You been warned so you should know what you’re in for. Reader discretion is advised.I’ve spent most of my time in a cage. A beautiful, steel structure that gives me a sense of safety.I’ve been let out and I don’t like … let out and I don’t like this. I can’t tell if this is a mind game or if I’m no longer of use.
Nothing seems real anymore and I’ve been left alone.
I want to be put back into the world I know but he’s been gone for days, and I don’t know when he’ll come home, or if he’ll come home and it breaks my heart.
I won’t try to run.
I won’t try to escape and gain some false sense of freedom.
If I’ve earned that much, there’s no doubt he would have granted it to me.
I don’t know how much longer I can survive without him.
I want him to come home so that I know I haven’t failed him in some way.
Sir? Do you still need me like I need you? Please? Can I go back into the cage?

Yolanda’s books always give me chills and goosebumps! Milk and Honey is a short quick listen and very intriguing. This narration and storyline was quite the experience, but would have loved a more in depth experience! Give me more!!! Please.
While this genre is most definitely not my wheelhouse — horror I mean, this story was still so very well written. Creepy AF and intriguing and yes I found myself totally lost at times because I just couldn’t figure out what was real and what wasn’t. In the end, while I generally like a dark story, this was probably a little over the edge for me…but like I said early, it was truly so superbly well written and yeah, I’m afraid of the authors mind a little :).
Ms Olson does it again, took me on a dark journey full of twists and turns. Then the ending made me feel like I slammed into a wall and was left rattled and confused. If you like dark, twisted and gory as well as wtf moments then this book is for you. There were times I just went ewwww but I couldn’t look away. My heart is always racing as I read Yolanda’s tales and this book was no exception.
This girl has been a prisoner for years, or has she? Perhaps in her mind, perhaps not. I’m not going to spoil it for you. This is a twisted tale of love and desperation for freedom. The characters are interesting and you’ll probably love to hate them. The story certainly kept my attention glued to the screen. Go on I dare you to read it.
Milk and Honey by Yolanda Olson is anything but sweet. Another Complete winner by Ms. Olson.
If you are a huge Dark/Horror with a romance element kind of if you can call it that, then this one is for you. I absolutely love everything Yolanda Olson writes. It is not romance but always seems to have some kind of love element. She has become a one-click, no questions asked.
Milk and Honey is a story of Pet and Sir. But who is really controlling the situation here???
Twists and turns the whole way through.
A winner and always would recommend!
Well sweet baby Jesus, That wasn’t what I thought. In the best way. I really LOVE how this author can mess with your mind. You think one thing then BAM it’s something different. This is a story of a girl, who has been held at a house for like 9 years. One day “SIR” leaves the house. The girl decides that she will make “SIR” proud. She cleans the house after he tests some girls out. But she is worried that “SIR” has left her all alone. She leaves the house to find someone. Ok let me stop before I give away anything. BUT BEST BELIEVE, THIS WILL BE THE MOST MESSED UP STORY YOU READ. If you love DARK/TWISTED books than this is for you. Remember this author don’t write FLUFFY LOVE STORIES so don’t buy this if murder, rape, and just about the most twisted stuff you can think of bothers you.
This book messes with your mind from page 1. Will She Who Has No Name turn into Sir? Will she shy away from what she thinks Sir wants? And where is he??
Riveting and haunting, you won’t know which way is up, and when you get to the end, it’ll all fall into place.
Loved it!!!
