Alanna once lost everything – her family, her home, and her humanity. The journey has been far from easy, but she refused to give up. And now that she’s gained new friends and family, she’s not ready to lose them all for a second time. Warning: this series contains profanity, dark themes, sexual tones, and violence. Slow burn romance, kicka heroine, and enemies to lovers tropes. This is not a … and enemies to lovers tropes. This is not a standalone and ends in a cliffhanger.

Hummmmm…..OK This was just an OK ending for me. I felt it was rushed, it wasn’t as satisfying as I would have liked. Yes, there is probably more to see from Alanna and Malik within the Talnarin Kingdom, but I’m not sure if I want to know any more.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Alanna learns more about herself. I loved Alanna and Malik and the interaction. The growth and the relationship with them is just wonderful. This is the final installation and it was a wonderful ride. There were twists and turns and learning and growth with the characters. I am glad she got her happily ever after and maybe more? Loved it.

I think this was a fitting ending for Alanna and Malik. Alanna has put in the work to develop the powers she has. She also learns some surprises on the way. Some are good and some aren’t. With Malik by het side, they learn of those they can trust and those they can’t. This was a crazy journey, but it was nice to see Alanna found her place at last.
What a ride it’s been for this series, especially our heroine, Alanna. She has grown and learned so much since book 1. She has really come into her own. She and Malik finally get some answers and yet they are left with many questions as well. Nothing is as it seems but at least they know what they are up against and hopefully they’ll have more help now to combat the problem.
The only reason it’s not 5 stars was that I felt everything at the end was kind of rushed. Also, there were things that were introduced that felt off since in a way this is kind of the end of the series for Alanna and Malik. Of course, they will still be part of the future books but I believe the author will be moving directions from the Talnarin kingdom to the other kingdoms in this universe. Not a biggie since it means we will still get to see them in future books. Despite this, I definitely can’t wait to see what the author has in store for us!
A great end to a story
All of Alana and Malik’s struggles, adventures, heartaches and loves come to cumulation in this last book. She’s finally is happy! I would recommend this book. I would suggest reading the series in order so you can follow the whole story from start to finish. It’s a really good ending to an awesome series.
I seriously have loved this series about Malik and Alanna. Alanna has been thru so much in her life and I was so happy she finally gets her HEA! And the author made sure to leave the story open towards the end so there is a possibility of more to come! I really enjoyed how everything FINALLY (lol) comes together! You get answers to so many questions. But like I said, there are things left open and you dont get all the answers which is why I think there will be more! If you loved the other books don’t hesitate to get this one! And if you haven’t read the others yet and like fantasy with a bunch of action you need to jump on this series! Highly Recommend!
