There’s trouble brewing in New Orleans. When Evie and Dora arrive in the French Quarter, eager to secure the evidence that will clear Dora’s name, they walk right into the middle of a murder… one nobody else seems to think happened. Now Dora and Evie have to put their plans for freedom on hold as they search for the package containing the evidence they need. While pretending to be women they … aren’t and planning a parade they don’t want to be in, the dynamic duo uncover some unsavory characters who need to be stopped before more innocent people die. With an adorable dog by their side, a crazy mardi gras krewe, and plenty of beignets, it’s up to them to solve the crime before they become the next targets.

Mischief in New Orleans (Accidentally Undercover Mysteries Book 2) by Lucy Quinn is book number two in this awesome series. I loved reading this story very much and I highly recommend it to everyone who loves reading about mysteries.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Another very good, laugh out loud adventure for Dora & Evie. Making friends and taking on bad guys is all in a days work for these two. Evie is still to hung up on herself for me but she’s going in the right direction to changing that. Like most reviews I have read, I’m not happy about the cliffhanger ending, but you can either not read the book or just live with it, we the reader can’t change it.
The dynamic duo are definitely “going to have some good stories to tell our grandkids one day.” Their antics are funny and whimsical (hiding in plain sight in a parade); while their pain is heartfelt. Loved the story. 3 1/2 stars.
Voluntarily read ARC for honest review.
Dora and Evie are on the lamb in New Orleans and oh the things that go on in that city that they get involved in. It was such a good book I read it straight through and am looking forward to the next one. I don’t want to say much or it will give the book away.
Oh. Em. Gee. I love Dora, Evie and Sunshine, Evie’s little dog and was totally immersed in all that was happening in “Mischief in New Orleans” as they are looking for evidence to clear Dora’s name and walk right into the middle of a murder. What an amazing, funny and fast-paced continuation of the Accidentally Undercover Mysteries and I can hardly wait for the fun and mayhem to continue in “Chaos in California”, book three in this endearing series. This is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a can’t-put-down book and really should be read in order for a great reading experience. I received an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my review.
Dora, Evie and Sunshine continue their adventures in Mischief in New Orleans. Eager to retrieve the flash drive that will prove Dora’s innocence, the trio walk right into a murder that no one seems to be investigating. This fast paced book is a wild romp through New Orleans – filled with drama, suspense, murder, parade floats, humor and more. These stories are great escapes. Sunshine is one smart dog! Don’t miss this New Orleans adventure!
This is the second book in the series and even better than the first. Dora and Evie are on a road trip to recover the evidence that will clear Dora of a murder charge. Arriving in New Orleans, they immediately discover that retrieving the previously mailed Buddha containing the proof of innocence is going to be much more difficult than anticipated, not surprising considering these two seem to have a talent for finding trouble. Encountering friends and foes, the BFFs are plunged into another adventure involving a murder or two, stakeouts, gourmet food, a parade and even a naked poetry reading. There is an incident involving dumpster donuts that is hilarious. New Orleans is such a fabulous city and one of my favorites, and the author makes it come alive with unique characters and events so appropriate for this special destination. The story reminds me of my younger days with my BFF adventures, although as far as I know no murder was involved. I highly recommend this series and eagerly await #3. Note: I received an ARC; however, this is my voluntary review of a book I loved reading.
A fun, entertaining book. New Orleans will never be the same, and again it seems Sunshine aka Sushi is still the smartest one in the room. Parades, murder and intrigue. Can’t wait to read all about their next adventure.
Disclosure; I received a pre-published E-copy for which I am reviewing strictly, on a volunteer basis.
“Mischief In New Orleans” is an entertaining read with drama, gripping suspense, danger, action, lots of humor, a bit of sweet Southern romance, a wise protective dog, and fabulous engaging characters.
Evie and Dora go to New Orleans to retrieve evidence to clear Dora in a self-defense homicide. Unfortunately, they run into a couple of shifty characters and end up trying to solve a pair of murders. They also meet some fun-loving ladies preparing a float for a small Mardi Gras parade.
Fantastic uplifting well-written read with picturesque vivid scene descriptions. This story brought back great memories of my visit to New Orleans and made me hungry for the tasty beignets. I loved the mystery and surprises too. Looking forward to the next book to learn if the evidence is located. I found this to be a most enjoyable read.
Evie and Dora went to the french quarter of new Orleans for one reason. You see they put evidence in a package and mailed it there. With the bad guys after them they need that evidence back to clear Dora’s name.
Now their easy plan might not be so easy because things go nuts and they have another mystery on there hands. Your just going to have to read it because you won’t believe me if I tell you plus it will spoil the fun lol this story is action packed, drama filled, mystery with wonderful characters and so much more. What a fantastic storyline. Don’t miss it. Voluntarily review a copy and I honestly loved it
Dora and Evie always wanted to visit New Orleans. Unfortunately, they have more than fun on their minds. In the last adventure, Dora tried to get the gun away from her boss after finding incriminating information against him. He’s the one who got shot. Now the ladies are tracking evidence to clear Dora.
Instead of finding the evidence there are more crimes. Are they part of the investigation or something else? Don’t’ worry, the two get involved in plenty of action from the city of fun, parades, costumes, and more. Their little pup, Sunshine AKA Sushi, is a master player on their team.
Action, humor, characters, mystery this one has it all. Looking forward to their next adventure.
A fun, fast read. This book takes up where the last one left off and also leaves the reader with a bit of a cliff-hanger. The characters are fun and well defined. A bit of mystery, fun, growing love and thoroughly outrageous girls gone wild.
Dora and Evie are on the hunt for a particular Buddha with an USB inside. As they arrive in NOLA they see their lead slipping away as the addressee of the parcel is now dead! Now enmeshed in some little white lies that they are the deceased’ nieces, they get to meet the colourful members of the neighbourhood. This lot make the Golden Girls look tame!
They try to blend in, a bit hard in a purple convertible, but they soon make some allies and Sunshine AKAK Sushi becomes an Instagram star, enabling a certain musician to know that they are alive and well.
Crazy slapstick, mental mayhem and a good dose of the giggles. Great way to lighten your day.
From the from cover to the very last page I absolutely loved everything about Mischief in New Orleans.
Dora, Evie and Sunshine/Sushi are back and going undercover in New Orleans to see if they can track that pesky thumb drive, but nothing is ever easy for these two best friends, but omg it is always a highly entertaining adventure.
I laughed so hard…
I love that both Trace and Luke made surprise visits…
I can’t wait for more awesome antics…
