Liam Rosehill was the most arrogant man I’d ever met.He might’ve rocked the charts with his band for more than a decade, but rocking my world was a hard no.I needed him to expand my business..He needed me to polish his image. We were about to stage our wedding to get what we both needed. It was purely a business transaction. With a man who made my anger bubble and something else simmer.Liam was my … and something else simmer.
Liam was my enemy. My rival.
There was a fine line between love and hate, and I was determined to stay on only one side of it.
Melted Hearts is an enemies-to-lovers rockstar romance with a sassy successful heroine and a man who would make your Great Aunt Nellie’s hair curl and then beg him to tousle it with his talented fingers.

We are back in the Callaghan-Green world! I love this family and all their friends that are treated like family.
This book is about Sophie, Vanessa’s best friend and a former rockstar named Liam Rosehill. This book takes place 6 months after their initial meeting (that does not go well).
After another chance meeting in Iceland, they both discover they want to buy the same piece of property. How they have to go about getting it is the perfect enemies to lovers, HOT and steamy romance!
One of my favorite things about Annie’s writing is how she is perfectly able to describe the landscapes so that you feel like you are there. Iceland through her eyes was beautiful and made me want to visit!
These books always feel like coming home to me because we always get to hear from and catch up on everyone in the family! I personally love seeing any sighting of Ava and Eli and of course Seph!
This is a stand alone but I always recommend starting at the beginning so that you know who all the players are and how everyone is related to each other. I have read this series at least 3 times and I can’t recommend it enough! Sophie and Liam are the perfect addition to this series!!
Wow, Melted Hearts was absolutely amazing. Liam and Sophie were far from perfect individually and as a couple, but their story was adorable, hot, hilarious and so much more.
I think my favorite part of their story was how neither Sophie or Liam needed someone. They were both fiercely independent and knew what they wanted and went for it. Their relationship worked so well because they didn’t try and change the other or control the other. Letting the other still be just as independent and themselves is such an amazing thing to find and I loved seeing it between Liam and Sophie.
Also, I absolutely love how Annie Dyer makes her precious characters so present and involved in each book. She combines her stories in such an incredible way and I absolutely love it. I started reading these series so long ago and because of how well she writes her characters into each book, it’s like I’ve read them all recently.
Liam is a rock and roll artist who’s retired from performing. Sophie owns a chain of luxury spas. Sophie and Liam start off as enemies, then decide they need to get married in order for their next business venture to happen. Feelings start to get involved; feelings neither of them have ever felt before. Throw in a jealous ex and a car accident and will they have the chance to prove their love to each other?
The Callaghan Green Series is full of hot heroes and feisty heroines. Ms. Dyer writes with such emotion and passion. I can’t wait for the next book!
It was so good to return to the Callaghan world. While Sophie isn’t one of them, she is connected to them. I admit that in previous books her character wasn’t one that caught my attention and had me waiting for her story. However, after starting the book I had to know everything. Sophie and Liam were actually way more alike than they realized. Their chemistry was so hot. A fantastic enemies to lovers book. Hate sex, check. Witty banter, check. A very interesting twist in the epilogue. It was wonderful getting updates on everyone. Seph made several appearances much to my delight. He’s turning into a big boy. It made me want the next one like right now.
The beginning of the book has a lot of characters from the first books so I had to refresh my memory of who was who which resulted in a fun trip down memory lane. Liam is a bit broken but not beyond repair especially with someone like Sophie. I love the chemistry between these 2 and enemies to lovers is one of my most favorite story lines. Loved this addition to the Callaghan Green series!
I absolutely loved this book, and enemies to lovers is one of my most favorite tropes. The sniping, sass and sarcasm made me laugh; and the chemistry between Sophie and Liam doesn’t disappoint. The banter and the bickering lead to some seriously sizzling hot scenes that will leave you fanning your face. I giggled, swooned and fell absolutely in love with them both. As always, Annie Dyer brings such depth to her characters. At the end, you’ll be feeling like you have known them your whole life, and the story is unforgettable. This book is a page turner that you will devour in one sitting, so get comfortable before you open it.
