giggling sometimes, and getting warm fuzzies while reading Chloe & Aiden’s interactions.
In addition to heart and humor, this story had romance. Yes, it had delicious, steamy times, too. But the romance… *swoon*… the love and adoration between the h/H was sweet and endearing and written so well I could feel it.
I loved, loved, loved this office romance and highly recommend it! If you’ve read and loved the first book (Miss Understanding), I’m confident you’ll love this one, too. If you haven’t read book one, no worries, this can be read as a stand-alone. Enjoy!
Cannot wait for the next book in the series!!!
Aubrey knocks it out of the park once again with a story of both self-acceptance and resilience. Chloe has responsibilities thrust upon her that no young woman should ever have to deal with. While she is generally trying to be a strong, assertive woman, she also finds herself backing down when faced with adversity…be it with her family or her work. She WILL however do whatever it takes to dig herself out. Aiden is her second chance and her only chance to keep working to provide for her family. He has demons of his own and does what he has to in order to remain detached. No Chit-chat, no personal conversations. He finds himself drawn to Chloe but he also can’t allow himself to get involved. These two are in for a whirlwind friendship and relationship that neither may be ready for.
Book two in Aubrey Bondurant’s Miss Series, Miss Typed is another office romance, this time set in Dubai and with assistant (and stripper), Chloe Mattson, and boss, Aiden Samuels. Chloe has a habit of saying the wrong thing but when she types the wrong thing is when **** hits the fan and she is relocated to Aiden’s office. Aiden is a former soldier who has taken a job with the company when a roadside bomb takes his military career away and he doesn’t know what else to do with himself.
I always enjoy a Bondurant book because it is always a good balance between humor and heat, as well as a nice touch of seriousness. Aubrey has a deft touch for taking characters and giving them just a bit “more” to make them interesting to read but real enough to be relatable. Chloe is working hard in Dubai, far from her Toronto home because she is helping her family get out from under a loan shark debt her brother accrued. This means that she not only works 9-5 in the office but at an illegal strip club. She is a fun character with her tendency to stick her foot in her mouth, but still smart, capable, loyal and hardworking. Aiden is a broken soldier for whom a tragedy threw all his well-laid plans to the wind, shaken him to the core and has yet to truly find his center. The chemistry between the two is full of sparks that neither fight for long.
A really good office romance with a page-turning pace, laughs, and a happily ever after. What more can you ask from a romance?
OH! MY! LUCKY STARS!! MISS TYPED by Aubrey Bondurant was SPEECHLESS!! ABSOLUTELY SPEECHLESS!!
Right from the very start, I COULD NOT not put it DOWN & DEVOURED IT!!!
Chloe had my laughing out loud and cringing at the same time!!
And Don’t get me started on Aidan…Such a Overbearing Alpha Male but with a softer under belly once exposed.
Chloe gets a second chance interview with Aidan for his assistant which actually worked in her favor since her first boss fired her after her mistyped message.
There were rules HE set down but Eventually threw out the course of her contract…lines got blurred when they both felt a invisible pull towards each other.
MISSED TYPED is BEAUTIFUL WRITTEN and reminds you that LOVE is Totally Blind No Matter What!!
DEFINITELY a MUST Read BOOK and if you Haven’t Read Aubrey Bondurant…What Are You Waiting For!!
I enjoyed Chloe and Aiden’s romance. These two were very likable and I thought relatable. These are complex characters that each had their own issues, burdens and troubles that added a genuine feel to them. The story was engaging and kept my attention with a well crafted combination of drama, emotion, humor, heat and romance. The cast of secondary characters provide intriguing opportunities for more books in this series that I would definitely love to read. While this is the second book in this series it is a standalone read so you can totally feel free to jump right in. This is my elective, truthful review.
5 star Review Miss Typed (Miss Series #2) by Aubrey Bondurant
This is the second book in her latest series and was just as entertaining as the first one.
