This was a fantastic but also sad ending to an amazing series. I didn’t want it to end but I also couldn’t have asked for a better ending. I can’t wait to see what else Ms. Kelly come up with I will be so excited to read her next work.
I read this book and didn’t realize it was the last in the series until I finished it. I am sure I would have had more knowledge of the characters had I read the rest of the series first (and I must buy and read the rest of the series), but I do not feel that this hindered me in understanding the book. This book was mostly about Roxy and Knox, as they got engaged and then all hell seemed to break loose. It was also about Kendall and Johnnie, and Outlaw and Megan, Mort and Bailey, but there was plenty about other couples as well. Will Knox be able to prove his love to Roxy? Does he change his ways and thinking of the members of the club? Does he get rid of his attitude of he’s better because he has money? Is everyone finally fed up with Kendall and her antics? Is Johnnie ready to move on from Kendall and find love and happiness? All of the above will be answered if you read the book. I will say if you don’t like reading the F word, you may not want to pick this up. It’s probably better read by 18 and above. I loved how once Knox opened his mind to really learning about all the members, they all made him feel welcome and were there to help him assimilate and learn to ride. The camaradery around the whole group/family was amazing, and how they all came together when someone was in need or ill. I look forward to reading about the next generation, and of course reading the whole series that I missed so I can read this one again! I am now a huge fan of Kathryn C. Kelly.
