Review:
What a great ending for a great series. I was so incredibly happy to be chosen to review this book early. The second I knew it sat on my kindle, I started reading it. I had to put it down for a bit to go to work but luckily I was able to finish tonight. Don’t tell my boss that i’m reading on the job haha.
What is this book about:
This book picks up immediately where the last book ended thank go. Pim was taken by some idiot French guy we know and love by the name of Q mercer. Elder was shot and fell over board and we don’t know whether he’s alive or not. So yeah that ending.
Anyhow I wish I could tell you more but that would be spoiler, something most of you maybe expect but a spoiler non the less so I can’t tell.
This book is about realizing family doesn’t always mean blood. You can create your own family. It’s also about excepting help and love, while it’s scary it can also be the most liberating thing in your life. This book is about overcoming intense hardship and creating a life time of happiness.
What did I like about this book:
Again I can’t say much because that would be a spoiler. I did love this book. I love to see Pim being herself and growing as a person. Growing and overcoming her past.
I really loved seeing other characters from Peppers book in this one. It’s fun to see those characters again and tie together in some way.
I wish I could tell you exactly why I love this book, what made me love this book, but I can’t. So you’ll just have to take my word for it. Read the book and see for your self how Pim’s story ends.

Leave it to Pepper to make you question your sanity and fall for every character she’s ever written. I love Pim and Elder, their connection is raw, deep and it ricochets in all the pages of their saga. It’s a total pageturner and I bet you won’t be able to stop reading once you start this masterpiece!

The climax and finale were bittersweet and brilliant, some scenes took my breath away, while others broke my heart!
Millions brought everything together that has been building and building from Pennies, to Dollars, to Hundreds, and Thousands! Pim and Elder’s finish and multiple epilogue’s was divine and beautiful! It could not have been more perfect than this thrilling and sensational story.
Pepper Winters has entangled this heartbreaking and gracious story with beloved characters of her other amazing stories. I loved seeing characters from the past and future stories come together in their cameo appearances to remind the reader that there are other spectacular stories that were penned but this magnificent author, and I am excited to see what is to come!

This played out just like an action movie. I loved it, and it made me want to go back and read Jethro’s story and Q’s story, which I haven’t read yet. I loved this series, and then ending was sooooo perfect.
I don’t even know what else to say in this review, because everything wound up being perfect and happening the way it needed to.

What’s this book about? (I’m trying to give as little spoilers as possible)
This is the final book in the Dollar series. The previous books must be read in order to understand what is going on. This is a dark romance with two leads that have a lot of hurdles to overcome. Go in with an open mind.
I legit binged this series in the matter of four days. I started right after I read Sully’s Fantasy and damn, I haven’t regretted it one bit. This series is for those that love a story of perseverance and growth. The character development is just out of this world. My two tormented babies in the lead; I CANNOT. My heart is so full. I will miss them dearly and I only spent four days with them LOL.
We had some interesting cameos and possible spoilers for another one of Winters’ dark series called Monsters In the Dark, but since that series seems to be her most famous, I don’t think lots of people will mind the spoilers. The teamwork in this book had me like WOW. I usually get upset or all snowflake when men show the tendencies Q and Elder displayed in this book, but here I am, Peppered up and all ‘DEFEND MY BABY’S HONOR, YOU FOOL!’ on Elder.
As a final installment, it had everything I yearned for in the end of these characters’ journeys. I couldn’t have asked for more. The epilogues were brilliant and full of feels. I’m so glad I started this series because Pim and Elder have become my favorite Pepper couple. Sully and Eleanor are goals, Pim and Elder are my favs. Pepper has this magical touch to her writing where she just transports you into the scene and you bloody feel everything; EVERY SINGLE THING. In the first book’s review, I said there were no heroes here. Five books later, I take that back. We have ourselves two leads that are as heroic as they come. I love them with all of my heart!
I recommend this to readers that want a story of perseverance, strength, love, loss and pain. This is very dark and readers should proceed with caution. This is Pepper Winters at her finest dark moments.
ORIGINAL COMMENT: My heart. MY HEART. My bloody heart. Pim and Elder are my FAVs. Sully and Eleanor are goals. Pepper is a dark romance legend and you haven’t known the genre until you read her stuff.
Just finished this. It was less dramatic than Fifth A Fury which I welcomed. Enough Peppering for this summer (until Jinx’s Fantasy *wink*)

This book was everything! It was the best book out of the entire series for me and that’s saying a lot because I’ve loved every second of this entire story. So much was put into this adventure. So many twists and turns. So much heartbreak and devastation but also so much love and strength. Elder and Pimlico are my favorite couple of all Pepper Winters books. This story was absolutely flawless. The end was the best ending I could’ve ever hope for them. Just beautiful!

