3.5 stars. I mostly liked the story. Great premise-the Matchmaker asked to match the guy she likes. I really enjoyed it up about 2/3 of the way. I did think the end was a bit rushed or maybe not flushed out enough resulting in not having the fullness it could have had.
The Epilogue was a no-go for me. Totally changed the good flavor of the book. Not necessarily to bad, but jarring or like it didn’t go with the story. Like when someone adds an extra room on the house and takes no consideration for the style and architecture already present.
Great reading.
Hilarious. Funny. Right on target.
This was a refreshingly original Regency romance. A great diversion from the ordinary Regency tales. Molly was a strong and smart lady. I want to be more like her. I was pleasantly surprised by the story and would read more of this author for sure!
I enjoyed reading Miss Moseley the Matchmaker by Caylen McQueen. The plot is well put together and interesting. Her characters are likable and Ms McQueen was able to encourage the reader to want Miss Moseley to be successful in her quest, and to choose the right man. Well done. I am looking forward to reading more books by this author.
didn’t care for the ending.
Too lightweight
Too short
A very enjoyable read – a different plot.
Did not appeal to me
I enjoyed this book and liked the protagonist.
I found this a bit boring and did not completely finish it.
I liked it so much that I purchased 6 more novellas from this author. The stories are a little cliched & predictable but short reads that satisfy the Regency itch.
Loved the premise. A variant from the normal historical romance….
I found this to be an entertaining, light read. It is no Jane Austin, but it was fun.
Just couldn’t get into it. I did not finish it
Surprise who fell in love with whom. I really enjoyed reading this book.
Slow start –but worth finishing
I didn’t finish the book. Writing is weak and the characters were boring .
The reader can relate if you are always the matchmaker and never the matched. The author has a twist at the end that was surprising.
