I’ve been a fan of Jennifer Snyder’s for awhile now and have had the single mirror lake wolves books but have only just gotten around to reading them when this Boxset was released. I loved these stories and couldn’t put them down from start to finish. I liked the connection between Mina & Alec, he was her safe & normal choice but I totally loved the connection between her & Eli, the pack alpha’s son, as every moment that they had during each book was great to read as they had major chemistry. You could even feel it when they were arguing with each other which happened a lot. Mirror Lake is home to wolves, witches & vampires. I’m looking forward to reading the next collection of books. I’m also really looking forward to reading about Ridley (kind of witch, maybe she just hasn’t come into her powers as yet in these books) Mina’s new friend. I’m hoping we find out what happened to the other missing/taken wolves and whether or not they’re still alive. I’d recommend this collection of books, the series and the author to anyone.
What a brilliant box set this was. My preferred way of reading a series is all of the books straight after the other. I thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of the books in this set. Highly recommended.
Mirror Lake Wolves Boxed set (Books 1-3) I have read them all in order and loved every one. Get the boxed set, it wont disappoint.
Moon Kissed by Jennifer Snyder a kissable five-star read. This Is the first book in the Mirror Lake Wolves series and I can’t wait for the rest of the series, it promises to be a great series, possibly the best I will read for a long time. This is a new adult/ Mature young adult series and may just feature my favourite wolfman in Eli Vargas.
Mirror Lake Trailer Park is different to the rest of town, and people are starting to notice. What the people of the trailer park know and the townsfolk only suspect is that the people of the park are nearly all moon kissed, and those that aren’t are technically part of the pack but they may feel like outsiders to the pack at the same time, as the gene doesn’t trigger in every member of the pack and the time is short when it will happen. Mina Ryan is soon coming to the end of her time to be triggered.
Mina is worried her gene wont trigger so is starting to make plans in case it doesn’t, she doesn’t want to be alone on the outside so is making friends including one in particular named Alec Thomas, the only problem is Alec doesn’t know who Mina really is. But he does know a lot about her.
But there is a complication in the form of Eli Vargas, he’s the hot son of the pack Alpha, and Mina is helping him with renovations and pack business, he also knows a lot about Mina as well. When Mina needs help she turns to Eli but it causes complications with her friend Alec, as when she is with Eli he gives her a feeling that she can’t explain, could it be the moon kissed gene? Or is it something else?
Mina will face a lot of challenges, follow her heart or her head? And what’s really going on in the woods around Mirror Lake and could Alec know more than we think?
This is amazing, I am waiting for the next book with baited breath, Jennifer Snyder if one of my all-time favourite authors so I knew I was going to enjoy this book, what I wasn’t expecting was how much I would love it
Moon Hunted by Jennifer Snyder a haunting five-star read. This is the second book in the Mirror Lake Wolves series and what a second instalment, it picks up after the first book leaves off. I loved that book and this one was just as good, you got to see a deeper level to the characters as we know them more now and know they have that level of depth that shows well written characters and a great talent with writing. The only negative I found with this book was aagghhh you want to give some people a shake with this book. Jennifer you know I love a good light romance and a will they won’t they, but I am team Eli all the way, the human is cute, but Eli is yummy and so well captured. There are so many twists and turns with this book and I can’t wait for book three what will be revealed and see what will happen next. I hope what I know happens and what I want to happen will happen but only time will tell.
Moon Severed by Jennifer Snyder a sublime five star read. This is the third book in the Mirror Lake Wolves series, and what a series. All I wanted to write in this review was omg Jennifer, girl you did good. Best book if the series, we know all the characters now and have built good rapports know who you like and who grates on your nerves, and you think you know what’s going to happen, then boom switch up. I am an Eli lover through and through but the human boy he did good.
With the pack members still missing drastic action must be taken, but will Mina find what she is looking for in the end? Well done Ms Snyder on a very good series.
I picked up the 3 book box set on sale, after having read book 1 as an ARC. The books progressively got better, book 1 being my least favorite of the 3. The minor love triangle really annoyed me, but to be fair, I’m always annoyed by books with love triangles, I just can’t relate to it. I liked Eli, but I never really liked Mina or Alec. The box set is not the complete series, there is a cliff-hanger with at least 1 more book in the series that I can tell by looking on Amazon. The story held my interest, flowed fairly well, with a plot that keeps you guessing till the end of book 3. I don’t know that I would consider this a Y/A book, more of a N/A book, due to the violence/blood/killing & the lightly mentioned sex scene. The sex scene is alluded too, mostly left to your imagination IMO. It was a worthwhile series to read, though not one I would re-read.