Aiden Samuels, I fell for him so hard, there really is something about a hot, intense, broody man that really draws me to him. Also as a veteran with special needs he intrigued me. Chloe Mattson, on the other hand, is laid back and takes most things in stride. He is determined to ignore the attraction that sizzles between him and his assistant and yet despite himself he finds it increasingly difficult.
The chemistry between Aiden and Chloe is intense right from the start and it only increased as the story progressed. I really was cheering for these two to get their happily ever after. However can two people brought up so differently have anything in common?
There was so much for Aiden to overcome and yet he did and that glimpse of determination to adapt to his new life certainly shone through. I loved how Chloe was able to look beneath the surface to the vulnerable man beneath and I think I fell for her almost as much as Aiden did.
Miss Typed was a great read. There were moments of humour that brought a smile to my face and yet there was some drama sprinkled throughout the story which made the story entertaining.
This is a well written, heart warming love story which was had me captivated from the first to the last page.
Where to begin on how I feel about this book. Honestly I don’t think there is anything I can say or rather write that would truly give this book justice. Aiden is a veteran and on top of that he is an amputee veteran and I honestly feel like this author could not have displayed his character any better. His feelings, his brokenness for lack of a better word was so real. He was so real. This wasn’t a fluff piece. I felt like the author really expressed how I would imagine a lot of amputee vets feel. Then there was Chloe and she was the perfect person to be the heroine for this hero. They had issues. Real issues. Together and separately and I really appreciate when an author doesn’t make the characters perfect. People have flaws and in this type of story those flaws need to be showcased. All in all I loved this book so much and I can not wait for what I hope is going to be Reid’s book next.

LOVED IT!! Do I need to say anything else? I can’t get enough of these books! A somewhat tortured alpha hero? Check! Check! Check! Aiden is smoking hot, I just know it! I love Chloe and could totally see me saying some of the things that she does! This book has it all!
Gah!!! Oh man! Aiden and Chloe!! YES!!! They were all the things! I really feel like Aiden took brooding to another level, and Chloe was just so laid back and totally chill that it was driving him insane . Love it! Love them! They chemistry that they have right from the beginning is absolutely the kind that 5 star books are made from. THEY HAD IT!!! And his alpha male was great without being too overbearing. I mean…. I didn’t think that it was, but I am sure Chloe would argue that with me…. even though she obviously was attracted to it. And I love how their upbringings are so completely opposite, but they still seem to share the same values! Same ideas! Same passion! I legit love these 2 so so so much! Ooooooh! I can not wait to see more glimpses of them later on! 5 easy stars! And I really loved some of the nostalgia that Aubrey brought into the story that totally had me reminiscing about my younger years!
Aiden Samuels wants to get back to his life as a Marine but that is not possible after losing his leg in war. Now he is doing a job he is good at but it doesn’t thrill him, but now he is looking at his potential new assistant Chloe Mattson first though he needs to see if she tells the truth at why she was just fired by her boss.
Chloe needs this job, she has her family needing the money she is earning to help them at home after her loser brother got them in trouble. Chloe decides to go the honest trick with Aiden, Aiden agrees to have her as an assistant as long as she follows certain rules, no chit chat, no personal shares and to stay out of his office unless asked.
It doesn’t take long until Chloe is sharing tidbits about her life and chit chatting, but the person initiating this is Aiden. Aiden wants Chloe but he is insecure believing a woman could possibly want him with half a leg. He underestimates Chloe though and what happens when he gets a call for a job he actually want leaving Chloe behind?
This was good, I liked this one quite a bit but think the first book was a bit better. The chemistry between Aubrey and Aiden is sizzling. I enjoyed Aiden and how he was so set on the rules and he abolishes each and every one. Great read.
Wow! Not sure anything else I say will do it justice. I absolutely love this book. Aubrey is a genius and hit this one right on the head. I didn’t put it down once (good thing it was my day off).
5 Stars
Miss Typed by Aubrey Bondurant is the second book in the Miss series and it can be read as a stand-alone. It was seriously AMAZING! It was so amazing that I don’t even know where to begin. This story was so unexpected. It was full of emotions and the chemistry between the characters that was off the charts incredible.
