They were just actors auditioning for a play. The marriage was just for the audition – until a clerical error results in a legal marriage. Can these two ex-lovers negotiate this new ground between them and achieve new roles in each other’s lives?Simone Foster has been breaking out of her normal routines more and more lately, and that includes joining the Three Rivers Theater Group. She’s been in … Group. She’s been in several plays but has never landed the lead role. But she’s not going to give up, and she’s thrilled when she makes the cut for the lead. Just one more audition to go…
Micah Walker is new to acting, but he’s not new to his heartrate accelerating every time he sees Simone. They’ve tried a relationship three times, and he joined the Theater Group just to be near her. He and Simone audition for the play — a marriage scene, complete with a kiss — but it’s not real, even if he’s thought about what being married to her would be like.
Then his brother comes over with a marriage certificate, and Micah and Simone learn that the preacher, who was also auditioning for the play, accidentally filed the paperwork from the play along with his real marriage license applications.
She and Micah are married. It was an accident and easily undone, but neither of them want to undo anything. As they navigate this new ground between them, can they rely on their faith – and each other – to discover if they can have a real, lasting, meaningful marriage?

This sweet story was wonderfully written and the characters were so well created that as each page was turned Simone and Micah pulled me right into their story as it effortlessly unfolded!
A second plus chance at happiness.
I have loved this series now book seven has Micah’s story. Micah one of the owners of a ranch with his brothers is also a contractor. Simone Foster is a neighbor and her and Micah have had an on-again-off-again relationship. This tale is a second plus chance for these two characters with a bit of danger here and there. These two first have a fake marriage (or is it?) and then decide if perhaps they will make it real. They face some challenges along the way but I liked how they worked their way through them. It was a good installment to the Seven Sons story-lines. I have loved reading about the Walker brothers and the end of the book brought all the books full circle. These faith-based groups of books are excellent each can be read as a stand-alone but together they are just marvelous. I highly recommend this book and the others in the series too. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Book seven in the Seven Sons Ranch in Three Rivers Romance series, it is the final book for this series. This is brother Micah Walker and Simone Foster’s story. They meet again at the Three Rivers Theater Group and play the lead couple and then find out the preacher who was auditioning with them filed the paper work for their fake Marriage. I enjoyed seeing this story come together, I did find myself crying at some parts as this story makes you feel like you are there watching it happen. This is a series I want to read again. I liked the final wedding scene. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This feels much more like literary fiction than just a simple romance story. There is so very much more going on here than only watching our leading couple fall in love. The author describes this as being more of a family saga than anything else, and I have to agree. Each book builds on the love story of the brother before, making the family bigger and more boisterous with every one. I loved that we get to see how each of the previous couples was doing, but I would also have loved to have had a chance to spend just a little more one-on-one time with Micah and Simone. I really enjoyed getting to know these characters and I’m glad to know we’ll get more opportunities in the future.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
I loved this book and to complete all the 7 brides and their grooms stories in one book was really great – sorry to see it end, but heard there could be more related stories in the works – Micah and Simone seemed to have to grow up quite a bit to find their way down the ups and downs in the way to their HEA!

I’ve been waiting for Micah’s HEA ever since Liam’s story! I was most definitely not disappointed. This book had everything. It was the whole enchilada. Alongside the romance, which had its ups and downs, there was perseverance and forgiveness, tried and family, children and grandparents. There was so much packed into this final Walker book. I think it was the best book of the series. There was so much knowledge and wisdom packed into its pages.

WOW! Just WOW! I have loved this Seven Sons Ranch series since the first book. Micah, the youngest brother, has loved Simone, the youngest Foster sister, since he first met her. Simone has always been insecure and maybe afraid to really make a commitment. In this book they are finally back together dating. There is a genius way that the “mock” marriage happens. (And you know it before the characters do!) The Walker Family Epilogue is priceless. This is a standalone book but it really helps to know all of the other “brothers” and their stories before reading this one. I love the family dynamics between not only the Walkers but also the in-laws. If you have siblings you really identify! The characters are not perfect but they all have a deep faith that they practice and call on to get them through everyday life. If you are looking for clean romance do not miss this book! Liz Isaacson is an excellent author and this series is wonderful!
Wow, just wow. I’ve really enjoyed this series and this last book was absolutely amazing. As I’ve read each book each brother/couple became my favorite. I love them all and would love to be a part of the Walker family. Micah and Simone’s story is a strong book that not only gives you their story but catches you up with the rest of the family.
This book is AWESOME!! It hits all the highs for me, it is clean, it is sweet, it has cowboys, it gives closure and a HEA to all the characters. NORMALLY you don’t have to read the other books before reading any of the others in a series. I THINK you could totally do that with this book too, BUT I am going to say if you don’t read the whole series you are missing out. Liz Isaacson totally hit it out of the park with this series, I was skeptical on how she could do fake marriages with ALL the brothers, but she did and they were all different, she delved in to the personalizes and was spot on. I will be honest the female lead in this book Simone, I really wasn’t a huge fan from the other books she cameo ed in, but i ended up seeing her and seeing why she treated Micah the way she did. He was patient and kind and I love him, just like all the Walkers!! I highly recommend this whole series.
The Walker boys’ parents have taken their daughters-in-law into the family with love. But the brothers and their wives give something special to their mother.
I loved the way Micah and Simone get married by accident, but their love is real for each other. This last book in the series will make you laugh, especially since the family has grown larger and louder and the grandparents are forced to turn off their hearing aids.

