I loved the story. Marvellous characters who struggle to stay honourable in life. Perfectly written so I kept on reading.
Fun read, but pretty typical of regency romance.
Brought back true historical ways of life. Very good read. Quite enjoyable.
Excellent book. Would readily recommend to friends!
I never did figure out why the midnight marriage was so necessary in this story. Perhaps I’m dense, although I never thought so before. That said, it was a sweet story otherwise. Not earth-shattering, but a light, entertaining read.
An unwanted marriage that the bride doesn’t remember. A chance meeting years later. A twist on your usual boy meets girl romance.
enjoyed reading it
Enjoyed this book. Different than the usual romantic stories. But in the end all was well.
Enjoyed the witty characters
Really liked the characters and the storyline.
Story takes you on a journey into relationships that will make you laugh and then cry. And unpredictable events have you guessing where the characters will fall or rise in an atmosphere of betrayal and love.
Good book for light reading. Just enough romance to keep you reading.
Good book to pass away the time.
Witty, romantic, infuriating, page turner
Hard to read. Kept me confused. Still reading.
This is a very interesting story with enjoyable characters. It was a fun read.
Well written and engaging. It was a little predicable, and even frustrating when the two protagonists were caught in their own realities, but actually very realistic depiction of human nature and young love. A fun read.
I haven’t read a book by Lucinda Brant that I haven’t loved. This one is no exception. I really enjoyed this book.
Really enjoyed it couldn’t put it down
I really enjoyed this author’s style of writing. What a fun book. I didn’t want it to end.
