With Christmas only three days away, Carol Claus agrees to her father’s request that she leave the North Pole on a mission to help save Christmas. Joining single father Ben Hanson and his children for the holidays seems an easy enough task until Santa informs her that Ben is the man behind the disturbing new book ‘Beyond Bah Humbug: Why Lying to Your Children about Santa Claus is a Bad Idea’.
…
Posing as Miss Kane, the children’s new nanny, Carol pulls out all the stops to show Ben how fun Christmas can be, all the while struggling to understand how one man could hate the holidays so much. How could she, Santa’s only daughter, be so attracted to a man who refuses to believe her father exists?
**Please note – this book was formerly titled ‘Carol’s Christmas’.

This was a great quick Christmas read! I read it in a couple of hours. It was funny, light hearted and romantic! Great for the holidays!
What a delightful and heartwarming story for the Christmas season. I thoroughly enjoyed this quick read. Looking forward to reading more in this series.
like it and kept you wanting to turn the page
I generally don’t read books about santa because I was raised not to believe in the fat man in the red suit. I wasn’t impressed with how miss Mickelson went about trying to have Carol, the daughter of santa, try to convince Ben that her father was real. Allowing the children to eat cookies for breakfast simply because she did. It was a quick and easy read, and if you get upset with children like I was, or adults who go around saying santa isn’t real, this is a perfect book for you.
Miss Kane’s Christmas is a lovely story. North Pole versus the non-believer. The characters are well drawn, the children adorable. Just enough fun and humor to keep it light and of course a happily ever after. A great pick-me-up holiday read! I’ll be reading this one every Christmas.
Light hearted wonderful Christmas story. Puts you in the Christmas mood.
“Miss Kane’s Christmas” by Caroline Mickelson
This is a fun easy read, a holiday romantic comedy that had me wearing my happy face. It somehow got lost in my TBR stash but I am glad it surfaced today. I really needed a light happy read. Happy Reading ! !
Note: This is my honest review.
Lovely story for Christmas.
Ben Hanson is a scrooge and he has already ruined Christmas for his children. He is determined to ruin it for everyone by writing his book.
Santa has just the person for to help Ben get back the festive cheer – Santa’s daughter, Carol.
The story was enjoyable and cute with a romance on the top. Liked it.
Neat little book. In a different reality Ben would have thrown her out of his house and game over. It was cute how she won him over despite himself.
Cute story but realistic also. Frivolent.
What a cute story about a man who doesn’t believe in Christmas and the woman who changes his mind. Short and sweet.
Light, easy read, enjoyable
Cute book. Easy to read… couldn’t put it down!
I thoroughly enjoyed this entertaining, cheery novella. I wondered how the ending might turn out happy and was not disappointed.
I loved it. Just perfect for a late December reading.
I enjoyed this story about Santa’s daughter, Carol Claus aka Kandy Kane being sent to help save Christmas by making a believer out of a man who doesn’t believe in Santa. I had a good laugh at the hero’s expense as Carol literally brings Christmas into his life.
Although, Ben had suffered a tragedy that probably led to him being a grump, I didn’t fully get why he hated Christmas and Santa specifically. He’s in such denial that he finds a way to explain it off when he’s confronted with evidence. Luckily, he comes to his senses soon enough and they all get their happily ever after.
If you’re looking for a short and sweet holidays romance, this might just do the trick.
Too much crammed into a short story. Clever concept.
Fun! I plan to read more.
Just a fun little Christmas story. Thanks for writing it.
