Good “cozy” read
This is a fun book to read. I love cozys because they usually contain a bit of the supernatural and this one does not disappoint. Amelia has a very hard day. Her boyfriend breaks up with her after she cooks for him and he has to go to the hospital. To say the least, she can’t cook. Then, she loses her job and her landlord kicks her out of her apartment. And then, she inherits a house and a bakery from an aunt she hardly remembers. The house has a mind of it’s own. So, then, the fun ensues.. Read this book for a good bit of entertainment.
I enjoyed the characters in the story. Very different and enjoyable.

I usually don’t read books about witches but this one was great!! I laughed so much and I really loved her House!! that was a twist I honestly didn’t expect!! I am looking forward to more books from this author!!!
Amelia is having a terrible day: her boyfriend dumped her, she got fired from her job, and the landlord evicted her. She dreaded opening the second envelope in her mail, but the letter informed her that Amelia had inherited a house and business from an aunt she had never met. The business turns out to be a bakery, and Amelia can’t cook without the oven exploding or someone coming down with food poisoning. Of course things follow a predictable path when a customer drops dead after taking a bite of a cupcake and Amelia and her friends decide to investigate after the bakery loses all its customers. Overall, the book is a charming and fun read with a new twist on kitchen witches.
Very sweet and innocent but fun. A good feeling and gentle comfort story
