Read the 3rd installment in tyhe New York Times bestselling series about Miss Julia, the proper lady of a certain age with a backbone of iron and perfect Steel Magnolia poise, not to mention the sharpest tongue south of the Mason-Dixon Line. But Miss Julia insists they have a real wedding ceremony and vows to make it happen. When a missing preacher, a crowd of uninvited guests, and a queasy bride threaten the happy event, Miss Julia is there to restore order, confirming her undying motto: if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself!

The Miss Julia books are always wonderful and this one is no different.
I love the character of Miss Julia more with every book. Full of sass and southern charm, she doesn’t let anything stand in her way. Not even a hesitant bride, a heartbroken groom and a miracle image on the building across the street from her house throwing the whole wedding into complete chaos. I loved this book. Ann B. Ross definitely belongs on your keeper shelf.
could have done without the stereotyping of both Black and White southern women
If you like a little call me once in a while this series is for you. All the characters are a hoot. Yet the story it’s fun to read and move right along really good series.
This series is light, fun reading.
Fun read to see how Miss Julia arranges a wedding for friends in one week.
Entertaining characters fun to read.
Typical Miss Julia. She is salty and proper in this third book. I love how, over the series, she grows and softens, but never loses her salt.
This is book 3 in this terrific series. Absolutely delightful characters, Miss Julia is warm, wise, witty and I wish I lived in Abbottsville. Highly recommend.
Fun
No great subject matter but just comical and every book reminds me of an old busy body in my hometown. Stories are so entertaining.
