Perfect ending to their story

Smexy:
Triggers: none
Perfect conclusion to the duet. Look forward to reading the next book in the series .
Just reading the first chapters you know you’re in for a good story, so much emotion going in, death, betrayal, hatred, love and sorrow. Powerful start to Mercy.
After what has happen the question ‘how do you come back from this’ is definitely playing on your mind you don’t want to stop reading and this is just from the first chapter.
After everything that has gone down Zeek needs help from his brother if he and Jillian are going to survive but they are estrange he’s from another club and Zeek killed one of their members.
Retribution must be made.
Mercy is for the weak, only the strong survive, Zeek is not about to beg for help.
As you are reading this you do wonder how the heck they are going to get out of this mess, things get complicated very quickly.
The ending is perfect it’s what you would expect for an outlaw and a rookie.
If you haven’t read Reign (Sin City Outlaws #1) then stop right now. Go read it and then come back. You’ll thank me afterwards.
I’ve been dying to see what happens with Zeek and Jillian after Reign. Thankfully I didn’t have to wait too long to get the rest of their story.
Mercy picks up exactly where Reign left off. I won’t recap that just to be safe that it doesn’t spoil anything for anyone. Zeek is the President of the Sin City Outlaw MC who fell in love with Jillian, a local Deputy Sheriff. They should have stayed away from each other but they couldn’t. Due to dire circumstances, Zeek and Jillian are forced to be on the run. Unfortunately, due to what happens to make them have to run, there is very intense emotional damage between the two of them.
“How can you love and hate someone all at the same time? I love him so much that it fuels my hatred for this man.”
Their journey in this conclusion is highly emotional, raw, turbulent and full of angst. Yet, you can’t help rooting for them. Of course we want to root for the bad boy outlaw and the good girl Deputy Sheriff. We always want what we can’t/shouldn’t have.
In my review for Reign, I mentioned that I wanted more grit and assertiveness from Zeek. Well, I certainly got it in Mercy.
“He made this beast, fed this monster for years, and now he’s about to see his masterpiece firsthand.”
One of my favorite parts is the relationship between Zeek and his brother Lip. We learn a little of their backstory in Reign but we get to know more about their history and we meet Lip for the first time. I absolutely adore Lip and I hope we get his story!
Overall, I’ve really enjoyed their journey and look forward to more form M.N. Forgy!
Loved, loved, loved the conclusion of the Sin City Outlaw Series Mercy! Mercy is book 2, and you have to read book1 to fully appreciate and understand the story. Mercy begins right where Reign ends and the thrill ride continues from beginning to end! Zeek and Jillian go on a sharp, twisted gut wrenching cat and mouse chase, that had me glued to the pages. Jillian and Zeek discover secrets that can either make or brake their steamy, magical, twisted romance. Roles are reversed and the results were delicious.
Mildred and Donald added a special touch to this sexy read!
The author once again blows your mind with the writing I mean come on starts where it stopped, the characters only got better not worse and holy hell did the story just fly right off the pages. If you haven’t read anything by this author before beware she will knock you on your ass. The amount of details in this story make everything flow really well and great together. Everything had it’s own place. MN Forgy did an amazing job writing the second story better then the first but still just as amazing. Since the characters don’t really change at all just become strong as people together and apart from each other not much to really say about them. MUST READ!!!! 2 Person POV story it will make you laugh, cry, love, hate, and all around laugh. The journey the characters go on really change the way you see things and hear things in general in your everyday life.