This final book in The Dollar Series was a perfect ending. It was an emotional roller coaster. The desperation to find each other. The vengeance against old and new enemies. The triumph and healing of pain. And finally, finally the peace and move and respect that they deserve.

What a great end to this series. Millions had me sitting on the edge of my seat during a number of scenes. It was exciting and emotional at times and I was happy with how the story concluded.
There are a couple of characters from a different series by Pepper Winters that feature heavily in this book and I now wish I had known to read that series first. I enjoyed witnessing Pim and Elder’s journey – they truly are a remarkable couple. When you consider what they both have been through I was so pleased to see how much they have helped each other to move forward in their lives.
As much as I adore epilogues I didn’t particularly like how many this book had. I understand why the author wrote them but having so many felt disorderly even though I loved the content.
On the whole I have really enjoyed this series. Pennies and Thousands have been my favourite books out of the five I have to admit. In my opinion The Dollar series could have been a trilogy as there were times when I felt that the pace was too slow and the content stretched but I’m so pleased that I did choose to read Pim and Elder’s story.

This entire series rocked my world! Monsters in the Dark … Indebted … all her many duets — none of them have a leg up on the Dollar series. Elder and Pim are etched into my heart and soul. A must-read series!

The epic conclusion of the dollar series is finally here with millions and we couldn’t ask for more..
“You’re stuck with me. For however long my stupid heart keeps me alive.”
Pim finally gets to break all her walls and fears trusting and loving immensely Elder, she is stronger and she is ready to fight for everything she ever wanted, even if that means to face her own demons..
“I’d finally come to enjoy being a girl—a woman. Every time Elder looked at me, every hour his feelings evolved from wariness to interest to love, I was beyond grateful I’d been born a girl.”
Elder keeps fighting his past, it seems like they’re not letting him move on. They keep hunting him, hunting them a few more times, but making them stronger and even bringing them closer than before.. Elders past and family keep trying to bring them down, hurting him in every way possible and making us understand the way he is even more.
“Looking into the eyes of the woman I loved more than anything, I gave up. I did what I should’ve done all those years ago. I put my fate in the hands of honour. I kneeled before my greatest enemy.”
So many things happened before Elder finally can be safe and happy with Pim, a war that is not done but it seems that is just had begun. Pim and Elder continue to have a few major roadblocks while trying to finally be happy but at the end together they finally will be able to move on and start a new life without all these fears trying to sabotage their love.
“I didn’t need Elder to complete me. I didn’t need time to cure me. I only needed to trust myself and I’d finally remembered how to do that.”
millions is the last book of the Dollar series, I’m going to miss Elder and Pim so much. two characters that you’re going to love. Elder and Pim are very enigmatic with so many secrets and a past that keeps lurking around but at the end, we finally got to see so much growth after so much pain.
“You did more than love me. You saved me.”

I have loved this series hard and this was a great finale to an epic series. It was just astounding to have Elder Prest and Q Mercer working alongside each other in the same book! I just adored the stand off; the testosterone levels were palpable and just oozed off the pages. That is the brilliance of Peppers writing. Her words are descriptive and emotive and for me she is one of the best writers out there. Her dark and twisted you never see coming; you can never tell what direction her stories are going to take and the journey is thoroughly captivating.
Elder and Pim/Tasmin have come along way since book one; they have both learned to trust and fall in love and see in each other what no one else has. The love and devotion between the two had me feeling all kinds of mushy. Elders strength to protect Pim at all cost and risk to himself was powerful. Pim’s strength and devotion to want to save Elder was tangible and together they were a force to be reckoned with.
Peppers stories are never quick; they are almost like playing a game of pass the parcel. Slowly each layer is revealed until you are left with the end product. She creates stories with twists, secrets as is definitely queen of dark romance. This series has left me breathless. I am truly sad that I have reached the end of the road with this. I have loved every single page. If you haven’t read any of this authors work; stop right now and push this series to the top of your tbr. It’s just too good to miss!

