I know rock stars. I grew up in the business, and now I make a living managing their tours. I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Lots and lots of ugly.
All that ugly is why I’ve sworn off dating rockers, but sleeping with them, well…I’ve been known to make the occasional exception.
One sultry night in Vegas, Mo Aronson, lead singer of Unrequited, becomes one of those exceptions. We … Unrequited, becomes one of those exceptions. We dance, we connect, we…get married.
That wasn’t in the cards. And the positive pregnancy test a few weeks later really wasn’t in the cards.
Despite the shock, I think I can handle becoming a mom. What I’m not sure I can handle is the younger, bad boy rocker who won’t back down no matter how many times I push him away.

4.5-stars!
I am a huge fan of rockers in books so I was excited to read Misconception by Julia Wolf. A younger man/older woman romance that was emotional, steamy and a bit angsty. Can two people who are different find a way to be together? Michaela is a woman who is very careful with her life. She is determined, spirited and independent. Mo Aronson, lead singer of Unrequited, is younger, charismatic and magnetic, but there is another side of him as well. Their journey was not easy, but it will captivate you from start to finish!

Happy reading!
This book was a real page turner from the very beginning with the well written storyline and characters that were so well developed that I couldn’t stop turning the pages until the very end!
I love rocker books so I’m asking myself how this is the first book by her that I have read it did not detract in any way from my enjoyment or understanding of this story.
I loved Michaela she’s a fiesty focused woman working in the music indutry. Mo the younger man ( go Mic) he’s not the usual bad boy rocker although he does have his moments. I’m sure alot of women like me will identify with alot of Mic’s thoughts and feelings and I loved her vunerable moments just as much as her strong determined ones. Mo infuriated me at times when he lashed out and just reacted but then he’d make up for it so sweetly. An enoyable story that had me laughing and crying.
I enjoyed this book. I always like the reverse age gap romances with the younger man and older woman. This was a drunken Vegas marriage that turned into a surprise baby. I have never read a book by this author is it my first time meeting any of the characters but it didn’t hinder my enjoyment at all. If you like a tough heroine you will fall in love with Michaela and although Moses definitely acts like the 20 something rockstar he is, you will love him too. This book has it all, great characters, great story, lots of chemistry and heat and a HEA that will make you smile.
***I was generously provided with an advanced readers copy of this book in exchange for my fair and honest review***
3.5*
This was my first Julia Wolf book and for sure I’ll be checking out some more of her books
Mo is a young rock star and Michaela is also in the business and they kind of know each other.
There’s a lot of tropes in this and I’m not gonna list them because I try not to do spoilers, but all I will say about this is that the Mo and Mickey kept me hooked and put me through it.
Learning to be real in a rockstar world takes an enormous amount of courage and willpower. However, one thing that Mo and Michaela had going for them was the recognition of what really did matter. It took some humps and misunderstandings to get over before their connection was truly cemented, but by being honest with each other they found a way. I received a copy of this painful romance as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
Julia Wolf knows how to write a sweet as sin rock star! I’ve wanted to know Mo’s story since he was first introduced in the Blue is the Color series and his story didn’t disappoint. I absolutely love the world Julia has woven and each new character she writes. I can’t wait to see who is next in this wonderful world.
4.5 Stars!!!
This is my first book by Julia and I will say that I absolutely loved it! Once I started the story I found it hard to put it down! Mo is a well known rock star that the world knows and love but there is more to him than meets the eye. Mo has a big heart, he loves hard, but he is also unsure of himself. Then their is Michaela, she grew up around the music industry and is not interest in a relationship with a rock star. Michaela’s job has taken a priority in her life, she has worked hard to get where she is. Michaela has some pretty big walls up that Mo has to work on breaking. The development of their love story was fantastic. The story takes you on a perfect emotional journey. They had to work to get to know each other and figure out what the other person needed and in the process they built a beautiful love story. The supporting characters was great. This book is a must read!
