Aiden Samuels is the most mysterious and sexy man I’ve ever met – and he’s my new boss.
He’s given me a second chance and now it’s up to me not to blow it. No matter how much I may want to trust him with my secrets, I can’t afford to let him in.
He can’t discover the truth.
No matter what the cost.
Chloe Mattson is the most disarming and intriguing woman I’ve ever met – and she’s my new … and she’s my new assistant.
She’s brought light into my dark life, but she’s much too innocent for me. I need discipline and control to keep her at arms-length, but I can’t resist helping her, even when she insists she doesn’t need it. No matter how much I desire her, Chloe is off-limits.
Growing closer may prove complicated.
Staying away may prove impossible.
Full Length Standalone book with no cliffhanger. Second book of the “Miss Series”.
Miss Typed is for mature audiences due to steamy bedroom scenes that are in no way contained to just the bedroom.

Chloe and Aiden are fantastic main characters.
Their first meet is hysterical-how to explain in an interview why you got fired so you actually get hired.
Second chances are for more than just relationships. When Aiden gives Chloe hers it’s the start of something amazing.
I have not read many of Aubreys books but all that I’ve read I’ve loved.
What an incredible heart felt and humorous read. I loved this story and the characters and all the tension, humor and sizzling heat between them. Adian’s background is a story all in itself and I loved his transformation throughout the story. My heart broke for Chloe and her family story and I admired her for all she was doing.
This story really was a breath of fresh to read
Read this book in one sitting and loved every bit of it! The silly humor did it for me. And I just loved the connection of these characters. You saw a genuine fondness grow into love for these characters- and the happily ever after was perfect!
A sexy hot fabulous story. Loved it. An amazing read. I swear these books just get better and better. Its very hot, steamy and sexy. A must read xx
Yes, yes….YES! Another great story by Aubrey Bondurant. As with all of her books, once I started I couldn’t put it down.
We briefly meet Chloe in book one in the Miss Series (She is Kendell’s friend) and is leaving for a job in Dubai. In the beginning of the story, Chloe has been fired by her current boss for calling him…lets just say…an inappropriate word for work and she been sent to another department for an interview. Enter…Aiden. He came across a bit stiff/moody in the beginning but soon is showing his softer side, at least towards Chloe. I loved their interactions through the book and those moments where Chloe “means” to say one thing but it comes out twisted sounding more sexual then she intended.
I enjoyed both characters in the book. Chloe’s character, she was dedicated to her family and would do anything to help them out, even do things that made her a bit uncomfortable. Aiden, came from a rich background but wanted to make his own way in the world but is trying to overcome some insecurities and past history. We are introduced to some side characters that have me intrigued and I’m really hoping that Chance’s story will be told.
Overall, another great book! I can’t wait to see what Aubrey has coming up next.
This is my first book that I’ve read from Aubrey and it was amazing. I loved the banter between Aiden and Chloe. Aiden is a wounded Vet who thinks he truly isn’t worth a damn to anyone and Chloe is a woman who has allowed everyone including her former boss to disregard her. When Aiden meets her the sparks are instant. Despite her innocence and his insecurities they forge an agreement. Even though Aiden is determined not to be in a relationship with anyone he wants to be with Chloe. They have a great companionship until he begins to second guess himself and his worthiness to being with Chloe. When his insecurities get the best of him and he pushes her away, will he be given a second chance to show the woman he loves that he can finally be the man she deserves?
This was a great book, the characters were well written about and the flow of the story was good. The support characters give an additional element to the story, it definitely leaves the reader wanting to get into Reid’s story which hopefully will involve Teagan. All in all it was a great book and i can’t wait for the next one. Definitely worth the read!
Behind the stoic façade…
It’s amazing how many of my favourite heroes give the impression of being unemotional and aloof when I first ‘meet’ them. Mr Darcy was my first love when it came to the stoic façade, but there have been many more since him that I have loved as well. You could almost say I have a soft spot for that type of hero…I may have even married one. I love a man who is tough, powerful and determined on the outside but has vulnerabilities and shows tenderness to those they love.
Aiden is definitely a Mr Darcy of the stoic façade variety. He gives the impression that he’s indifferent to the emotions that swirl around him and hides the pain he constantly lives with. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED AIDEN SAMUELS! I am an absolute sucker for a man with vulnerabilities, especially when they deny those vulnerabilities so ardently.
