Meet Hilary Watts: pretty, straight A-student, teachers’ pet, goody two-shoes, totally has it all together—and has never been kissed, or even had a boyfriend for that matter.Meet Grayson Dymicks: badarse persona, new guy in school, just moved in next door, volatile—and a total jerk. When Hilary finds herself attracted to the very person she shouldn’t be, she never imagines all her well-placed … shouldn’t be, she never imagines all her well-placed Jenga blocks will come crashing down—or that her first ever kiss will be with a boy every girl in school wants for themselves.
Hilary’s life is turned upside down and she realises she’s not as put together as she thought. Instead, she’s as totally messed up as all the other teenage girls her age—but is this a romance destined for a happily ever after or a broken heart?

Such a sweet YA romance. I loved Grayson, loved that this entire story was from Hilary’s pov. It was a quick read and captured my attention and heart from beginning to end.
Miss Not Together is a good YA story.
Hillary is a great girl with a life plan.
She has set a path for herself and she’s following it and won’t let anything deter her.
That is until Grayson.
Hillary’s life now takes a turn she didn’t not only plan on but didn’t see coming.
We get to witness the joy and awkwardness and everything in between of being in love for the first time.
Ms. Brooks does a fantastic job writing about the pain and joy of this hard time for teens.
She has does it with humor and sarcasm along with the serious side of this matter.
I really enjoyed Hillary and Grayson’s story.
It took me back in time.
When Miss Goody-Two-Shoes goes bad. A fun YA read.
Hillary Watts is such a good two-shoes, the likes of which I have never seen in my life!!! She has high-powered plans for the future, and to achieve those, her life is a series of plans as she moves from one carefully chosen event to the next. No time for backchat, boyfriends or rebellion. And remember, the definition of rebellion to a teenager is subjective. What seems excessive behaviour to Hillary and her friend Freddy, also on his way to the top, is normal behaviour to most kids!
Grayson Dymicks has been at her school for seven weeks, and her carefully ordered life goes tits up, just like that! Even worse, is that she has new neighbours, and its him! He is such a neat and honest kid, even if he’s put the skids on Hillary’s plans! I just loved him.
This is a YA read that is quick and fun. Even though I usually avoid YA like the plague, I did enjoy it, and am going to grab a paperback copy for my daughter. 4 Stars.
Such a heartwarming story. Being a teenager isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, especially when a boy crosses your path that you just can’t seem to avoid. Lessons are learned, sometimes the hard way. This took me back to my high school days. Great story. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book
I love this author’s books, but not a reader of YA books usually but this book was enjoyable. The awkward high school years, fitting in and trying to be the best you ,you can be,1st kiss,1st dance ,puberty and the girl to woman….phase!! The good and the bad memories. A little light fast paced read is sometimes just the read you need!!
I really enjoyed this YA novel. I liked the story between Hillary and Grayson.
Wow! I love…LOVE Belle! She writes books that are refreshing and up beat. Whenever you think you’re in a slump with reading, read one of her books. Even tho I barely ever read “teenage” books, I am so so happy I did. You don’t need to be freaked out in a thriller or read love story after love story to read a great book. This is a book about a girl who thinks she has everything put together in her life and then a boy comes along and tilts her world on it’s axis. It’s exactly what I needed, so carefree, funny book. Thank you for becoming an author! Thank you for writing such exceptional stories! Thank you most of all for just being YOU because with that, I wouldn’t read that magnificent books!!
I loved reading Belle Brooks newest release. I enjoyed following Hilary and Grayson as they humorously navigate through high school drama as well as their developing feeling for one another. I found it a wonderful coming of age story, and worth reading again.
Belle brooks does it again. I love her writing styles, every book is different and targets all book lovers. No matter what genre is your favorite. This story had me giggling so hard, it was sweet, sexy, and full of attitude. I just loved it.