Well, that was certainly a grand finale for the series!
Again, the characters were wonderfully realistic––makes the reader feel their joys and sorrows. The pacing was well done.
Nice to see that the HEAs of the previous books are still being worked on. (Sorry, kids, marriage is a work in progress.)
I have been thorough entertained by all the characters in this series and it is fitting that Simone and Micah finally come together in this story

This is the final book in the series featuring the 7 Walker brothers. While it is primarily the story of Micah and Simone, the author ends the series with the culmination of HEA endings for the entire Walker family. I enjoyed the entire series, but especially loved this book because she reintroduced all the brothers, their wives and families to the readers. This is a stand-alone novel but I would recommend reading the series in order to obtain the greatest entertainment value.
The last of the brothers finally gets married. This is not a book you can read as a standalone. There is so much background you need to know, and so much going on with so many people in this nook, it would be too difficult to keep it all straight.
It seemed like all of the brothers and their wives had prominent roles in this book. Micah and Simone finally got together after 3 attempts. I have to be honest, because I still am not sure what Simone’s hangup was that it took 3 attempts to develop a relationship that would stick.
I felt like Micah got involved with something he was only mildly interested in because he thought that was the only way to get close to Simone.
I didn’t like Simone. I tried, but I thought Micah got a raw deal with her. She seemed incredibly selfish. I’m glad Micah was happy, but part of me wondered how long it would be before Simone was unhappy about something again.
This series dealt with so many issues. Marriage difficulties, sibling conflicts, mental health issues, infertility, death, business problems, etc. All the things that people deal with every day. The one consistent factor was their faith carried them through all of life’s conflicts.
I enjoyed the time spent with the Walker family. It was nice that all of the Walker wives fit into the family so well. A sweet, romantic ending to a good series.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
What a great book! I loved the character. Micah and Simone’s relationship is very realistic in most aspects. It is so much fun to keep up with the rest of the Walker family as well. I hope that I can be as good of a mother in law and Grandmother as Penny the mother of the Walker men.
It’s an on again, off again relationship. Will next time be charm? Micah can’t seem to find a wife…. Simone already has broken up with him at least three times. No wonder he’s a little gun-shy
Why???? Why keep breaking up? Was it insecurity on her part since she was six years older than Micah? Did she just not feel a connection? Maybe she was simply afraid of commitment? Just what happened, what broke in their past? Just how did their accidental marriage play out?Sometimes you just need a push. Was that the push Simone needed to see just who and what she had right in front of her?
This is the last book of a sweet family saga series although we’re promised it’s not the last we’ll see of the characters so many readers have grown to love.
OBSERVATIONS:
Loved the delivery scene of Rhett and Evvy’s triplets…. sweet
Characters from past books in this series play a prominent role here too, after all, these brothers are close and it seems most of them married sisters. However, if one hasn’t read the other books, it could be confusing. I’ve enjoyed this author’s books and will continue to read them. I just got lost in this one. I felt like the main characters were not the focal point and all jumbled up with other things.
Too much going on… I’m sure the book is wonderful if you knew what had happened in the past, however, know that you need to read those books. Example: Skylar and Mal???? Their marriage illegal? Then there was Ophelia, an in-between ex of Micah’s ,but I didn’t know that when she first ‘sprung up’ in Micah’s mind. (In-between one of Simone’s break ups with Micah). I just got confused by all the the various characters without basic introductions, other than being siblings/friends. I wanted more Micah and Simone and less past characters.
YUM…..
Recipes Please!…. chocolate hazelnut cake and slow cooker banana cream cheesecake…. they sound delish.

When Micah and Simone get married accidentally during the new play they are auditioning for, they are shocked. Can they make it work this time? They will struggle as all the other Walkers to fins happiness, love, family and faith.

Loved reading about the final brother in this series finding his happy ending. I might of took a while for Simone and Micah to get together and make it work. I have really enjoyed reading about all the brothers.

Now, this story is supremely good!!! The storyline is complete and all the characters just a big WOW. The end of a family story and what an end too. We will get to hear a bit more about some of them according to the ending of this story in the next series from this author. We can all look forward to the next story. This one at least is really deserving the fantastic five stars I am giving it here.
