Liam Rosehill was the most arrogant man I’d ever met.He might’ve rocked the charts with his band for more than a decade, but rocking my world was a hard no.I needed him to expand my business..He needed me to polish his image. We were about to stage our wedding to get what we both needed. It was purely a business transaction. With a man who made my anger bubble and something else simmer.Liam was my … and something else simmer.
Liam was my enemy. My rival.
There was a fine line between love and hate, and I was determined to stay on only one side of it.
Melted Hearts is an enemies-to-lovers rockstar romance with a sassy successful heroine and a man who would make your Great Aunt Nellie’s hair curl and then beg him to tousle it with his talented fingers.

Sophie and Liam are a fantastic pair. Sophie is a friend of the family and we have seen her in past books. Liam is a rockstar who is taking a break from the limelight.
Due to a past situation they are not friends. I loved the banter and despite them not liking one another they have amazing chemistry.
The way they got together is unique and fresh.
I loved catching up with all our past couples. Seph has a big part in this book and he’s always a favorite!
Annie’s book just keep getting better and better. This Callaghan Green series she has brought to us is fabulous!
I love every book more than the next and Annie just keeps proving that she is doing what she is meant to do.
Given the times, I’ve had trouble concentrating enough to read. What does one do when a favorite author writes a book in a favorite series? Buckles down to read! And I’m so glad I did. A favorite family & characters (Seph!) are comfortable & highly entertaining! It was great to see Sophie again, and her love interest? Swoon. A grumpy, stubborn rock star that Sophie banters & argues with? Loved it! I also loved the endearing stories of their past and overcoming cynicism for love to prevail. You must read this, no matter if you’re struggling reading or not – it’ll put a smile on your face!
Melted Hearts is amazing! This story is about Sophie, a close friend of the Callaghan’s. Liam is a retired rockstar who met Sophie at party he had at Sophie’s friend’s restaurant a few months back, and they never saw each other again until Ireland. They both need each other to get what they want. Never in their minds had they thought they would fall for each other. I love how Annie Dyer always has her previous characters come out in her new books, so you get updates on your favorite characters. One way or another all her stories combine and I love that!!!

This enemies to lovers story packs plenty of heat. The Callaghan family is present and accounted for. (It is always good to catch up with that crew.) I love how Liam falls for Sophie and how she overcomes her own fears to fall for him. Dual POV . I love that Sophie gets her HEA.
This story will melt your own heart! Everything you love about the Callaghan-Green world is all right here! Former rockstar turned songwriter, Liam and entrepreneur Sophie are enemies enter into a fake relationship for mutual business goals. Being that I absolutely love a fake relationship trope this is right up my alley. Sparks fly with these two! We have all the Callaghan fun as they are around including Seph and his usual sparkling personality! Absolutely a five star read!
Liam and Sophie are amazing characters. This story was everything I needed it to be. It was sweet, it was steamy, it was funny. I loved every minute of it.
Another 5* book any Ms Dyer! I loved everything about this book.
Sophie and Liam’s enemies to lovers story is funny from the start, the banter between the two is never ending!
Whilst on a hen weekend with the Callaghan ladies in Iceland, Sophie bumps into Liam, a man who she tried to help 6 months before and was told to go away in a not very nice way.
The attraction between the two is still there but they hate each other! The problem is they both want the building being sold next to the hotel and spa, Sophie wants it for an upscale spa and Liam wants it for a recording studio! And the lady selling it has one stipulation, she will only sell to a married couple!
So the two come up with a plan, but can they go through with it, and what will the outcome be? Can they both get what they want out of the deal, or will one screw the other over?
I always know that an Annie Dyer book is going to give me all of the feels, and Melted Hearts did not disappoint! I love when you’re in a book world, and you get to see and revisit old favorites, but also have a standalone story about a new couple, even if they’ve been hinted at before. And, I adored this chance to finally get into the nitty gritty of Sophie, and her Liam.
Melted Hearts is about a couple that find out that convenience is only half the battle when fighting for what you want, and, that admitting what you truly want is the greatest battle of all. Both in their mid thirties, having lived a lot of life already, but still knowing there’s a lot of life yet to come, Sophie and Liam are a match made in spa heaven, a constant skirmish of wills, as they represent the trop of enemies to lovers so beautifully, a sundae topped off with marriage of convenience sprinkles.
Liam is at a turning point in his life, and though not everyone is super accepting of it, he still knows that it is what he wants and needs from his life at this stage, and, a new challenge, in a new place, with a new atmosphere, well, it would be great for his creative practices. Sophie is a successful business woman, independent, loyal, and looking to spread her wings a bit, opening a new location for her successful string of spas in a different country. After an initial meeting that didn’t exactly leave them with the best impression of one another, they continuously find themselves bickering, butting heads, supporting each other, laughing, fighting, and making up again.
I adored this story. Not only because of the relatability of the relationships that characters have with one another, but because there’s so much depth and compassion as you’re taken on an emotional rollercoaster ride of a journey. Sophie’s sass made me smile, Liam’s wit made me smirk. They’re combustible together, even as they don’t know what is for show and what is real any more. That dose of reality, that heady sense of fate intertwined with possibility, with hope even, that there could be more for both of them out there, perhaps even to find it together, well, if everything does work out, it would be magical.
Liam and Sophie are fiery and feisty, and the extraordinary cast of secondary characters, legendary chat conversations amongst the Callaghan clan and all, well, it just made this story even more perfect! So, what are you waiting for? This book is best enjoyed with a glass of bubbly, and perhaps in a hot tub. Once you read the book, you’ll understand why!