I love this book the storyline is great and well written a high school girl thought her life together but in real life is not as put together as she thought
This lovely, sweet romance took me back to being a teenager, and what a roller-coaster of emotions that could be. I smiled out loud at the story and the characters!! It was witty, sweet and cute…just like young love should be!! I’m in love with Grayson and Hilary and I’m in love with Belle Brooks and her stories. Well done, Belle!!
This book was overall a good read. However, it really was missing something that i can’t quite put my finger on. Belle is such a great writer and i will recommend any of her books to people but I suggest if you have not read anything by her before start with one of her other book’s. Not saying that this one is horrible or anything but if this was a first read for you then you may nit be tempted to read any of her other work and that would just be horrible. I believe she has tremendous talent and if she writes another young adult I do feel she will improve her writing in that genre with more practice.
This y/a coming of age love story, was such a good book. The straight A awkward girl falls for the new a**hole hot guy. This book was cute quirky, and I really enjoyed it.
Miss not Together is a great YA read.
Belle Brooks has once again shown that she can, in fact wrate any genre and write it well.
It’s sweet, funny and wonderfully written.
Well done Ms Brooks, well done.

A very funny book about a teenager, Hillary and her best friend Freddy. They have been best friends for ever as are their fathers. They are both straight A students with their lives all mapped out by them. That was until a new boy started school, Grayson who through a spanner in Hillary’s life. Then to find out that he lives next door too, was just too much for her. Hillary’s hormones decided to take a leap into womanhood and everything she had ever felt, she was second guessing now. Both Hillary and Freddy were very naïve, but the inevitable happens as she starts making mistakes as all young people do. Drink was her first undoing! Hillary was raised mainly by her father who sacrificed his own career for his wife to fulfil her career that takes her all over the world and is hardly ever at home. This is a very amusing story about adolescents finding their way in life. The banter between Hilary and Grayson had me laughing out loud.
This story is a sweet YA story. Hillary and Freddy are best friends as have their life planned out. Grayson a new kid at school Sparks Hilarys interest even though he acts like a jerk!
A great story and great characters. I want more of Tray though!
The story line itself was neat! A few areas seemed a little rushed for my personal taste. I was craving a beefier ending, but, again, that is my personal preference. Overall though, it is funny and enjoyable. My daughter is also reading this now!
Belle Brooks has done it again. This was such an easy and fun loving book that I enjoyed right from the first page. I loved the characters and how easy going they all were especially when they were together.
I loved how awkward Hilary was at times (she really reminded me of myself) and I loved how Grayson just pulled her out of her comfort zone many times. I thought these two characters were great together, not to mention Tray (loved how they first met properly and the surprise) and Freddy (I mean who wouldn’t love a best friend like Freddy!)
The story had a great flow with humour and teenage drama mixed in, which I loved. But I did feel that a couple chapters did finish quite abruptly but I think that was just me being greedy, I so wanted more of Grayson and Hilary!
A great, fun read that I finished in no time.
4.5 stars
Belle Brooks made me love young adult again with this hilarious story. The title and cover are perfect and once you read it, you will understand why. This cast will have you belling laughing and rolling your eyes in a good way from start to finish. The unique twists and turns made this book absolutely adorable. If a girl is lucky enough to have people like Freddy, Grayson, and Tray in her life, she is doing alright.Belle Brooks, I truly believe you can write about any genre and it is sure to be a hit. Thank you for reminding me why it is ok not to have it all so together. Life is so much more fun if you live a little while you chase your dreams. This story is the perfect blend of sarcasm, growing pains, sweet moments, humor and love. Thank you Belle for showcasing the importance of friendship in this book because so many young people don’t have that.’Even one amazing friend can make so much difference in a person’s life. Ms. Brooks this story is so relatable with a fresh spin on teenage life and I really adored this tale.
Miss Not Together is a sweet, funny, YA story about Hilary, a high school girl who has her life all mapped out and has no time for interruptions. That is until she is hit with Grayson, and can’t get away! She finds out that plans change there is more to life then what she originally thought. Her best friend, Freddy is an added bonus to this story, he loves her and supports her always. Everyone needs a Freddy! I highly recommend this book!!!