Is it really over? That’s what I keep asking myself since I finished reading Millions. Pim and Elder have taken us on a long and heartbreaking journey only to deliver us one powerful and intensely beautiful love story. It’s ugly most times but their true love shines with the brightest and biggest light that I’ve seen in a long time.
I’m not even going to attempt to rehash the story for you because I don’t want to give anything away. So I’m going to start with my love for Pim. Since the beginning of this series, I have talked about how strong I think Pim is and I’ve loved watching her growth as she rediscovers who she is through Elder. She’s at her absolute strongest in Millions. She has allowed her love for Elder to fuel her need for survival, showing just how fierce she really is.
In Hundreds, we learned a bit more about Elder and what makes him tick. We get to see him battle emotions a some more in Millions and watching him embrace his feelings for Pim and fight for her is truly amazing. There won’t be a moment that you doubt his love for Pim. It’s absolutely breathtaking.
There was only one thing that bothered me with this book and it bothered me enough that I feel like I need to mention it. To get it off my chest. I think that the storyline alone really wrapped up Pim and Elder’s story beautifully and I was very happy with the way it turned out. However, I felt that there were WAY TOO MANY prologues. I think it could have been done with two at the most, with a POV from each. I found that there were so many that I was skipping things. I don’t want to skip things. I was so emotionally invested and consumed by the story that I was shocked when I found that I was doing that. So I made sure to go back and take my time. Again, I loved the story, I just thought it was drawn out for too long and could have been condensed.
Overall, I loved Millions and and the Dollar Series. Winters brings us an emotionally packed story that proves love can be found in the most unexpected places and that everyone deserves that all consuming and amazing love. If you haven’t read this series yet, you are missing out. I cannot recommend it enough.

Reading this book takes strength and determination. It takes bravery and love. It seems really silly but knowing this is the final book in the series it takes courage to open it. Because I never want to say goodbye.
Millions was always going to be the end of the series. It is the end of the series. But in so many ways it’s just the beginning!
I fell in gratitude with Elder Prest in Pennies.
I fell in like with him in Dollars.
I fell in love in Hundreds.
I fell apart in Thousands.
I fell into despair.
I fell into acceptance…but never completely.
I never lost hope. Elder Prest is hope. This love story is unique and unusual but it is truly a love story. Millions will hurt your heart, scar you body, and cause a bone deep ache. But it will own your soul!!!

I love Pepper but this one was not one of my favorites. It was a nice idea to intertwine previous series characters into this one but i just didn’t feel it was done well. Two alpha males, Q and Elder. It was uncomfortable and a little choppy. Maybe its just me.
I did love all of the epilogues for Pim and Elder.

“Aishiteru”
An absolute stunning conclusion to a spellbinding and compelling saga that has held the reader hostage through all of the Author’s denominations of currency!!! A story that began with the abject misery of a girl on the cusp of womanhood so cruelly thrust into the world of a sadist that abused in unspeakable ways. We as readers are not spared one detail in the horror show this gruesome and odious creature visited on Pimlico/Tasmin. I believe it was to make a point at what can truly happen to a sold human being at the hands of the over-monied, psychologically deficient, narcissistic ghouls that can exist in the sale and purchase of human life for deviant purpose. Pimlico’s abject suffering also showcased the resilience and strength of our heroine as she heals, learns to live with her deficiencies and most of all…she learns to love. She heals into a lovely beauty with delicate scars of silver on her body that only add to her allure.
Our hero, Elder “Miki” Prest had long since abandoned any hope of a normal happy life with love for another in it. Except…he could not leave Pim in the hell in which he first met her. In a furious bloodbath he rescued his Pim, seeking only to heal, rehabilitate her and return her to her previous life. He is a physically beautiful, intense, passionate genius with OCD issues. Throughout the saga of books we learn that nothing stayed the same for our brave duo and they moved slowly and carefully together facing the demons and scars of the past each of them carried like a millstone around their necks.
Just as they claimed their love, an attack from old enemies from Japan came to visit death upon Elder and in a stunning surprise “Q”(A dark hero from another sweeping saga involving sex trafficking.) helped him out of a dire situation only to shoot him and mistakenly take Pim away from him. This is the stage set for this last heart-stopping chapter of the “Dollar” Saga, “Millions”
This read is filled with well written action as narrated through the perspectives of Elder and Pimlico. The reader can easily visualize the mayhem and carnage in the definitive battle. Even though you know it’s a romance, you fear for what may be lost in the battle…what further compromise from life Elder and Pim will need to make in order to survive, if not thrive.
The chemistry between our lovers is the most palpable in this last chapter of the saga. The love scenes are hotter, more involved, more free and more intense. Some lovely and scrumptious reading. Three times the hotness!!!
As in all of her stunning works, Ms. Winters has a talent to paint in the mind of the reader stunning vistas from locales around the world. I fondly recalled the azure blue of the Bahamas and the refresh to the spirit there is in viewing its beauty. This is the work of, certainly, a “cinematic” writer. Similarly, the world of the “Phantom” began to feel like a world that one could only dream to visit in reality, yet we’re happy that as readers, we were given the possibility of this home to dream about after we finished reading the series.
And so we as readers with dreams of love and beautiful places…and after living through the harrowing battles both actual, physical and emotional with Elder and Pim, realize that “Aishiteru” is a word reserved for lovers such as our Elder and Pim. But I really do want thank Ms. Winters for the journey in this saga and tell her that I extend my feelings of “Daisuki” to her and her lovely, fearsome and awesome writing. One click to enjoy the feelings of both “Aishiteru” and “Daisuki” in the surprising conclusion of this sweeping saga.

