Assassin. Private Investigator. Cat shifter.Kat is used to killing people, but for a blank cheque, she’s willing to do the opposite and help solve a murder – even though it sounds boring as hell. That is, until she finds some body parts in her fridge, makes friends with the neighbourhood cats and realises there may be an assassin better than her… things have become purrfectly exciting.
An urban fantasy full of cats, secrets and murders. This is a slow-burn reverse harem where Kat will find her love interests over time. Book one in the Catnip Assassins series.

Another excellent series starter from Skye MacKinnon! This is a wonderful RH urban fantasy, action-packed and full of intrigue, suspense, adventure and of course shifters! The plot twists are excellent and the interactions between the characters had me snickering and laughing out loud throughout the story. Can’t wait for the next installment!

Great new story by the fabulous Ms. MacKinnon! Kat is a panther shifter who’s also an assassin, until she finds out someone is killing shifter children. Kat goes from assassin to investigator to help along with her co-workers and her new spy network.
I loved all the cats in the story; they each had their own quirky personalities.
I can’t wait to see what comes next for Kat and her Meow group!
I received an ARC from the author. This is my honest review.
It took a little bit before I got into this but I’m glad I stuck it out. As usual for Skye MacKinnon there are some interesting twists and turns and the characters are compelling. I don’t want to give it away, but the cliffhanger left me wanting more without being upset that is a happy for now conclusion. If you like quirky, this is a good book, you won’t be disappointed.

Meow
Catnip Assassins Book 1
Skye MacKinnon
This was a wonderful story. I loved the characters, and the storyline. It was full of adventure and enough twists to keep you entertained throughout the book. It kept me up reading until the end!! Loved it!
Kat is an assassin. And a panther. She was trained and collared by the Pack as a child and was freed 15 years later by a Mystery Man. Kat starts her own assassin business, Meow, and gathers some like-minded colleagues. Things change when a man hires her to find out who killed his brother, rather than to do the deed herself. The more information Kat finds the more complicated and far reaching the case becomes. Along the way Kat reunites with her only childhood friend, meets a human assassin with a bit extra, and allies with a pack of feral cats. Kat is a fantastic character and some of her dialogue (both aloud and internal) had me laughing out loud. I voluntarily reviewed this book.

I really enjoyed this book! I can’t wait for the second book! The storyline was good! I can’t wait to read what happens next in the series!
Being a slave to the pack is not a life she wanted. She is given the chance at freedom and takes it. With a request to solve a murder she get more then she bargained for.

While I usually do not read slow burn reverse harems because they tend to be borish for me, this one had enough action and suspense in it that it is not going to bother me. I love how the author took time to let us get to know all the characters while giving us plenty of storyline with the team. I truly enjoyed Kat’s cat team and let me say that the reveal at the end of the book makes me wish that I had the next book in the series to start reading.
