Meyah wasn’t the same girl she used to be.She was becoming a woman. One who wasn’t afraid to speak up and stand her ground, refusing to go back to that girl who let the world walk all over her and break her down. Her love for Hamlet gave her strength.Meyah knew their relationship was never going to be easy. When misunderstandings and bad decisions threw them off course, they would need to fight … course, they would need to fight even harder to repair the cracks which had appeared. And even then, it was never going to be perfect.
But Meyah didn’t want perfect.
She wanted Ham.
He encouraged her to be herself, to fight for what she wanted. So when Meyah stumbled across the piece of herself which had always been missing, she couldn’t help but want to know more about this man she could finally call Dad.
Huntsman was dangerous, he was deadly, and there were people out there who would do anything to bring him to his knees. And Meyah was about to find herself right in their firing line.
Lines would be drawn.
Loyalties would be questioned.
And love was about to be tested like never before.
*NOT to be read as a standalone. Must read Shake (The Club Girl Diaries Book 8) first.

“I wanted to hate him. I wanted to love him.”
I was so excited to finally get the rest of Ham & Meyah’s story. I had so many questions that needed answers but my imagination didn’t even come close. I love surprises, don’t you?
So many secrets and misunderstandings standing between them. Pride and fear and immaturity also played a part in the situation that forced this young couple to grow up real fast and face their mistakes. They say that hindsight is 20/20, but unfortunately, unless you have a time machine you have to live with your choices. She chose to run and he chose to hide his truth instead of running after her. He had his reasons, but that didn’t make them any easier to bear. Would she ever forgive him? I got a good giggle-snort over her internal dialogue, “I wasn’t sure if I wanted to wrap my hand around his throat or his dick.”
It was so inspiring to see Meyah come out of her shell and grow into the strong woman she was always meant to be. Moving to Arizona to attend college was brave. She missed her family, both of them, blood and brothers. But, at the same time, she enjoys stretching her wings and standing on her own for once. Actually, she’s not totally alone, she has a new roommate. And can I just say that I have a girl-crush on her? Dakota is badass and funny as hell, and she has Meyah’s back from the get-go. The two of them together are entertaining and dangerous. I enjoyed her so much I was mentally matchmaking from the start, wanting her to become a permanent part of their club family. You’ll never guess who caught her eye. Nope, I’m not telling you, you need to enjoy it for yourself.
As I’m sure we all were after reading Shake, I was consumed with curiosity about Huntsman. I wanted to know his story and to find out if he knew that he had a daughter. And then, I was anxious about him learning that she was tied to an MC. After dreaming so long about a relationship with her missing father, would he reject her because of her affiliation? And what about her mother? How would she take it when she learned that Meyah found her father? So many exciting possibilities, right?
Why did Meyah’s mother choose to keep her father’s identity a secret her whole life? Did her aversion to bikers have to do with him? What was she hiding? I couldn’t wait to meet him and had my fingers crossed he would be someone worth having in her life. I knew he was dangerous, but in a good way, or not?…hmmm.
So many exciting things happening in this gripping story. I could not walk away from my Kindle, it’s a good thing I have it in a kiddie case with a handle on it. The action and suspense had me on the edge of my seat, worrying about the characters that I’ve grown so attached to. I was very moved by this emotional journey. I felt the strong connection between Ham & Meyah and hoped their love was strong enough to overcome the miles between them. I especially enjoyed meeting some new characters that I hope I will get to spend some more time with in the future. The line forms here…
I enjoyed reading of Meyah grow to strong young woman. She goes threw hell along the way. But Ham and her family always has her back. She also gets answers about her mother’s past. I love this series. I can’t wait to read more.
As always, a phenomenal addition to the series! I love Ham and Meyah so much and I’m glad that Addison chose to do their relationship justice and split it into two books. Incredible, gripping writing that had you on the end of your seat.
“A few months ago, I’d thought I was stronger because of the club and because I had Ham beside me, helping support me, lifting me up when I felt like I couldn’t do it myself. I was wrong. I just needed time to find that strength within myself without my mom, or the club, or Ham trying to protect me or shelter me. I needed to take the time to find my own strength.”
