He’s sexy as sin and hotter than hell and—oh wait. What would you do to save a loved one’s life? Make a pact with the Devil? In Diana Kingston’s defense, it was the middle of the night in the deserted hospital chapel… surely it was just a dream. She hadn’t really sold herself to a brooding stranger to save her father’s life, right? Then she wakes and her father is fully recovered and a mysterious … life, right? Then she wakes and her father is fully recovered and a mysterious letter arrives from the tall, dark, handsome—um, Devil? Yep, it was right there on the contract, Lucien Star, aka Lucifer Morningstar, that had been his name in the dream… Gulp. What would the Devil himself want with her? Sex. Three months of hot, sweaty, Friday night sex.
Ooookay. Breaking a pact with the Devil doesn’t seem like a smart move. So she’ll do it—but she won’t like it. Not much anyway. But she starts liking it – a lot—and every night they spend together, she likes it and Lucien a little more. Being with him allows her naughty side to come out and play, but Diana starts to see more than just a sexy-as-sin, rock-hard … er…Anyway, he might be Satan, but even he was an angel once. Kind. Noble. And she sees glimpses of that man still inside him… But how in Heaven’s name do you save the Devil from himself?

I loved this story. Wasn’t what I expected.
That made is so much more interesting
Will watch for more by the author and recommend her books be checked out.
I really loved the storyline in this. It was unique and beautifully written. The characters were amazing and beautifully developed. I really would have liked to see the ending a little different but overall it was a fantastic story. It was well written and the flow of the story was superb. I loved the devil and how he wasn’t all bad. It was a great story to read and very entertaining. It is most definitely worth reading.
What do you expect when you make a deal with the devil? Snark, steam, seduction….love? Diana is a sweet innocent woman who ends up begging for her fathers life to be spared. Lucien Star aka Lucifer the fallen angel makes a deal with her to spare her fathers life in exchange for her to be his for 3 months of friday nights. You really get sucked into this book from the beginning thinking its going to be one kind of story then it catches you off guard and pulls you in and its not what you thought. Getting to see both the jerky side of Lucien and then the softer side really makes this story better. Overall a good read that you will not want to miss.
I really enjoyed this book. For a debut author Emma Castle knocked it out of the park!! This story had me from page one. It was hot and steamy in all the right ways and kept me intrigued until the end. Well done.
I have never read Emma Castle before, so I had no expectations of this…and now I find out this was her first book. Well way to go Emma!! Diana’s dad is on his deathbed, so she has been praying in the hospital chapel. Enter Lucien Star (the Devil). He makes a deal with her, her father will live if she spends from midnight to dawn with him every Friday night for three months. She at first thinks it was a dream, but then her Dad makes a miraculous recovery, and Friday comes and she gets a box with what she should wear that night. She also goes to a mystical bookstore to find out how to deal with the devil. Diana wants to hate every moment with Lucien, but finds herself very drawn to him, and wanting to live fantasies she has had for a long time. She hates that she enjoys her time with him, but is drawn to the good that she sees in him. She has become friends with the bookstore owner, Amara, and Amara tells her that just because an angel has fallen, they are still an angel, so they still have good in them. There are many sexy and funny moments in the book. So many emotions, and an ending I wasn’t expecting, but surely did like. I’d love to have another book about them.
When I started to read this book it reminded me of Lucifer the tv show and how the show started of with him in his club too. But, as the book went on and Diana came into the picture it was different but good. I like how she made the deal with the devil and then it gets interesting as she fights to stay true to herself, and Lucifer also struggles when being near her. This book keeps you thinking as you read more and more about Diana and Lucifer, this book is well written and I love the little details as well.
OMFG!! SPEECHLESS!! JUST SPEECHLESS!!
MIDNIGHT WITH THE DEVIL BLEW ME AWAY!! Emma Castle is a New Author for me and She Had me Intrigued from the Very Beginning of the Book! Once I started reading, I devoured it in ONE Sitting since I Didn’t know what to expect next. I can honestly say that this was NOT YOUR TYPICAL story line and a refreshing change from what I have been reading.
We have Deal with the Devil Himself aka Lucien Star and an innocent girl wanting to save her father. Of course the DEAL is made but comes with consequences that Diana MUST oblige for 3 months until the contract is done. The chemistry between the two characters are Off the Charts Hot and Entertaining at the same time plus the banter between Lucien and Diana.
I don’t want to Spoil anything for you since it is Beautifully written and a Spectator Rollercoaster Ride of Epic Proportions!!
OMFG!! THE ENDING…THE ENDING…TOTALLY CAME OUT OF LEFT FIELD! It had me BLUBBERING like a BABY! Have your tissues handy!!!