I loved Chloe and Aiden so freakin’ much. Both were such fantastic characters-they were seriously everything. The attraction between the two was smoking hot that you could feel it coming through the pages. Watching the story unfold the way it did was pure magic. Ms. Bondurant is such a remarkable storyteller and her imagination is pure perfection. This was my favorite quote-
“And it’s okay to be scared. Because I’m scared, too. It’s what love is. Terrified hope and belief in another person without any guarantee they may feel the same way.”
This book was so good and I highly recommend reading it!
If prince charming has a tarnish armor will the fairy tale have a happy ending? “Miss Typed” is the second book in Aubrey Bondurant’s Miss series. This book may be read as a standalone but I definitely recommend reading book one “Miss Understanding” first because characters are crossing their paths. And let’s face it Aubrey’s writing will pull you into her books instantly.
Chloe Mattson doesn’t have a lot of options so it shouldn’t be surprising that she works two jobs in Dubai far away from her home. When her last job turns to be a disaster she ends up taking a second chance at working for an enigmatic Aiden Samuels. She knew that it may be hard especially that she have some problem with keeping some thoughts to herself. Aiden on the other hand basically forgot how to smile. He had to retire from the military and office job for him is last circle of hell. And since his two previous assistants just quit Chloe would be third. Bus as they say three is a charm. Or maybe isn’t? He is smitten by the beautiful woman even with her awkwardness and she definitely may stay if and only than if she will adhere to his no personal clause. And he shoot himself with said clause in his kneecap because he is the person who breaks his rules of not getting involved in the personal business. Chloe got secrets and her overall innocence and goodness of heart are more and more appealing to the man with damaged heart and soul. Will their fairy tale will end with hea? If you want to know you need to read this book.
This story is perfect for readers that want to read smart modern day romance with not a lot angst but definitely a lot of humor and full of enjoyment. Definitely book worth reading.
There are some authors that you absolutely love so much. This is one of them. She continuously gets better with each book and keeps me sucked into her world much longer than after I finish her books. She definitely has a way with words that will amaze and astound you.
These 2 have many secrets between them. They are scared and hard hearted towards anything in the love department. It is an office romance so that cannot happen in close quarters. Together, they navigate a course of love and frustration, that in the end pays off. When you put a strong willed woman, with a broken man, you get a story that makes you fall in love all over again.
A great read for romance readers!!
Such a funny and emotional story! I loved Aiden and Chloe’s story so much. When we met Chloe in Miss Understanding I was hoping to get to know her story. This was such an amazing love story. Strong women are my favorite and I like the fact that she fights for what she believes in and what she wants. Aiden needed that and I loved seeing him realize that.
Miss Typed is book two in the Miss Series ( you don’t have to read the first book Miss Understanding to enjoy this one), Miss Typed is with Chloe which we met in the last book. Chloe has her own issue with her boss. Aiden is an alpha male that is ex-military that has been injured and has not yet been able to get passed that. Men and women he feels are all out for themselves and they use him and his money to get it so he is better off alone and his injury is just another reason to stay that way.
Chloe is so dang sweet and innocent. She has no reason to use anyone in her life. Her family is already doing that to her. Chloe is doing everything in her power to take care of everyone and nothing for herself. When Aiden finds out his assistant is up to he decides to finally take care of someone himself, without regard for himself for the first time in a very long time.
Again Aubrey brings a romance to life with a growing relationship that doesn’t force the issue but gives these characters the time to grow and learn each other. Which gives for a wonderful read.

REVIEW
Miss Typed is the second book in the Miss series. Aiden is the boss, and Chloe is his assistant. He is a veteran as well as an amputee, and that is a lot to deal with alone. Chloe works this job and another at night because her family is in serious money trouble, and this is so much responsibility on one person. It’s just a matter of time before the chemistry ignites a spark between Aiden and Chloe. As a relationship builds, they help each other with these heavy burdens. Aiden is brooding and stoic, but Chloe is sassy and light. They balance out well together, and the story is well done. I was intrigued from the start and enjoyed reading the story.
