I loved the heroine. The other characters were a bit far fetched.
fun summer read
I enjoyed this book. It is so totally different from the books I have read lately
I loved it. In the prolog, The heroine is a drugged 12 year old who is being married off to a drunk 16 year old. With an opening like that who can one not forge on to find out what becomes of these two?
Loved it!
I love the writing, the story teller is very good, you can visualize the setting in your mind.
The writing, grammar, etc., was above par but the book lacked heat and the plot simply crawled along. Not worth your time.
Audiobook Review:
An intense, at times humorous, thrilling saga of the union of nobility with all its agony and sacrifices where the individual’s freedom of choice is thwarted at every turn. Yet, from all the cacophony, comes a love so wonderfully deep and poignant, so emotionally fulfilling you wish it were your own. This is the second of Ms. …
A very entertaining regency romantic novel. The story held my attention right to the end.
Easy to read mindless romance. Keeps your attention. Pleasant distraction
A couple surprises in this historical fiction based loosely on a real viscount.
Enjoyable story line but a bit too explicit on the sexual content.
A easy read
Enjoyed the twists in the romp.
Loved how unpredictable this story was. The characters really drew me in.
It takes a while to decide whether to like the hero or not, but some good plot points.
Easy to love the characters on this book, wanted the story not to end
I like light weight stories now and then…but I still want a good tale. This book brought strong interesting characters with a rather unique situation. I thought the author developed an interesting story line with typical romance ups and downs. I liked her style!
Okay, but not realistic; however, these novels rarely are. Good writer.
Enjoyed reading a period romance that was set in a less typical time. Enjoyed the characters as the story built.