I really admired Chloe but thought she was an absolute sucker when it came to her family. I am a firm believer that a parent should be the parent and not expect their child to carry the load. Sure, a family should support each other but when there is a lot more taking than giving, I’m not a fan. I’m glad that Chloe, with a little help from Aiden, realised she was being taken advantage of and eventually took control of where her money was being spent. She was glad to help, just not at the expense of her safety and happiness.
One of the reasons why I loved Chloe, was her ability to look beyond what was in front of her. She easily recognised when Aiden was feeling vulnerable and tried to ease his discomfort. Even after they moved their relationship to a romantic one, she must still tiptoe through his insecurities to make him feel accepted. While that might seem negative in a budding relationship, in this case, it’s not. Aiden appreciates the sunshine she brings to his life. Even with Chloe’s outward beauty, she does not gauge a person’s worth on their looks alone. Don’t get me wrong, Aiden is HOT, it’s just that he only sees his faults while she sees his beauty.
Miss Typed is the kind of story that sucks you in from the very first page. Aubrey Bondurant has created engaging characters, a storyline that made it hard for me to put my Kindle down, and a love story that had my heart fluttering. While there are a few bumps along the way, I never doubted that this couple were meant for each other and destined for a happy ever after. Their chemistry jumped off the pages and I loved their playful interactions.
This is not the kind of story that is based on pure fluff. Both Chloe and Aiden are carrying around some heavy loads and I loved that they both wanted to ease each others load. Aiden pushes Chloe away because he wants better for her but thankfully Chloe wanted better for herself too. This was a wee bit refreshing and I loved that she didn’t beg for crumbs and put up with his rubbish. Aiden needed to find his own way, and Chloe had to let him.
Every time I receive an advanced copy of Aubrey Bondurant’s stories, I’m convinced that this is the best she’s ever written. Well again, Miss Typed is the best…since her last story. I laughed, sighed, sniffled and squirmed throughout but I also felt frustration, anger and resentment too. The range of emotions I felt was vast but it never went OTT or made me want to give up on them. I love the Miss series and I can’t wait for #3, Miss Belief. I’m sure it will be Miss Bondurant’s best.
Now, with all of this talk of Mr Darcy, I need my Pride and Prejudice fix…again. The BBC version is my favourite because Colin Firth’s Mr Darcy has the BEST stoic facade.
Stacey is Sassy, received an advanced copy of this story. The copy provided is not the final copy and may be subject to edits and changes.
I received a complimentary ARC – early release copy of this book in Kindle format from the author for review purposes.
This is book 2 in the series but its about workplace romance and does not have a big connection to the first book at all. It stars Kendall from the first books, ex roomie, Chloe and in the first book we see her go to Dubai for work and in this book we see what happens.
It takes place in Dubai mostly as that is where the company that both characters work for is. And then moves to Canada and then back to Dubai and then the finally scenes happen in Los Angeles.
Aiden is the grumpy, ex military boss and Chloe is the 22 year old Canadian who gets the job with him. She is also in Dubai to earn a lot of money fast as she is in debt to a loan shark. Aiden tries to resist her but she is young, sexy and she is in a lot of trouble and he wants to save her.
Aiden is troubled as well. He is an ex marine who lost part of his leg and he feels very lost and alone and not sure what to do with the rets of his life. His best friend Reid hired him in Dubai and so he has a job but not one he loves and Chloe represents someone he can help save and he cannot resist being her hero.
While young, Chloe is one tough cookie. She doesn’t need a hero, she wants to save herself. But will Aiden let her? You have to read this addicting story to find out.
Miss Typed is book 2 in the Miss Series and I loved this entertaining read as much If not more than book 1. I fell big time for the intense, broody Aiden Samuels and I loved that Chloe Mattson gave him a run for his money by being the total opposite, she is a character who takes everything in her stride.
This is a well written love story that’s heartwarming and entertaining. It was a romance that touched me on so many levels, this couple have so many obstacles to cross before they find their true HEA, there are secrets and trust issues that need to be addressed and Aiden needs to overcome the fear of believing he will never being good enough for any woman if he is ever going to find love.
The chemistry is sizzling and the characters adorable but it was the emotions mixed with just the right amount of humour that made this a great read for me. I was captivated by this couples journey and there was putting down until I had read the final line.
I highly recommend this romance and Im looking forward to book 3
