“You couldn’t ask for a finer guide to the future — or the past — than Doug Molitor.” — Larry Gelbart (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, M*A*S*H, Tootsie)In this fast-paced, thrilling journey through time, archaeologist David Preston comes into possession of a baseball supposedly signed by the legendary Ty Cobb in 1908, thanks to Ariyl Moro and her mysterious companion, Jon … Jon Ludlo. Except the ball tests out to be an impossible paradox. It was signed with a ballpoint pen (not invented until 1938) using ink that’s several centuries older. But then, Ariyl and Ludlo aren’t who they claim to be either.
Ariyl, a voluptuous 6-foot-3 beauty, turns out to be a tourist from a 22nd century paradise where time travel is the latest craze. Unbeknownst to her, however, her traveling companion, Ludlo, is a psychopath whose thefts are starting to alter history. In a world were even small changes in the timeline can cause catastrophic consequences, Ludlo’s actions may completely destroy the future.
To stop Ludlo, David and Ariyl must solve a mystery involving Bronze Age swordsmen, modern-day Nazis, a steampunk world, Albert Einstein, some highly skeptical Founding Fathers, and a Golden Age Hollywood where the murder of a beloved movie star will spell doom for civilization.
Sci-fi meets romantic comedy…with sword-swinging adventure!

I had no idea what to expect from the beginning of the book. It was a fun read with lots of good historic detail and plot twists.
If you ever wanted to travel back in time, read this book and you will find adventures abound. You just might have conversations with people you have heard about. Extremely witty with cleverness shown on almost every page. It truly is an entertaining book.
Very good read
Seemed only very slightly disjointed, but a wonderful read. The characters didn’t grab me as much as I expected they would otherwise I would have given 5 stars instead of 4. Am still considering purchasing the follow on novels (but so many other books to read first.
it was way too slick for the book, like a pro blowing off steam: the characters weren’t up to the writing skills
good read.
Should have known by the cover it wasn’t gonna be my kind of book. Not to say other people won’t get a kick out of the story. Sorry.
While I enjoyed reading the book, I came back many times to the whole time travel, two people at time only, for recreation, can’t change the past premise. The whole story was about actions that would change the timeline and at no time was there a consequence. It didn’t ring true to the premise. With that said, it was entertaining. As my husband always says, if it wasn’t for that one thing, it was good.
Entertaining
entertaining time travel story. i was hesitant to read it after viewing the cover, but tried it anyway. the writing was somewhat clunky and seemed like the writer is definitely still learning to write. that said, there was still enough creativity and thought-provoking issues that made it worth reading. i feel like this writer has a lot to offer, given more experience and perhaps guidance from other authors in order to grow.
Fun time traveling story with a few original twists.
Did not care for this story
Memoirs of a Time Traveler was a witty story about travelers from the future wreaking havoc on out time line. It was enjoyable, and the survivors lived happily ever after (I think).
childish
I couldn’t finish this book.
pretty juvenile.
would be better without cursing!!
Poor characterizations. Plot started well but quickly realized that I just didn’t like the lead character and the female supporting character was simply annoying.
parts were quite fun but the whole magic drawing by sexual attraction was over the top and the spelling out of powers quite confusing. I prefer more resolution, eg a stand alone conclusion as I generally don’t buy or read series.
For some reason ,I had a hard time following the story. I intend to try rereading it.
