A breathtaking near-future thriller. From the NY Times bestselling author whose books have been downloaded over a million times. When Nick Hall wakes up in a dumpster–bloodied, without a memory, and hearing voices in his head–he knows things are bad. But they’re about to get far worse. Because he’s being hunted by a team of assassins. Soon Hall discovers that advanced electronics have been … electronics have been implanted in his brain, and he now has two astonishing abilities. He can surf the web using thoughts alone. And he can read minds. But who inserted the implants? And why? And why is someone so desperate to kill him?
As Hall races to find answers, he comes to learn that far more is at stake than just his life. Because his actions can either catapult civilization to new heights–or bring about its total collapse.
Based on actual research on thought-controlled web surfing, Mind’s Eye is a smart, roller-coaster ride of a thriller. One that raises a number of intriguing, and sometimes chilling, possibilities about a future that is just around the corner.

I normally do not read sci fi type books but this one was interesting to me. It was a good book and the possibilities of what could happen made it a thought provoking read.
Couldn’t get into it.
A peak into the future. Leaving you wondering if these abilities exist now
If you can accept the premise of the book (somewhat hard to do sometimes) this is an entertaining story of what might come to pass. The story is well plotted, a decent read for the weekend.
Loved the journey your takenon. Great intrigue with twists and turns. Couldn’t put it down. You won’t be disappointed.
An interesting story with well paced action and enough twists and turns to hold interest. There were a few boring spots where there was too much sermonizing on the dangers of technology. The point was made and it wasn’t necessary to keep repeating it. In parts, particularly at the end, the author began telling the reader the story rather than …
This one had me hooked right away. Technology scares me and this book will make you think!
I am a fan of the author! I have read several of his books and I love them!!!! Full of action, unbelievable story line. Couldn’t put the book down!
What can I say about Douglas E. Richards’ writing. He has an interesting mind filled with “WHAT IF” ideas that has a scientific basis and runs with them while pushing the envelope. The reader is often left with a bit of an unsettling feeling that what he is presenting as science fiction today, may be science reality in the not so distant …
Just what I want in a book, well developed characters and some fun plot twists that give an unexpected resolution.
When I read I don’t want to have to think too hard. I want to be entertained and feel compelled to read more without having to take notes. This book did that for me.
Scary how realistic this could become at the speed of how technology advances these days.
This story combined suspense with action. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. It was a real page turner!
good read somewhat far out
Nice original plot with in depth characters
Very good!
This book kept my interest the whole time loved the way it unfolded
Pretty good.
Very good a page turner could not put it down
This book, to me was bland, not a heart pounding book at all. It was , however, a book that made me think about certain things that I wouldn’t have otherwise have thought of. Such as our modern day very close attachment to technology. Instead of taking a walk, or conversing with each other, we bury ourselves in technologies, never knowing what is …
Moves along pretty well. Not the most compelling but readablr
