I loved how a surprise gift led to long lasting love
Adults acting like teenagers. Dull
Fun and flirty!
How refreshing to find a book without all the explicit sex!
I found it slow to develop.
Quick, relaxing read w/happy ending.
Good guys do exist
Wasn’t a straight forward love story. Had enough twist in it to keep you reading and enthralled
A cop hating Christmas engages with a girl who loved holidays.
Kind and caring. Too much sex.
Kind of predictable
Sweet couple. Cliche premise that they hide secrets because their afraid to loose each other. But they are a cute couple and it works out in the end.
Packs a whole lot into 2 weeks. Not sure how she had time to work. It is fundamentally a very sweet Christmas story of people actively involved in their churches. It never explains a totally unwillingness to receive by people so willing to give. It adds a whole lot of sex scenes … I skimmed them cause they did not add to the story. But, things just didn’t jell. On the other hand, I liked the story and characters enough to be rooting for them and to keep reading.
Merry Me was a sweet, heartwarming story that was overflowing with love, laughter and holiday cheer. Elliot and Lynn were two people who had suffered great losses, however one chose to see the spirit of the holiday season and the other let the sadness overtake. However as these two spent more time together Christmas weaved its magic and soon love and happiness was all that Elliot could see. A beautiful story that will leave you filled with joy.
This book was sweet but I honestly got tired of Lynn wanting to do everything on her own. I get that she was a single mom and had to work for everything she had but Elliot was willing to help her out. This story is about two people who experienced loss and how they heal from it. Elliot lost his mom and his Christmas spirit. His focus is on his job as chief of police and protecting his town. His dad tries to help but it’s no use. It take Lynn coming into his life for him to see how great Christmas is again. These two are cute together and I love how Elliot interacts with her daughter. This was a great start to the series and I can’t wait to read more!!
Elliot is hurting because he misses his mother, even more so during the holidays since it was her favorite time of year. Lynn is a single mom to, sweet 7 year old, Laura. She wants Laura to have a wonderful holiday but money is always tight. She still manages to have a gift to donate through the church. Elliot mistakenly ends up with Lynn’s gift and sets out to return it.
This was my first time reading an Amanda Siegrist book. Merry Me is a sweet, holiday romance. I’m not a huge fan of insta love stories but this wasn’t too bad. Quick, easy read if you need a little holiday pick me up.
I loved this book because I’m a sucker for a good Christmas romance book and this one did not disappoint. It was a sweet, beautiful story that put me in the holiday spirit. The storyline was well written and flowed perfectly. It started off a bit slow for me, but after a couple of chapters it kicked in and once it kicked in I couldn’t put it down.
The characters were perfect together. Those sparks flew from the get-go. The author really had me feeling like I was there with them. My heart went out for Chief Elliot Duncan and for Lynn Carpenter for everything they both endured. I loved Elliot’s huge heart, no matter what happened in life he would always do anything for anyone else. As for Lynn, I love her dedication to her beautiful daughter, Laura.
I have enjoyed reading this book. Merry Me is the first book in A Holiday Romance Novel and I am looking forward to reading book two; Mistletoe Magic.

I truly fell in love with this story! This was true love of Elliott & Lynn brought together by fate & God. Elliott did not like or celebrate Christmas since his mom died 3 years ago. She loved Christmas & decorating & baking. Lynn also loved Christmas but struggled making ends meet. She always made sure her daughter Laura got 5 presents under the tree. The way they were brought together time & again was definitely the hand of God. Must read book & page turner. I would so Love to see another book on Elliott, Lynn, Laura , Gregory & Abby.
Oh my where to start. I totally enjoyed reading this book. I love Christmas and I love happy endings. Elliot and Lynn were like a match made in heaven for definite. You never know what a small gift can do. Lynn has a daughter Laura who she does everything for her before herself as she don’t have much money. I love instant connections like you know that other person is your soul mate. Elliot and Lynn face some problems and your imagination goes wild not knowing the outcome. Page turner from beginning to end. Elliot’s dad is so warmhearted just like Elliot and they both enjoy Lynn and Laura and love helping them out. The ending was fabulous and definitely what I was hoping for. Thank you Amanda. 5 Stars!!!!!!!!!!!!
I couldn’t finish this book. It dives into the romance immediately. I couldn’t buy into that. The characters didn’t seem real to me. When I realized about half way through the book that I was not only full of disbelief, but bored as well, I decided it was time to move on.
