Right?
Together they could be dynamite. As long as Mischa can let down his walls.

I don’t think 2 people could’ve been better paired together than Mischa and Indie.
For years Mischa has lived by 10 rules. Rules that will keep him safe and never falling in love. After all he’s seen first hand what loving someone so much can do to a person when that love either isn’t returned or gone. He’s Eye Candy Ink’s resident ladies man and he believes it’s a happy life. That is until Indie walks in and all his rules are slowly being broken and Mischa finds himself in a place where he never thought nor wanted to be.
Indie is a funny and quirky kind of woman. She makes no apologies for how she lives her life. After finally getting in for an appointment at Eye Candy Ink she finds herself drawn to the jokester of the bunch. However, he doesn’t do relationships and Indie has marriage and white picket fence written all over her. But to keep Mischa in her life and maybe slowly chip away at the jokester personal Mischa gives off, Indie will play the friends with benefits game.
Is Mischa finally ready to give up his playboy lifestyle? Is he ready to put himself out there and hope Indie means what she says when she told him she’d never leave him?
I am obsessed with this series. Mischa is a complex guy and puts out the funny guy front, but he really had no way to guard himself when it came to the outgoing Indie entering his world. Indie was exactly what Mischa needed to heal himself and they just make complete sense as a couple. Great writing!
I’ve read books by this author before and I absolutely love reading her work. This book series is absolutely fantastic, this book is a must read. This is book #2 in the Eye Candy Ink Series.
Book #1 Atlas
Book #2 Mischa.
Indie is a very sexy, independent woman who knows exactly where she’s going and what she wants in life, she works with computers. She is Darcy’s best friend and their friendship is so cool to watch and I wish I had a BFF like her. Indie is sometimes very goofy and this is what makes her different from other women she doesn’t take herself to seriously.
Mischa is a very cool laid back kind of man that has had things quite tough where his heart is concerned, he’s so vulnerable yet so strong at the same time. Mischa has put walls up around his heart and he has rules that he follows to protect himself. He is broken inside but can Indie help him heal?
I absolutely loved these characters in this book and my heart breaks do much for him and just when you think Indie has gotten through. This author writes fantastically and I love her characters they are so relatable and the reader can really connect with them.
He finds it very difficult to trust and Indie speaks to his heart and he can’t believe it as he’s a commitment phobe. I was really rooting for these two characters as I thought they were great together to.
I loved seeing past characters to and what there up to and the epilogue is so beautiful, it’s awesome.
I absolutely can’t wait to dive straight into Sam’s story and I highly recommend that everyone reads these two books first.
This book is out now.
I was really excited for Mischa’s story because I loved Atlas so much. Broken characters are a favorite of mine while watching their redemption and growth. However, I didn’t like this story as much as the first one. The see-saw of Mischa and India was a bit much and there was a lot of retelling of book one. This is a good series overall, with a lot of steam and unforgettable characters. I cannot wait for Sam’s story to be released.
Oh Mischa, how you stole my heart! Indie, that girl is so easy to love. I’m not sure how Mischa resisted her for so long but fear and pain make you do crazy things. They fit together so wonderfully, Indie’s love and acceptance of him just the way he was, that is what romance is all about. I loved these two with all my heart, they made me so happy even when my heart was breaking. Shaw Hart did an amazing job with this couple. They deserve all the stars and I am now completely addicted to Eye Candy Ink!
So I picked up Atlas on a whim and loved it, so naturally when I saw that Mischa was released on KU I immediately one clicked it. For reasonably short novels these books have given me some great characters.
Mischa was so broken when it came to relationships. He was like a kicked puppy, that I just wanted to realise that he was safe. And watching him try to live within the rules that he had created to keep himself safe made my heart hurt.
Indie was so patient with him and his ghosts. But I loved her even more for knowing what she wanted and fighting for it. This being set in the same time as Altas and Darcy just made it all the sweeter and that epilogue was just the rolled ice cream for lunch.
I’m really looking forward to watching the rest of the crew fall.
I’m really enjoying the Eye Candy Ink series and there was just something about Mischa that had me craving to know more about this quiet fella with all the rules. I liked Indie, she’s this strong woman, smart and capable of taking care of herself. The two of them spark and sizzle as the story progresses the heat gets turned up. This is a great read to pull you in, getting to know the characters and feeling connected to. I can’t wait for more from this series.
We are back at Eye Candy Ink and we get to see Mischa fall in love against his will. He is not about commitment but you can’t help but also fall for Indie. She’s sassy and she knows what she wants. It takes her trying knowing she deserves more for Mischa to step up.
Four and a Half Stars
If the Ferris wheel’s a rocking keep on walking! I’m not a huge fan of the ride, but I’d go for a spin with sexy, heights fearing Mischa any time! In Book 2 of Shaw Hart’s Eye Candy Ink Series we watch as commitment phobic Mischa falls unknowingly head over heels in love with carefree, sassy pants Indie. Beautifully damaged man that he is doesn’t even realize that the pain in his chest and his self imposed rule breaking tendencies are all brought on by his growing feelings for his friends with benefits partner Indie. For her part Indie is fully aware of her growing feelings for the sexy as sin, closed off tattoo artist. She’s all in but when she realizes she deserves more she takes a step back. Forced to confront his fears, Mischa takes a chance on love and let’s himself fall for his sexy pixie. A fantastic happily ever after read. TBR and enjoy. (I read an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.)
This is the second book I’ve read in this series by Author Shaw Hart and I absolutely love it. Mischa a tattoo artist at Eye Candy Ink by day , all round commitment phobe by night. I loved his character he was flawed in so many ways due to his childhood yet he formed bonds with the people at Eye Candy Ink ,family bonds he didn’t even realise he had done over the years he worked there and Atlas being his best friend he believed he didn’t need anyone else. He had a list of rules he followed with an iron fist , safe rules , rules that would not see him get hurt . But that all went out the window when he met Indie .
I adored Indies character she was so funny and confident self assured independent and a workaholic all tied up in a tiny little package she was just herself and Mischa didn’t know what hit him.
I loved their story and I loved how Atlas and Darcy were also prominent in the book yet didn’t take away from the story that was Mischa and Indie. I can’t wait to read Sam’s book something tells me she is a fiesty one . I will definitely be collecting these in paperback.
