MISADVENTURES ARE STANDALONE ROMANCES THAT CAN BE READ IN ANY ORDERIt’s been years since June Bell shared a stolen moment with her girlhood crush, Kase McCasker. It’s been just as long since Kase’s father nixed the sale of the McCasker farm to expand the grounds of the Bell’s grand hotel. Now that Kase is back home for good, June might be the only person who can persuade him to reconsider the … can persuade him to reconsider the abandoned plan. But how can she face him again after he left her without a word?
Four years ago, unexpected news shook the foundation of Kase McCasker’s world. Escaping Falls Edge for college was the perfect excuse to chase his demons and bury his pain. Now, with a degree in hand and a void he can’t fill, he’s back in the little mountain town he thought he’d never call home again. Searching for purpose, he’s determined to put down roots and take over the struggling farm that’s been in his family for generations.
Time and distance haven’t taken the edge off his preoccupation with June, the spitfire daughter of his father’s rival. He hasn’t forgotten their time together and all the things they did and didn’t do. One look at her has him reconsidering the future and making a dangerous deal to win her over. Is a chance at her heart worth risking everything else?

I’m just not into that scene. Like, if a guy wants to tie me up, I figure he’s getting ready to hide a body.
My Review:
I continue to sally forth with my fixation with this super steamy and sweet romance series by Meredith Wild, although the books should come with a warning as they appear to be habit-forming and put me at risk for dehydration. This installment was a New Adult second chance at romance for a young couple whose neighboring families had been at odds while harboring resentful secrets and deceiving the young couple all their lives. The story was engaging and highly passionate as they established and their relationship and discovered and explored their sensual compatibility. You will most likely need fans on high and cool drinks at the ready regardless of the weather.
I liked this. Romantic and two individuals that really love each other.
Excellent story line easy to read
I really liked it
Misadventures of a Virgin by Meredith Wild was a great read. June and Kase have known each other since they were kids. June’s father is trying to buy the farm that Kase and his father own to expand his hotel. Kase sets up a proposition to have June stay on the farm for two weeks and then he will sell to her dad. Nothing goes as planned during the entire time she stayed on the farm for June. This was a book that I enjoyed reading and I can’t wait to read more by Meredith Wild.
I loved this second chance, feud between familys story. June and Kase are caught up in the feud between their families.
June and Kase shared a kiss when they were younger, Kase left town for 4 years. Now he is back to help his dad with the farm. June works at a grand hotel that her dad owns and looks to take it over when the time comes.
This story had its heartbreaking moments when secretes come out and lives may be torn apart. There are some really hot and steamy parts too. June may be a virgin but when the time comes she isn’t the shy girl any longer. I loved this book! I had the chance to get it on Google Play this week so I have downloaded it there and look forward to a re-read in the near future.
I loved this story. Plain and simple.
The perfect combination of love, family, rivalry and sex.
June has had a crush on Kase … for years! Kase is the son of a man that’s been at odds with June’s father… for years!
There’s family drama, there’s love drama, there’s secrets that have been have buried only to come to light years later. Oh yea, and there’s lots of sex!
When you pick this book up make sure to clear your schedule for the next few hours. You WILL need to finish it! And then you’ll need some time to recover. You’re going to want more and you’re definitely not going to want it to end …
Misadventures of a Virgin is a wonderfully steamy “first time” story about second changes with first loves. There are secrets in both their pasts that seem to be keeping them apart but Kase will do whatever it takes to show June that she means something to him and that his farm is worth saving. Saying any more than this will give too much away but just know that not all is as it seems and that these two fairly combust the pages you read.
Kase and June are hot hot!
You get caught up in Kase and June’s story Meredith has a way with writing that keeps you engaged in the story. This book is about a first love and another chance at it. June has know nothing but Kase and what she wants from him even if they are forbidden to see each other over a grudge between the Bell and McCasker.
After 4 years Kase comes back and all of Junes feelings come to surface. It is a Sweet and tender story of forbidden love and second chances with just the right amount of spice and heat. Kase and June were simply perfect. It is a must read Meredith knocked it out f the park again.
Oh what a tangled web of deceit and deception…on the part of the fathers. This is a second chance story that hits all its targets, whistles, and bells (even June Bell’s) LOL. Kase is back in town after four years and has come for June. The only problem, she is being used as a pawn in the land deal between their fathers who have their own secrets. Secrets, lots of feeling, and loving in the orchard and we have ourselves one great page turner that scorches the fingers that turn the pages so fast. Absolutely recommend this one!
Relatable to my own life in some ways, and can only wish it were in other ways. Very realistic. Found it very hard to put down. Enjoyed this story very much. Excellent job.

Ratings
Story rating – 2 stars!
I’m a big virgin trope fan, and I don’t mind the alpha male with a bedroom kink or two trope. However, for some reason the plot points and dynamic between the main characters just didn’t come together well for me.
Performances – 5 stars for both narrators!
Jennifer Mack and Brian Pallino made a fine narrating duo. I have no complaints about their vocal acting and really credit them to my ability to get to the end of this novel and not abandoning it as I debated doing.
Overall – 2.5 stars!
I’d been meaning to read a novel by this author for some time, and finally I got an alert from Bookbub that this one was on sale. Here was my chance to find out if Ms. Wild could deliver on the promising premise of this story.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed to realize early on in June and Kase’s story that I was bored by the plot development. Therefore, this novel will most likely be the only novel I ever read by Ms. Wild. I have so many unread books collected now that I have to enforce a one-strike and you’re out of my TBR rotation policy.
Final Thought: This novel was well-written; but ultimately, it just wasn’t my cup of tea.
A sweet, heartwarming, and feel good romance. I enjoyed this story.
I rarely enjoy the virgin trope but this book was so much more! Meredith wove wonderful characters with tragedy, love, hope, happiness, self-discovery, healing, & forgiveness!
Beautifully done!
Fun and cute story, I love seeing how each Misadventure plays out! Meredith Wild, as always, brought fun and steam to a great story.
A terrible story, unbelievable yet predictable. Don’t waste a weekend reading this.
I did not like book could not get into it
Flirty and fun.
Beautifully written story about second chances!
This one surprised me. It was steamy don’t get me wrong but, it was sweet and soft in a way that I did not expect. I adored the building romance between Kase and June. I liked that they had a past however brief it was. I think Kase was a genius in his approach to the business deal struck with June’s father. It was a unique way to work out his own agenda. The back story on June’s mother was a bit surprising too. I have to say I really enjoyed this story and will look forward to more like these whether simply a Misadventure story or more from Meredith Wild, whom I adore.
