This is the third part of the Dark Sea Academy trilogy, and if you haven’t read Mermaid’s Song, you’ll want to do that first. The following description contains spoilers for the first books… Every other princess prepares to rule her kingdom after her father’s death. Me? I have to get ready to rule all underwater kingdoms—after killing my father.I already fulfilled the prophecy once. Kind of. I … prophecy once. Kind of. I have no interest in killing again.
But no one asked what I want.
It’s this stupid Queen Sirena prophecy. My father—my real, biological father—is obsessed. And he’s the king, so he gets what he wants. Namely me, embracing a destiny I fear.
As I come to terms with my new reality, I find myself alone, cut off from my best friend and boyfriend and unable to convince my parents this is all a terrible idea.
My father, the king, wants me to kill him. He’s set plans in motion to make it happen.
I’m too weak to refuse. And hopefully too strong to succeed.

This Has been a great series and in this third book we finally get some answers. I love the storyline, love the characters and would totally recommend this series to any fantasy / mermaid fan!
What a perfect ending to this trilogy, it did not feel at all like a YA read! The writing is intense, full of twist and turns and with a little bit of lovin’ thrown in and draws you in from the first word in book 1 right up to the fantastic ending in book 3. Emotions ranged from feeling sappy to feeling enraged to cheering Marra on and wanting to punch her enemies (haha).. the twist at the end of the trials almost made my heart stop! True to herself, Stacy Claflin has outdone herself once again with this trilogy and I, for one, can’t wait to see what she comes up with next

I highly recommend this trilogy and the other books written by Stacy Claflin. This book is bittersweet as it is the last one! There are more surprises, with twists and turns again. Mara continues to develop and grow in her strength and confidence…this helps her to deal with the tricky situations that come her way. I really like her curiosity too, a key aspect of her personality. I don’t want to write any spoilers. You will wish that there is another book around the corner!

This third book in the series was great. Marra will face the toughest battle of her life. With Bash and Halen by her side offering their support, Marra will forge ahead and embrace her powers before they kill her. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily reviewing.
I loved it! I loved the whole series! Didnt want it to end. Love all the characters, good and bad. Makes me want to become a mermaid and go live in Valora. I highly recommend you give it a try.
Super book
Mermaid’s Wish is the third book in the Dark Sea Academy series by Stacy Claflin.
This book picked up right where Mermaid’s Heart left off with Marra having to deal with the shocking information about her family.
I’ve really enjoyed this series and hope there will be additional books so we can see what is going on with Marra and Bash, Tiberias and Emery, and Halen.

A few months ago Marra was living on land with her mother and father. Now she’s a mermaid princess living in an underwater kingdom. She’s killed the man she always believed was her father and now knows that the King, her uncle is really her father. And he and her mother have always been in love and are planning to get married. Marra has been reunited with her childhood bestie, fallen in love, and now must fulfill a prophecy and assume all of Queen Sirena’s powers. But first, she must pass three trials. Trials that nearly killed Sirena and ended with her killing her father. Marra is convinced that this is all a terrible idea. Too bad she can’t make anyone else see things her way.
This is a book of two halves/a review of two halves. I was not a fan of the first half of the book. At all! Marra came across as an immature brat acting out, disrespecting of others and rude to Bash. So much whining, so much feeling sorry for herself; suspicious of her parents, especially her dad, and snarky to her trident. Plus, I took issue with part of the storyline. Missing books/possible plants were never explained. Luckily, when Marra finally decided to accept Sirena’s powers the book took a turn for the better. The trials were a definite strong point. I wish they weren’t so rushed, I would have liked more detailing. I love Marra’s interactions with the trident (Never found out if it was a he or a she!) I would have liked for Frost to visit or even transfer to the academy. Surely strings can be pulled. I also would have also enjoyed a royal wedding.
Finally Full Power, but at what cost?
Bash’s job after graduation? WOW! Did not see that coming LOL!
I absolutely LOVE this series, the characters, the storyline, the underwater city, the anticipation, the signs of love, the trust more and more people start to show for each other & so much more.
The description and other reviews tell you even about the story so I won’t do repeats or give away any spoilers, but PLEASE tell me there’s more to come. Do we get to follow the years of school, be there when Marra chooses to rule or not? Learn more about Halen and Frost, Bash and Marra’s future, how her parents are doing, any updates on Earwig/Earwyn and her dogfish, oh my goodness, my questions just keep coming to mind.
If you haven’t decided about this series, leave no doubt in your mind, grab the 1st Mermaid’s Song and follow along, you will not be disappointed at all!!
Thank you for an amazing beginning new series!
mermaids rule!
Marra keeps struggling with her powers, school and the bullying doesn’t stop. With the jaw dropping news of who her real father is and fulfilling her Siren destiny is overwhelming her. Time is running out and Marra needs to get ready for her Trials and figure something out make sure everyone survives. Epic conclusion to this mermaid tales! *read it with my kindle unlimited *
The final battle is getting closer. King Tiberius wants for Marra to pass the trials in order to achieve all the Queen sirena’s powers even if it means killing him? Will Marra get through it? I received a free copy of this book by StoryOrigin and I voluntarily reviewed it