This is part two of Ham & Meyah’s story and well it was everything! When this book begins Meyah and Ham are both in limbo..we watch them fight for each other and for themselves as they go on their journey to HEA. Meyah is still running from things she thought she saw months ago; things Ham has allowed her to believe in the name of protecting her. But what Ham doesn’t realize is the distance that he’s put between them (even with the best of intentions) has forced Meyah to change, to stand on her own two feet and become the woman she’s meant to be; on her own terms. Seriously, the Meyah we meet in part two is so very different from the girl we’ve seen in the past instead of the timid, shy girl she has grown into this feisty strong young woman; taking no shit and ready to take on the world with Ham by her side. Because the truth is when you just know someone is “it” for you; you fight for them. And these two will definitely get you in all the feels
There is so much growth, action, amazing new characters & suspense on this emotional roller coaster ride that Addison Jane is taking us on and I seriously cannot wait to see where she takes us next with this series.
I don’t even know how to write this review without spoiling things. I’m going to do my best. This story is Addison’s best yet. I thought Wrench and Sugar’s story was great, but this is another level of epicness. The growth in this story was tremendous and so much more than that one word. Meyah had unbelievable growth in her character. She is one of my all-time favorite females in an MC story.
We pick up where Shake ended. Meyah feeling hurt and betrayed by her family, she does what her mom taught her, and runs. What she does after running is to fight. She finds herself and becomes strong as hell. Meyah may be bent, but nobody will break her.
Shake has a lot to atone for. He has to lay it all down for Meyah. He comes in fighting and staking a claim. I liked him better in this story than his own. he steps up and endures. I really liked his interaction with Huntsman. You could see how much he would fight for Meyah and the lengths he’s would go for her.
Op, Leo, and the other brothers all played important role in Meyah becoming the woman she was. They gave her their strength but also hurt her. I loved how she processed forgiveness for the hurt and understanding she didn’t let it break her though she took that fire they started in her and burned it brightly so no one would snuff it out.
Huntsman kicked ass. I had a big smile on my face reading his interactions with Meyah. Add Ripley and the other brothers and it had me bouncing with excitement.
Then what does Addison do but leave clues that you know, excrement will hit the oscillating unit. I was scared for what she cooked up. She gave me an explosion of feelings. I was vibrating with hate, anger, fight, and love.
I can’t spoil but there is SO MUCH that comes to light in this story. Secrets that find the light of day.
Meyah’s mom…what can I say. The roller coaster her and Meyah endure. It breaks your heart as a mom but also mends it. She fights for her daughter the only way a mother could. I really liked how that unfolded.
When stuff starts flying, it is nerve-wracking. I just wanted to light this imaginary world on fire. I don’t want to spoil but this book hits you when you’re already down and doesn’t pick you up until Addison’s ready for you to have a HEA. you get the HEA but she makes you work for it. this book was consuming, maddening, and a burn that hurt so good.
I have so much I want to write but then it would ruin the story, and I don’t want that. At first Wrench’s story was still my favorite, but Meyah… it blew any notion I didn’t even have out of the water. I am a huge Addison fan, but this is her best yet.
This story closed the duet beautifully. It leaves a lot open for the future. I cannot wait to see where Addison takes us. 5 glorious pointe shoes for a story that consumed me. I recommended it already to a reading buddy. EPIC!
Meyah, the 9th book in the Club Girl Diaries just blew me away. This young girl has grown into such a strong woman and if you didn’t love her character before you will fall in love with her in this book. This second part to their story will have you captivated, frustrated, shocked and outright addicted. Ham and Meyah will have to confront the hurt, the secrets and the fact that their is nothing and no one that is more important than they are to each other. As the people that care about them and have their backs grow choices will need to be made to ensure not a minute is wasted. Theirs is a true love story but with the grit that we all love from the MC to keep us enraptured right up till the end.
Another great book from Addison Jane. Loved this book. Meyah has been thru so much but then so has Ham all to protect Meyah. There’s action, danger, secrets and may be some triggers for some. Excellent read.
