City boy seeks small town romance with country girl chasing big city dreams. An unexpected internship takes graphic designer Zoe Wilson to New York City. Experience has taught her that pouring her heart into her work is better than pinning her dreams on a man. Especially one her Art House friends think she should like. Nick has everything he could ever want, except a wife. Most of the socialites … except a wife. Most of the socialites he knows are more interested in what his money can do for them, than the good it could do for the world. Down to earth Zoe isn’t interested in him or his billions and puts him in the friend zone. Too bad Nick can’t stop thinking about her.
Lost in the City, Zoe is forced to turn to the one person she wants to avoid, Nick. As their friendship grows, they both learn lessons in trust. A #MeToo incident from her past tests their relationship. Can love be more than just words?

Another glorious book in this wonderful series. I just can’t help but fall more and more in love with each character as the stories process. This one was inventive, fun, and so utterly romantic. Lorin Grace paints a vivid picture straight from her imagination onto the pages of our ebooks and for that I thank her!
This was a good book.
Lorin Grace has done it again.
This story, the characters and the plot are amazing.
I love this series.
Finding herself in the Big Apple, small-town girl and artist Zoe has much to learn. She discovers not only a new job but a very different lifestyle to which she is accustomed. She does have help from her eclectic mix of colleagues, but mostly from millionaire Nick who discovers that he cannot get her out of his head after being part of the wedding party of their best friends. Not everything Zoe discovers is exhilarating and exciting as she finds that there is a darkness in people no matter where you come from. Fortunately, Nick and Sebastian are there for her at every turn and the ties of friendship extend way beyond the dorm room from college days. This book is generally well written with a good plot. It is part of a series and in spite of the fact that a number of characters from previous novels appear in this book too, the story is a standalone and comes to a happy conclusion. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
This book was amazing. I couldn’t put it down. Zoe has a standoffish-way about her that tends to keep men at bay. Nick saw the barriers and decided to scale those walls one date at a time. The chemistry between the two was great. I like that Nick was sensitive to Zoe during an incident at her workplace. This book touches on the #METOO campaign. The author did a good job of showing what can happen to the victims during and after sexual harassment/assault. I highly recommend this book to those that enjoy books about women overcoming and sweet clean romance.
Zoe Wilson got an internship that was helping her to realize her dreams. Even before graduation, she was offered a wonderful opportunity to work for a large design firm in New York City. She was a farmer’s daughter living in the big city living her dream.
Nick Gooding was a billionaire real estate investor who had everything he ever wanted, except a wife and family. When he met Zoe, there were sparks, but she was determined to keep him in the friend zone. She didn’t care about his wealth and had trust issues. She had been assaulted two years earlier and she wasn’t ready to begin dating and certainly not to a rich guy who could have any woman he wanted. But, Nick only wanted Zoe. She was kind and sweet and everything he wanted. He was ok with just being her friend, for now.
Was it possible for there to be more or would they forever just remain friends? Could Nick prove to Zoe that he could love her and protect her and she could trust him?
I have read several books by this author and have enjoyed every one of them. I especially liked this one because it deaIt with the difficult issue of what happens to the victim when they are assaulted and how, many times, they are victimized over and over again by the media, and the lies that are spread about them.
I was given an arc copy of this book and I willingly offer my review.
I love this series and this newest addition did not disappoint. I love that Nick Gooding was brought back and that he got a HEA with Zoe. The author covered some sensitive topics, but I thought she handled it very well and helped us understand them better. I loved how loving and sensitive Nick was throughout the entire book. Zoe had things to work through and figure out and thankfully she had her wonderful Art House sisters and Nick to help her. I can’t wait for the next book!
Mending Words with the Billionaire is a clean, well-written romance that addresses a serious subject. Lorin Grace wrote in a manner that gave sexual assault the seriousness due it without any graphic details, and managed to do so in a heartwarming romance. I really liked the main characters, Zoe and Nick. They both had great friendships that added so much to the story. The plot has twists and turns and moves at a good pace. The setting is New York City. I would definitely read more from this author and highly recommend this book to clean romance readers and to Christian fiction/romance readers. I received an ARC. I chose to write a review and share my opinion of this outstanding story.