Melted Hearts is the latest book in the Callahan Green Series, and if you are new to this series, then you must read them all. Sophie and Liam are quite the match and are willing to do just about anything, even marry each other to get what they think that they want. Sophie is a self-made success and independent woman who is focused solely on her business. Liam is a sexy rocker who wants to leave the spot light behind and work quietly behind the scenes. Their initial meeting leaves a bad taste in Sophie’s mouth, and when she finds out that Liam stands in the way of her grand ideas, she finds that she is forced to enlist his help in order for both of them to get what they think they want. They never expect to obtain more than they ever thought to ask for, a real chance at love. They are both unprepared to accept their feelings for each other and afraid to open themselves up to the pain that a heartache can bring. It’s a fantastically steamy, lovely and romantic book that really does melt your heart.
Annie hit this one out of the park with Sophie and Liam. Who doesn’t love a little tension, tons of chemistry, sarcastic banter and lots of real life feelings.
The entire Callaghan clan plus most of their friends are brought together for a fun adventure in Iceland to celebrate Max and Victoria where they bump into Liam and draw him into their fold. It’s romantic and real in all of the best ways.
Annie always leave you with the best easter eggs for what is to come and the anticipation is real!!
I love the Callaghan Green series and was so excited to get Sophie’s story. Sophie has been Vanessa best friend for years and she’s a successful business owner as she owns high end spas. She happily went with the Callaghan family on a trip to Iceland, not only to celebrate with the family but to also check out areas where she could open a new spa.
While there she ran into Liam Rosehill, who due to an incident in the past was an enemy. Liam wanted an easier life than that of a rock star and wanted to find a place where he could have a recording studio and be more in the background. The only person standing in his way was Sophie. I loved how they went from having to fake being in a relationship to actually being in one.
I loved catching up with the Callaghan family and loved the chemistry between Sophie & Liam. Plus Liam was a grumpy hero & I loved seeing how he eventually softened & opened up.
Enemies-to-lovers is usually one of my least favourite tropes. I am not keen on manufactured drama to fit within the trope’s confines. One of the main characters is usually OTT and irritate me. But this, THIS book, I really liked.
This was always meant to be a tempestuous love. The push and pull hurt so good. I bought into the fracture, the ocean between them. There was no instalove that happened so quickly at the end to give me a whiplash. The gap was bridged believably. This scored huge points in my book.
Oh, and one day I will stop falling for tall, dark men who are broody and tortured..but today is not that day.
This book has everything! More of the Callaghan-Green family, beautiful far away places (Iceland) and a match made for a business deal! Enemies to lovers and a twist on an office romance on top of bringing you back to the world of the Callaghan-Green family, this book delivers so much it’s hard to put it down! Liam and Sophie have a rocky start, and only one thing is going to get them to be nice to each other. A business deal of sorts, a mutual understanding and a common attraction to each other and you have a recipe for yet another one of Annie Dyer’s great books! I loved seeing everyone back in the book again, it felt like I haven’t been far from this family!
Omg! Sophie and Liam are just everything!!!! These two are on fire!!
I always love diving back into the Callaghan-Green’s world as it feels like you are catching up with friends you haven’t seen for a while.
Sophie is Vanessa’s from Engagement Rates best friend. Very successful business woman but not as much lucky in her personal life.
Liam, or Leif Rossi as he is know to his fans, now retired rockstar, looking for a more low key life.
Sophie and Liam both crossed paths once before and then they both end up being in Iceland at the same time, Sophie for Victoria’s hen do and Liam who is escaping to Iceland to regroup after announcing his retirement.
So what happens when they are both interested in the same property and both hit a snag when the owner has some strict rules about who she will sell it too? Well you will have to read it to find out!
I loved Sophie and Liam and their story draws you in the minute you start reading and the fact that Melted Hearts has lots of Seph (I need his book) is always an extra bonus for me!
Loved the introduction of the Green cousins and I can’t wait to see how their stories( wishful thinking here) unfold.
Huge 5 stars from me!