I am DEFINITELY looking out for more of Emma Castle Books….you have a FAN FOR LIFE!!
I really liked this book much ore than I expected!! Diana makes a deal with Lucian (Lucifer) to save her father’s life. What happens along the way was a well written, compelling, and surprising love story, and no one was taken more by surprise than the Devil himself. This book was well paced, interesting, and page turner. This was the first book I’ve read by Emma Castle but won’t be the last.
I found this to be a quick easy read. I love a chance to read anything supernatural so when I saw this I wanted to give this book a chance. I enjoyed the book but it reminded me of the movie City of Angels but instead of Nicholas Cage you have the devil. Add the generic Making a deal with the devil plotline.
Though I may sound like I didn’t enjoy the book, I did. The plot is easy to follow and the characters are likable. It’s the perfect book to read after a hard-hitting emotional one.
Would you sell your soul to the devil to save someone you love? That is what Diana did. Three month is the contract, she can do this right?!?!?
This was an intriguing read, more than just your romance. Both Diana and Lucien were in depth characters, defiantly not stereo typical. As the story progresses you get to know their past, their dreams, and their nightmares.
A different plot, romance, sexy, angels, and temptation; this book has all of that. I will confess that I did not know how this books was going to end, if there was a HEA but it took a turn that I did not see coming and the ending was perfect.
I enjoyed reading this book. I love the different take on Lucian, the devil. Lucina meets Diana when she make a deal with him to save her father. She is so sweet she would do anything for her family. They have great chemistry together.
What happens when you get in bed with the Devil, literally?! If you’ve ever wondered then this book is for you. A unique twist on the the bad boy as a H, he is actually the devil in this dark twist read. Very different and well done. Definitely worth the read for the brave at heart.
This book is so good that it’s almost sinful. What you do to save someone you love? Would you make a deal with the devil? That’s exactly the dilemma Diana finds herself in when her father is slowly dying of cancer. But when you make a deal with the devil, you don’t expect to want him with everything. This book was amazingly good. This book is like nothing I have read before. I can’t wait for more from this author.
I really, really liked this book. Yes the story line did remind me a bit of the show Lucifer but I liked it. You go into this book thinking that it is going to be a lot darker than it is,but this book really surprised me. It had heart and an ending that I really loved. I can not wait to read more by this author.
An riveting take on the prince of hell falling for a human woman. Diana and Lucifer strike a deal without realizing they will be falling for each other. What starts out as pure lust turns into something much deeper and it was a great read to get there.
An interesting tale of an innocent (Diana) and the devil (Lucifer/Lucien) and what a person will do to help the one’s they love. Diana makes a deal with Lucifer to save her dad and in return, he gets every Friday with her for three months. Along with the devil, you also meet some other supernaturals who bring many interesting things to the story. A twist you won’t see coming at the end of the story gives you the HEA you were hoping for!
This is not the type of book I would normally read but the author out did herself with this magnificent read. I was immediately drawn in from the beginning and loved the flow of the story. This on kept me guessing on how the ending would turn out and let’s just say I was not expecting that. Totally a one-click read!
This is a new author to me and I will definitely be reading more of her work. I was given a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review. Hope you enjoy!
I love this book!
This book was amazing. I didnt know what to expect when I first started reading it but it definitely took me by surprise.
Lucien, a fallen angel. The devil himself and he wasn’t anything I imagined him to be. He was fair, equal, and seemed almost human that it got me thinking. That’s what makes a great book, when you have the reader thinking. He was sexy, powerful, and just downright sinful. But he was amazing.
Diana, such a pure soul. Someone willing to give up everything for the person they love…that’s what makes a great person. Their unselfishness is their own purity and innocence all around them. And that is what attracted Lucien to her in the first place, her guiding light of pure love all around.
It was a beautiful book and I won’t deny that I cried because it was just so powerful. I loved reading it and trust me you will too. This is a must read.
Great book. Wasn’t sure at first if I would like it but by chapter 3 I was hooked. Couldn’t put it down. This is a page turning thrilling ready. Wasn’t sure what was going to happen and the ending of my was.it a twist. Totally made the book exceptional. New Author for me to read in the future.
Diana will do anything to help her dad feel better. So when she wakes up in the chapel of the hospital where she has been praying for her dad she had the weirdest dream hangover. Wow did it feel real. Then events happen that prove it may not have been a dream after all.
Her pure soul calls to him so Lucian makes a deal for 3 months of her time. Can he corrupt her and bolster shells defences with her goodness?
There is only one problem they both face, love has a way creeping in when it’s least expected.
A sweet but saucy story with an interesting premise
