Alec: I shared my deepest secret with Lumen, hoping things will be better between us. But I can’t catch a break. My life blows up again when my daughter goes missing. Lumen: To say all hell broke loose is an understatement. When Alec’s daughter went missing, so did Soleil, the girl I mentor in foster care. It stung when Alec said finding his daughter is more important than some random runaway. … runaway. But that’s just one more person telling me I don’t matter.
With people they love in danger, Lumen and Alec must decide where their loyalties lie and hope for a future together.
Don’t miss Mending Fate, the final book in The Scottish Billionaire, M. S. Parker’s latest romance series.

Priorities
Very good end for this series, even if I found sometimes that the forgiveness of actions arrived quickly and that the justifications of Lumen did not have place to be: she shows empathy when Alec is centered on his personal situation.
After their last plan, once Alec understood, recognized and explained to Lumen his dyslexia, he and Lumen are closer. However, when the problems affect Evie and Soleil, their relationship is again severely shaken.
This part discusses abuses, but it remains great to read.

Finale
So, we’ve been on Alec’s journey for a while now. Has he matured and grown?
Not so much. He pulls a D move on Lunen when his daughter goes missing. We just had all the drama with his baby mama. Now, he’s pulling a D move and not treating Lunen with respect.
Will he finally man up?
Mending Fate: The Scottish Billionaire Series by M.S. Parker. Alex and Lumen are back with plenty of action and suspense in this book at the of the Scottish Billionaire series. Things were going so well with this couple and then BAM! Here comes the drama and boy is there a lot. Will this one have a HEA? We all hope so, do you have it in you to find out? I certainly hope so. I would recommend this book, series, and author to others. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
So glad to read the final book in Alec and Lumen’s story. It starts right after book 2 with Alec and Lumen trying to figure things out. However, it all goes bad when both Evanne and Soliel go missing on the same day. Alec is furious when Lumen in his mind places a higher priority on finding a missing runaway and not his daughter. As Alec searches for his daughter, Lumen spends her days looking for Soliel who she fears may be in real danger whereas Evanne was taken by her mother, Keli who she knows wouldn’t hurt her. As always Lumen has the love and support of Mai and Hobb while she struggles not to fall apart. Will Alec find his daughter and how will Lumen react when she learns what happened to Soliel? Will Alec and Lumen ever find their way to a HEA? Hoping Alec’s brothers get their own stories!
Third and final book to this series brings Alec and Lumen’s story to an end. What a love story it has been too. You will continue to set on the edge of your seat as Keli causes even more trouble. Alec does not understand Lumen’s need to be there for Soleil, but two of his brothers do and they call him on it for being so self centered. Their relationship has more ups, downs, twists, and turns than imaginable. You will wonder if they will be able to come back after each disagreement. Do not miss the conclusion of this action packed series as there are lots more things to happen.

What a heart felt story when Alex mccrea tells his daughter evenna has dyslexia ,that he was wrong not his teacher/ lover lumen. when evenna is taken by her mom are missing and lumen his searching for soleil their relationship is in jeopardy. 10 stars for so much great writing .
So Alec and Lumen now have two children missing. One, taken by a loving mother the other in serious danger from bad choices. Alec seems to think his own child should be centre of attention, and Lumen’s worried are not to be entertained. I did find Alec to be incredibly selfish at times, unforgiving to others and their needs. Lumen cared deeply for him, so allowed him to continue with this behaviour and allowing him to pull himself together and get the help he needed. I don’t think l would be bothered except for the delicious Scottish brogue Alec used in the depths of passion.

This book is the final one concentrating on Lumen and Alec’s relationship and it’s superbly written. So much goes on in this book, a lot of drama and emotion. The characters are fantastically written. I suggest reading this series in order otherwise you are going to miss out on some superb books, but you may not fully follow and understand the journey these characters have been on.

In this last book, Lumen and Alec are going in different directions due to circumstances out of their control happening to their kiddos (well, Soleil technically isn’t Lumen’s child, but she’s watching over her). Due to miscommunication and their screwed up upbringings and past, Alec and Lumen are torn apart. At the end, they both see each other’s side of things and finally come back together. I really enjoyed the whole series and am sad to see it end!

The final book to the series rounds up Alec and Lumen’s story. It’s an intense read with strong characters and an interesting story line. It’s well written with detailed scenes. Another great book that had me glued to the pages. I loved and would highly recommend this book.

Most of book 3 had Alec and Lumen rather disconnected as Alec worries about Evanne and Lumen worried about Soleil. It was aldo these two nerd that brought Eoin out of his depression and brought him back into the family,
Even when he makes mistakes, I still adored Alec. He tried to do right by everyone but he own personality quirks made it hard for him to see others’ perspective. Lumen wasn’t entirely without fault and I think the author was a little too forgiving about her role in their misunderstandings, but it was always interesting to watch them try to find their way.
There are so many in Alec’s family, I can’t help but wonder whose story will be next in the Scottish Billionaires. I would love it to be Eoin, but I don’t think he is a billionaire.

Fantastic conclusion to Lumen and Alec
When I first started reading this series, I was very reluctant to read more but I’m so happy to have persevered with it as it was a really good story. This book seemed to suck me in more than the others did but I think it had more to do with the fact that Alec and Lumen both find out the same day that the respective people they care about had gone missing. Alec is trying to find his daughter and Lumen is focused on finding a foster sister who’s disappeared However, it leads to a rift between the couple and their respective journeys back to the other
I’m definitely hoping for more in this series as I’d like to know more about Eoin and the others I received an advanced copy via Booksprout and I voluntarily leave my honest review
Alec and Lumen story continues with the action packed read. When both of them are going thru something terrible at the same time, I’m not sure if I want to hate or love Alec. I loved this series and you definitely don’t wanna miss this read.
The finally of Alec and Lumen’s story continue with more drama and suspense than I was expecting. I got to see more of Lumen’s character that breaks you heart and makes her a stronger person. Throughout their journey I see the growth that takes them closer to finding a HEA. A great ending to their wild ride of a romance that didn’t disappoint.
I loved the series and the 3rd book In it. It was fill with so much drama and suspense. Lumen goes through so much throughout the story that it pulls at your heart. Alec has so many things that he has to deal with that you see another side to him. They both grow greatly throughout the story. It is extremely well written and the characters were fantastic. This is Book 3 of The Scottish Billionaire Series
This is the final continuing story of Alec & Lumen. We were left in a type of cliffhanger at the end of Book 2. It continues on with each one of them having to deal with a big issue themselves at the same time. They each have a lot to learn about relationships, especially Alec. Lumen asks her best friend and her boyfriend with help with her issue, vowing to expose the man. It happens that that Alec and his brothers get involved, too. Alec and his brothers help him with his own issue first. This is a well written book with lots of issues and lots of love. I loved the whole series, from beginning to end. Couldn’t put each book down when I read it. I am looking forward to more Scottish billionaire books.