Each book from the Callaghan-Green series is better than the preceding one. Melted Hearts is now my favorite one of the series. It has everything I look for in a romance book. Despite the billions of romance novels, it’s always a wonder that some authors can create a different story. Liam is nothing like the rock star I found in other books or that I know about. Yet he felt real. Sophie is my preferred kind of heroine, strong, independent. Although this book is part of a series, it can totally be read as a standalone, but I’m sure that just like me, once you’ve read it, you’ll want to know about the Callaghans. I relish following them book after book and I’m already sad that there are only 2 books left in the series…
This is one of my favorite series and Sophie and Liam were wonderful and their road to HEA was fantastic fun to read!
I was looking forward to reading Sophie story and it did not disappoint at all. I devoured every word. I couldn’t put it down. I loved how their story and feelings unfolded. I even loved how stupid and blind they were to each others feelings. I was so happy with the glimpses of previous characters as well. I absolutely loved it. I can’t recommend this enough.
“You didn’t belong anywhere and nobody belonged to you.”
Liam and Sophie are not friends, they’re enemies locked in mortal combat and they won’t stop until one of them gives in!
Annie Dyer has written one of my favourite kinds of romance in Melted Hearts with all the best tropes included in one story. Fake marriage, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, even a little voyeuristic sexy time make Melted Hearts one of my favourite books so far this year!
We get more time with the Callaghan family (especially Seph!!), fun family text messages, and both characters taking the time to really look deeply into themselves and see what they want their end game to look like.
5 rockin s for Liam and Sophie, with an ending I never saw coming! If enemies to lovers, with a fake marriage thrown in, is your jam you’ll LOVE Melted Hearts!
Sophie and Liam – I am surprised that the heat coming out of their story didn’t melt Iceland with their enemies to lovers story. Sophie is a luxury spa owner with a kind heart, and Liam is a retired rockstar trying to hide out from the world. When they both become interested in purchasing a property, sparks fly when they learn that the owner is only willing to sell it to a married couple. While battling each other, they reach a compromise to “fake” a relationship in order to buy and share/split the property for their respective purposes only to have the relationship turn into the real thing (to the delight of an unsuspected matchmaker)! I loved their story, and having the Callaghan crew along for the ride made it that much more enjoyable. This can be read as a stand-alone, but you’re likely going to want to devour the rest of the books in this series due to the humor and outstanding relationships that the characters have. As always, well done Ms. Dyer!!
Be warned Annie Dyer will not only melt your heart but your panties too, with another amazingly fabulous read from the Callaghan Green series. This is Enemies to Lovers which is my favourite genre and this is definitely by far my favourite Enemies to Lovers romance. I loved the chemistry between Liam and Sophie. It was off the charts, in fact it was damn near nuclear. Plenty of heat, plenty of drama and I love the backdrop of Iceland as the story setting. It was great catching up with the gang and I am so looking forward to Seph’s book… thinking it might have to do with the new law firm partner. Someone to knock him off his pedestal. Also keen for look more of Lainey in Severton.
Bring it Annie.
I have loved the Callahan series and this story is another great one. Sophie is a successful business owner and is fine on her own and Liam is a former rockstar that is her enemy due to a past incident. When they decide on a fake relationship to further their careers it soon turns to something more. I loved the banter and the characters themselves. Great writing and a wonderful story. Loved every moment.
After meeting Sophie quiet a few times in previous books as she is Vanessa’s best friend it was great to see her finally get her own book and wow did it sizzle!! While in Iceland for Victoria’s hens party things go sideways for Sophie she is now fake engaged to a man she despises all just because a crazy old lady wont let either her or Liam buy a location for her business and his studio unless they are getting married. This leads to plenty of laughs, doubts, lies, sexy times and some surprises you don’t see coming.
Annie is one of those authors that as soon as i see she has a new book, i click because i know its going to be great and worth the read, and once again it was. This book just sucked me in from the moment i started, i couldnt put it down.
We meet/get to know Sophie in the previous books, so it was good to get to know her better and more in depth. I loved Sophie and Liam’s relationship, it was natural and felt real, it wasnt they meet and bam suddenly together, instead it was what happens to some, if not most, of us they meet and dont like each other and like to banter and argue with each other, but they needed each other more then they realised or wanted to admit. It interesting see and watch them work through their own issues and their issues together
Another great book by Annie, i caaaannnnnt wait for the next one!
