Fate has thrown single mom Lynn and police chief Elliot together. For the first time since his mother died, Elliot begins to feel the holiday spirit, thanks to Lynn.
But there are obstacles along the way, not the least of which is the spoiled blonde determined to tear them apart so she can have Elliot for herself.
I loved this book! 5 easy stars!
I have read and enjoyed many of Amanda Siegrist’s novels and to have some romance and Christmas cheer in July is very welcome.
Elliot’s mother loved Christmas, the smells, the music, so Elliot did too. But, now, his mother is gone. His father tried to make it good for them, but Elliot had closed his heart, not letting anyone in.
The mystery gift..
Merry Me by Amanda Siegrist is an uplifting, heartwarming, karma – give good get good and it comes back to you – sacrifice, love and clean romance. At times it will cool you off and other times it will heat up your reading. This wonderful romance is perfect for any time of year.

Merry Me is the first book in a Holiday Romance Novel series written by Amanda Siegrist. This is a holiday feel good kind of book. It is a contemporary romance that will make even the biggest Grinch enjoy Christmas. This was a very quick and easy read. It has humor, drama and of course romance. This was a very good Christmastime story. I am looking forward to the next book.
A feel good Christmas story.
4,5 Stars for Merry Me ( Holiday Romance Novel #1)
This is a fairly new author to me but as Christmas is my favourite time of year this book was always going to be on my radar and it did not disappoint.
This is Elliott Duncan and Lynn Carpenter’s story and their take will appeal to all romance lovers. Police Chief Elliott Duncan dislikes everything about the holiday season but when single mum Lynn Carpenter leaves a gift on his doorstep he has idea how to return the gift without offending.
Lynn a single mum to Laura, she is strong, sassy and is used to doing things for herself so when Elliott offers help it goes against everything she believes in….
This is a sweet holiday romance, two people not looking for love find themselves wrapped up in the magic of the holiday season and it’s takes them both working together to bring the Christmas spirit back into their lives. Wonderful, magical romance and I adored this story.
The present on the porch is a great mechanism to bring together lonely Elliot and Lynn.
4 Star review of Merry Me (Holiday Romance #1) by Amanda Siegrist
Amanda Siegrist is a a relatively new author to me. This as a sweet holiday read that left me smiling hen I had finished. This is Police Chief Elliot Duncan and single mum Lynn Carpenter’s story and was a story that had me hooked from the first to the last chapter.
I really liked Lynn, she was sassy, feisty and a great mother to Laura, although perhaps a little bit too determined to do things herself. Elliot hates Christmas but it’s amazing ho one simple gesture can turn someone’s feelings around; meeting Lynn changes everything for Elliott.
This was a sweet, holiday romance and I loved the relationship that Elliott developed with Laura. Elliott and Lynn bring the holiday spirit back into one another’s lives , after all it is the season for Christmas miracles. and
Was a cute book..but i felt the writting was not as a seasoned writer would have..i dont know anything about this author but that’s just the way it seemed to me.. but again the book was cute
Could not get interested
A delightful story of extremely wonderful and model love and affection!
The writing was a little elementary. For the main character to be the Chief of Police and thirty-five he had some real self-esteem issues.
Good read
I loved this book! I didn’t want to put it down because I couldn’t wait to see these two get their HEA. They clearly are meant for each other. Their meeting is by chance, maybe with an assist by some holiday spirit. They are absolutely adorable. I will absolutely look for more by this author.
Good romantic book easy read
enjoyed the story
Very cute and actually enjoyed it however, a little to much like a fairytale.
I remember years ago reading books like this by Janet Daley and enjoying them.
Entertaining story. The storyline is a little over the top to be believable.
A wonderfully written book with many emotions. You really become invested with the characters and their stories.
very lite reading. It moved to fast to realize everything happened in approximately two weeks time. Would have liked more of a challenge with the characters.