The story just got a cherry on top !!
The complex recipe of the story has been so painstakingly prepared , with exotic, rare materials, it’s no wonder the completed dish is delicacy to be savoured. This part , book 5 , is racy & action packed to the brim. Lots of characters at play which get toe-to-toe and then side-by-side to fight the ultimate evil. Pimlico was saved by Elder Prest , and he is a God Like figure , almighty saviour , ruling the Seas
In this book we see him as a human being. Vulnerable, exhausted, brave, courageous and loving to a fault. His compassion and capacity to love unconditionally is stretched beyond limits. So much so that self sacrifice doesnt even warrant a second of doubt or after thought.
Pim and elder develop into soul mates and lovebirds.
And despite all that written-in-the-stars kind of thing, we’ve been torn apart!
I’m so happy the story had a such a unique ending, I mean a lesser author would’ve inserted unnecessary miracles where some vulnerability was needed, and Pepper does just that!
I loved the story, it’s characters, some old, some new , Some borrowed , some almost went blue
What strength Pimlico shows, how indestructible is Elder’s personality, how loyal is Selix in friendship. I’m completely enamoured by it
Fantastic, Exceptional story. I loved the Epilogues. Just couldn’t keep the book down, also not letting it go.
Any problems could be overcome. Any injury could be healed. Any bad news could be solved. But true love— real soul-deep connection… that could never be faked or forged. Everything else was just white noise compared to that gift.
How true ! This story is testament to power of love , turning a mouse into a tigress , enemies to friends, kindred spirits into loyal friends and survivors into saviours
Well done Pepper and congratulations on a book well written .!

MILLIONS … the end of an extraordinary series by Pepper Winters. Where to start? What to say? How to put into words what reading this last instalment made me feel? I’m at a loss. And in total awe of Ms. Winters’ brilliant writing skills. This book deserves a million stars – if not more!
Last time I declared THOUSANDS as my favorite of the Dollar series – and now I have to stand correct: This one – this is my absolute top favorite part of the series!! Why? Oh, so many reasons! But one sticks out immensely: Q Mercer! God, that man! His story was the first dark romance I’ve ever read and still I’ve found no one (no pun intended, sorry, Elder! I still love you!) to claim his spot of being my top favorite dark and twisted and dangerous hero and push him off his throne. And that he and Tess played such an integral part in this final chapter of Pim and Elder’s journey, albeit accidentally? Bliss… pure and utter bliss! And if newer fans of Pepper haven’t read this series yet (how dare you!), I hope that this glimpse of this enigmatic man will make them curious enough to do exactly that.
And then there’s the alikeness of Pim and Tess – Elder and Q. The epic fight between Elder and Q. The bonding between Pim and Tess, even Suzette. Baby Lino! Suffice to say, I will never, ever get enough of the Mercers! And if we never get another novella dedicated to them again, cameos like this one are enough to catapult me toward cloud nine.
But I digress, back to Elder and Pim…
After the truly messed-up, evil ending of the previous book left me utterly destroyed, I was anxious to find out how / if things would become right again. My heart hurt for them, broke for them, cheered for them throughout their whole journey, and I desperately wanted them to get what they deserve. Pim, now strong, fierce and brave instead of the silent mouse from the beginning, and Elder, so intense, so much more complex than I would have ever expected, so broken yet not at all, and still so insanely guilt-ridden and heartbroken over his past. These two deserve it all – and more!
Seeing their journey end has me feeling all mixed emotions, but above all, I am incredibly honored to have taken part in it, to have seen these two characters blossom so immensely. This series goes out with a huge bang – and if you liked the first book, you will love this one!
It’s all-consuming, raw, twisty, suspenseful (seeing Elder use his training on his enemies, OMG!), passionate and awe-inspiringly beautiful. Another magnificently woven and multi-dimensional tale, once again vastly different from all its predecessor (I’m not sure how she manages that time and again) by the insanely talented Pepper Winters.
I truly cannot say enough good things about this book!

millions is the last book of the Dollar series, I’m going to miss Elder and Pim so much. two characters that you’re going to love. Elder and Pim are very enigmatic with so many secrets and a past that keeps lurking around but at the end, we finally got to see so much growth after so much pain.
“You did more than love me. You saved me.”
Overall 5 stars, Great series, and characters so in love with Pepper Winters Writing!!!

Loved this series. Could not put down
3.5 stars
