Naughty
What can I say? I’m not a nice person. When I walk by, people call me a slut, and I’m okay with that. I believe in calling a spade a spade. I am a slut.
With the holidays approaching, I miss belonging to The Last Riders. Drake’s keeping me warm, but he wants more than I can give. He wants me to trust him, to believe he can protect me. Doesn’t he know Santa put me on the Naughty List long … Naughty List long ago?
Nice
What can I say? I’m a nice guy and have always done the responsible thing.
Bliss is everything I shouldn’t want, but it’s hard to resist a woman who stopped believing in miracles. She wants to be back with The Last Riders, whom she considers her true family. Doesn’t she know it’s Christmas, and miracles do happen?

I have become addicted to Jamie Begley’s books. I absolutely adore her Last Riders series, and Biker Bitches is a close second. In Merry Blissmas, the feisty Bliss meets her match after believing she lost all she has in the world.
Summary:
Bliss is not a nice girl. In fact, she’s down right naughty and Santa put her on that list long ago. She’s okay with that. She came to terms with the type of woman she was ages ago, and now that she’s lost The Last Riders, it’s too late to change. She finally made one mistake too many. With the holidays approaching, she’d give anything to be back in the fold. Since that’s not an option, she’ll fill the loneliness that seems to follow her around with Drake Hall. The only problem is he wants more than she has to give. Can this nice guy teach the naughty girl that if she puts her faith in the right place, all her Christmas wishes will come true and miracles will happen?
I’ve liked Bliss from the beginning of the series, so I was a bit disappointed in her cruel behavior against some of the women and her attitude toward their marriages. After reading her story, I understand much better what she was going through, and like her more than I did before. Bliss has always been sensual, sexy, and every man’s fantasy. She excels at it. That’s why you’d never guess the pain or insecurity hiding behind her carefully constructed facade. I loved her fiery spirit, but I think that vulnerability is what called to me about her character. I loved her with Drake, too. Don’t get me wrong, seeing her with the men from The Last Riders was hot, but watching her get everything she needed from Drake, and seeing it was just as hot, was hotter. Lol. Drake was strong, fierce, protective, possessive, and a little bit crazy. Exactly what Bliss needed. This Biker Bitch book was a sweet glimpse into the real Bliss, and I loved it. I laughed, I definitely cried, and I cheered her on. I’m happy it ended the way it did, and happy to see Bliss understand that she can rely on more than just the men of The Last Riders. Now, I cannot wait for Train and Killyama’s story. It will be awesome! I’m also intrigued by Jackal and Penni’s coming book. Penni is a hoot and I’m sure she’ll make any book a treat to read. <3
Ms. Begley took what seemed like a totally unredeemable character and made her a worthy heroine. If you have read the Last Riders series you know that Bliss was a bitch and most women wanted to tar and feather her. She was self absorbed and narcissistic. In this book we finally understand what shaped and formed Bliss as a young child and the horrific things that occurred during her young adult life. Drake was the perfect hero for Bliss and was committed to making her see her own self worth. You still may not like Bliss after reading this book but at least you see what made her the way she is. I was happy to see Bliss finally get her HEA and gain an understanding of what true love really is
*****SLIGHT SPOILERS*****
What can I say? I liked it! As a whole, it was entertaining & never boring. (Thank you Porter brothers for your craziness!) It wasn’t my absolute favorite but it wasn’t my least favorite in the series either. I stand by my original thought that I feel like the book came too soon in the series. I think there should’ve been at least one book that came before “Sweet Bliss'” Hallmark-perfect HEA, only because I would’ve loved to see her gain some independence before jumping into a relationship. (I mean, she JUST got kicked out in the last Last Riders book.) That aside, I adored Bliss & Drake’s HEA. They really do compliment one another beautifully.
For me, Bliss will always be like a bigger version of Evie; in that, I still won’t like her when I re-read the books prior to this one. (I feel the same way when I do re-reads of Razer’s Ride. No matter how much I like Evie now, she still ticks me off for what she did to Beth.) So, Before Drake… that Bliss will ALWAYS be on my sh** list & I don’t feel bad about it. Her past, of course I feel bad about what she went through when she was younger. That was awful to learn about what she went through with Stark, his club & the rest of her family & how it affected her future BUT… just because I can now understand why she acted out, it doesn’t excuse her behavior towards the wives. Now, After Drake… I liked that Bliss. I liked the new job she takes on, I liked her relationship with Jace & Cal, her blossoming friendships with Ginny & Jessie, I liked her with Drake & the chemistry they had together & I loved her with Darcy. From here on out, I don’t have a beef with her & that thrills me to pieces!
On to my favorite thing about the book… Drake! He was truly a dream come true & was just what Bliss needed to put herself back together. He helped her heal in so many ways & he was so damn sexy. He made her feel desired, loved, confident, cherished & did ANYTHING & EVERYTHING he needed to to make her happy. Bliss was one very lucky woman, even if Drake wouldn’t put out in the beginning. *giggles*
My favorite things… besides Drake…
*Ginny- Loved that she wasn’t totally predictable & how she handled being roomies with Bliss. Looking forward to learning more about her & her possible love interest!
*Jessie Hayes- Clever way to bring her into the fold. Love her already & CAN’T WAIT to see if my guess is right, & she gets matched up with Dustin in the future! #ClaimingHisEnemy
*The Beauty Salon Visit- LOVED how upfront Sex Piston was with Bliss & how she showed that her heart is made of pure gold. ADORED the “Train Tips” Bliss passed on to Killyama. The wait for Train & Killyama’s story is killer!!
*Rider- Loved learning how he got his name! Can’t wait to learn more about his “freak-of-nature” status & how he hopefully will hook up with Jo!!
My not-so-favorite things…
*The whiny Bliss moments- “I miss the women who were my friends, I miss Beth & Razer’s twins, I miss the men.”, “They started getting married & they didn’t need me anymore.”, “I couldn’t be friendly with the women who were taking the men away from the club.”… *insert eye rolls, snorts & head shakes here* All I could think was, C’mon, Bliss… Explaining yourself is one thing but enough of the excuses!
*Bliss’ ALMOST involvement with another Porter- Almost fell off of the treadmill when I read that scene. So. Not. Cool.
*The love yous happened a bit too soon for me. I wanted a few more “together time” scenes before those words were uttered but admittedly, I’m greedy like that. Ha ha.
If you’re on the fence about this one, please consider giving it a shot. It’s definitely worth reading. I dare you to NOT fall in love with Drake! It’s impossible… trust me on this one.
LOVED getting a sneak peek at the prologue to Hostage (Predators #3), Penni & Jackal’s book! CAN’T WAIT to get my hot little hands on the whole thing!!
