Down on her luck, nursing student and full-time waitress Kara Foster gets a massive blow to her already desperate financial situation that will surely find her living on the streets. Needing nothing less than a miracle to save her, Kara gets rescue from an unknown, unlikely and overwhelming source. Billionaire Simon Hudson makes her an offer that is impossible to refuse, but terrifying to accept … accept from a man that she’s never met. Will the handsome, alpha billionaire really be a solution to her problems, or will he end up being a major complication and a danger to her emotional sanity? Reclusive billionaire Simon Hudson would rather be behind a computer creating computer games than rubbing elbows with the elite and he knows exactly what he wants…until he meets Kara Foster. Something about Kara touches Simon in ways he’s never experienced and definitely doesn’t like. For over a year, Simon watches over Kara, but stubbornly refuses to admit his desire to possess her, not even to himself. But when she ends up in a situation that could very well be her destruction, Simon steps up to help her, not realizing that in saving Kara, he might very well be salvaging his own soul.

Great read
“Mine For Tonight” (The Billionaire’s Obsession, Part 1) by J. S. Scott is a great start to this series. I loved the start of Simon and Kara’s story. This is a quick read, full of passion, entertaining characters, billionaire’s, and more. I can’t wait to see what happens next in Simon and Kara’s story in “Mine For Now” (The Billionaire’s Obsession, Book 2). Highly recommend to all fans of romance, billionaire’s, and series.
The only things I can say is:
I want more Simon & Kara
This Author J S Scott is where it’s at for HOT & Steamy.

Simon And Kara’s Steamy Story Opens With A Sense Of Mystery Around Simon’s Past!
This is book one of four in The Billionaire’s Obsession Series ~ Simon.
Simon Hudson, early thirties, has to do something with his obsessive thoughts about Kara. He hasn’t even met the beautiful waitress that works in his mother’s bistro. Yet it only took seeing her from afar at the restaurant for Simon to come unglued. He was drawn to her innocence and vulnerability, which weren’t typical of he women he usually kept company with. His world changed then, and a year later his life still centers around catching a glimpse of Kara from time to time. Although the computer geek is a loner, his life became even more monotonous after that night because he cannot imagine himself with anyone but her. But that must change now because Simon is distracted and his work is suffering. He needs to regain the sense of control that he needs to thrive. Simon is half of the Hudson Corporation. He designs games, while his older brother Sam, who happens to be charming and more socially inclined, is the face of the company. To regain his focus, Simon needs to take back control. Kara isn’t the type of woman for him to have the kind of casual encounter he needs, but he no longer has a choice. He must get her out of his system.
Kara Foster, twenty-eight, is about to graduate from nursing school and finally begin a better life. She lost her parents when she was eighteen and got stuck in a dead end job and relationship. But when the relationship ended five years ago, she took a hard look at her life and decided she needed to go to college. She works full-time at Helen’s Place while also taking a full-time load. She has worked herself nearly to death for three and a half years, but she just began her final semester and the end is in sight. It cannot come too soon, since she barely scrapes by from month to month and her roommate Lydia, who struggles herself, seems to eat whatever food Kara brings home.
As fate would have it, circumstances bring Simon and Kara together on a Friday night in January. Neither anticipates, however, that Kara’s visit might become an extended stay. Simon is rigid and arrogant. The orders he dishes out shock Kara, but his generosity takes her by surprise. He is a mystery to her, but she begins to suspect that something hurtful in his past has shaped him into the man he is today. Simon is frustrated by Kara’s stubborn independence, but he holds his ground. Yet having her so near only heightens his need for her.
Simon and Kara are thrown together by circumstances, and their steamy chemistry ignites. He is a billionaire and she a struggling older student. But he is missing something in his life, even if he hasn’t yet figured it out. He wants a real connection, and Kara is the only woman that triggers his feelings. Kara’s life is lacking as well. She has no remaining family, and her closest friend is probably her boss, Helen Hudson. She needs someone steady in her life – someone that helps her to take time out and enjoy life. And ideally she needs family in her life once again. This book ends with a cliffhanger.
Simon and Kara’s steamy story opens with a sense of mystery around Simon’s past. This quick read is well-written. The plot is fairly simple. The story is written in third person. The POV alternates between Simon and Kara. I rate this book four stars.
A wonderful start to the series, as usual, Ms. Scott captivates me with her writing, it has the perfect blend of sexiness, sassiness and you can’t help falling in love with the characters, I cannot wait to read more about them. Getting next in series now!
A wonderful romantic erotic read.
