I love Jodi Picoult. This book did not disappoint as usual.
Ohhhh this book. I read it a few years ago and still think of it from time to time.
I’m always a fan of Piccoult. While her work is great fiction, it also deals with real world issues and takes the reader into the complexities of those issues and how they might affect the characters and, possibly, ourselves. Mercy is no exception.
Jodi Picault has a special talent for writing about difficult, complex things. You come to love every character in this book, and yet you’re called to watch them make serious mistakes that you think you could never forgive them for. But the book has a higher lesson to teach.
Very captivating and passionate read!
