“I quite enjoyed this story. I loved the characters – all of them and especially Michael, himself. The romance aspect was wonderfully written and had enough heat to satisfy this reader and her penchant for the more heated of romance novels.” A Reader

Very good read!
Interesting topic and handled well. Characters are real with depth to them.
A different twist on HEA, teen issues, adoption and developing relationships. Very enjoyable story.
I enjoyed reading this book from Katherine Shay. It dealt with a number of issues that are not often addressed in this type of romantic novel giving it unexpected complexity. Some of these included adoption, death, adolescence, and others all woven together in a good read. It was easy to get lost in this story.
Wonderful Story! Totally enjoyed it.
when a child meets his birth mother for the first time, a wonderful happy ever after happens.
Nice, with a well developed story. The writing was good. I would read additional books by this author.
Found the story very interesting. I’m sure the ending would have been very different if the adopted son’s mother had not died before he searched for his biological mother.
Interesting characters but predictable.
Nice love yarn,
More than just a romance, but that was great! This book gave a very realistic view of what victims suffer through. And how the judicial system works for and sometimes against them. Makes it a smart read. Love the family ties that support the characters.
Awesome
Good book
Having several friends with adopted children I think Luke’s struggle with his son’s desire to meet his birth mother well portrayed. Because it’s fiction, everyone is young and gorgeous and insightful. None-the-less it’s a sweet story. Some of the updating from original 1997 publishing to current ebook is a bit inconsistent but the story reads well and the various relationships are compelling if a bit contrived. Regardless, you will be rooting for this new family to find it’s path to happiness.
This was an engaging and captivating story. I really enjoyed it.
it was to easy to put down and walk away
Awesome story. Best author out there. Loved this one.
