Miss Polly had a dolly. A beautiful daughter that she called her Baby Doll. Every day she dressed her in dresses and brushed her hair before they went outside to show off to the neighbors. On the playground one day her Baby Doll talked to a boy, and for one unforgivable second, Miss Polly let herself be distracted by a woman telling her how adorable she thought her daughter was. When Miss Polly … Polly finally turned to look for her Baby Doll again, she was gone.
Many years later Emma Frost hears about the disappearance of the little girl and learns that she is not the only one to have gone missing from Fanoe Island back in the nineties. As she digs deeper into the story, she soon finds herself entangled in a web of strange and very disturbing events.
Miss Polly had a dolly is a spine-chilling Scandinavian mystery novel from the Internationally Bestselling author Willow Rose.

Don’t start reading this book if you have someplace you have to be. It was very hard to put down and even though I’m a slow reader, I read it practically in one sitting, only stopping to prepare dinner and get ready for bed. The sexual abuse is graphic but I believe it helps the reader understand why other things happen.
The Emma Frost series …
Miss Polly had a Dolly (Emma Frost #2) was another good read by Willow Rose. Miss Polly had a beautiful daughter that she called Baby Doll. Everyday, she brushed her hair and put her in dresses before showing her off outside to the neighbor’s. One day on the playground her Baby Doll talked to a boy and was distracted by a woman that said she …
I enjoyed the book even though it was very sad at times. The premise was well written and the story easy to follow.
Keep me reading and not putting it down. A good page turner for for me!
I love Willow Rose,s Book,s I have most of her books They are real page turner,s
Loved the book. Love all of Willows books. They grab you and you can’t let go..
Even the normal family scenes couldn’t save this one. I love a mystery and a suspense novel, but this one is just abhorrent, depraved, and offensive. There’s more than enough reviews telling the storyline on this novel, so this review is submitted only in reference to subject matter.
Miss Polly Had a Dolly focuses on the disappearance of …
Very scary. Keeps you alert.
Love Willow Rose’s series
Loved it! The chilling and eerie possibility of the story. It’s what gets me with her stories. Every time. You know that there’s grains of truth woven in. That people out there are horrible enough to kidnap children. And horrifying depths a broken parent can reach if that was your child. How that single event can ripple outward and take on a …
The book was definitely a page turner and I will read more of Willow Rose’s work. However, some of the events are unbelievable. An adolescent girl who had been deprived of ordinary learning experiences cannot grab a gun and accurately shoot several people. I’m a 60 year old female avid hunter and gun enthusiast with a conceal/carry permit and I …
Kept me on my toes. Read it straight through!
I’m finding I love everything Willow Rose writes. Have read almost the whole Emma Frost series and greatly enjoyed each one!