Annie Dyer brings us back to her Callaghan Green world with Melted Hearts!
I thoroughly enjoyed Sophie and Liam’s story. They start out as enemies. However, their views begin to change when forced to spend time together because they both want to purchase a property. They move from enemies to faking a relationship, and it was fun to see that attraction and relationship turn real.
I think the author’s writing gets better and better with each book. There are a number of appearances by the Callaghans which I enjoyed, and I am looking forward to seeing what book will come next.
Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.
Annie Dyer has a very unique writing style that makes my heart sing and ache every single time. Melted Hearts was no exception. This contemporary romance brings all the swoon, heat and intensity that I just love way too much.
I haven’t yet read any story by Annie Dyer that is similar to any previous story. And that’s an achievement. She brings fresh characters with their special qualities. She even brings new location! Take Melted Hearts for example. Sophie is a kickass woman. She has made a name for herself and owns an international spa chain that is extremely successful. She is in her thirties. She is mature. She is independent. She has this sexy no nonsense attitude. She is strong. She is determined and always craves for betterment. She uses wit and sarcasm as an armour. But she is also scared of getting hurt. She is insecure about her feelings. She is unsure of going out of her comfort zone and invest in relationship. All that scream REAL. Yes she is very relatable and loving and inspiring character. And I love her.
On the other hand we have Liam Rosehill, ex Rockstar on self imposed exile. He had a broken upbringing but that didn’t turn him into a stereotypical angry twisted or dark bad boy musician. He is pretty much well adjusted. But he is tired of fame and the race associated with it. He is on a self discovery kind of trip in Reykjavik, Iceland. And in middle of volcanoes, northern lights and hot pools he meets Sophie again. She is on a hen party trip with Callaghan family. Their first encounter was a bad one. But now they have to get on board and even stage a fake marriage to get ownership of the same building they both want. They cannot tolerate each other. Because Liam behaves like an entitled, arrogant and infuriating rockstar. And Sophie behaves like a cold hearted bitter businesswoman. But while acting, this enemies to lover vibe gradually becomes a different kind. And wow I loved the transformation process. They have electrifying chemistry from the beginning. But the heart’s connection grew at a tortuous sweet pace. And I loved the slow burn. The banter was hilarious and full of sinful heat. The romance was dreamy and magical. And I wanted more and more.
Melted Hearts by Annie Dyer was an incredible journey! I loved the chemistry. I absolutely adored the characters. And the writing was just brilliant!
Received ARC for honest review
I love being back with the Callaghan Green’s and friends! I just adore all the characters. Sophie is a really cool chic who I liked getting to know more. I wasn’t sure about Liam. It took me a bit longer with him. I know it’s an enemies to lovers but I felt a slow burn with them that really drew me in. I have such a crush on Seph and loved how we got some Callaghan family group texting! Always one of my favorite parts in this series. What a great book!
This book melted MY heart. I’m fairly new to the Callaghan gang I’m not up on all the history of this family. That being said I wasn’t lost when reading this wonderful book. Yes, there are a lot of characters, yes there is a lot going on, yes, I am going to read the back catalogue of this wonderful family the moment I can. Never fear though this is a standalone. Although I think once you read it like me you’ll want to go check out the other books in this series.
This is an enemies to lovers story but don’t expect instant love cause that’s not happening. Embers are burning and all the while the flames are being slowly fanned . They are being fanned by the other characters, by unexpected sources, and unbeknownst to themselves they are also unwittingly fanning them.
Liam and Sophie come from different backgrounds but their lives haven’t been easy. There’s a saying tough times don’t last but tough people do. These two are the poster children for that. They both have successful careers but they earned it. They consistently butt heads. One of the major aspects of this story that got to me is how we learn preconceived ideas aren’t always accurate. Their journey is well worth reading. What you will get is terrific banter, a unique story, off the charts chemistry, and some smiles and maybe a few tears.
Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Liam and Sophie along with all the other characters in this story. They may have been in Iceland but they melted my butter along with my heart!
Go back into the Callaghan-Green world with a fake relationship between enemies? Yes Please! I adore this series with the family texts, constant ribbing among the siblings, lover’s squabbles, and now some new settings. Rocker Liam and successful entrepreneur Sophie are at each other’s throats from the get go and had me worried they would burn up with all those sparks flying. And boy did they! Besides more insight into Max and Victoria’s relationship, my favorite couple, we’re introduced to new cousins and several Seph shenanigans. Another exceptional addition to this family series.
I absolutely love this series and I was so, so excited to get Sophie’s story!!
Sophie is a successful businesswoman, great friend and all around tough cookie. When she decides to expand her spas into Iceland she finds herself matching wits with one man she can not stand: Liam. Liam took a big step back from his very successful, very public career as a rockstar to work behind the scenes. When he finds the perfect location to move his operation, one woman stands in his way: Sophie. Forced to act like they are madly in love, they soon find it’s way too easy to pretend and their explosive chemistry won’t be denied.
Omg! I love fake relationships and I love grumpy heros who find themselves falling hard and Melted Hearts gave me both! I also loved watching Sophie finally meet her match. Plus we get the whole Callaghan family here which is always super entertaining. Definitely a must read!!!
This book is the ultimate enemies to lovers romance. It’s Sophie and Liam’s story. She’s a spa owner and he’s a rockstar. It turns out they both want something, but in order to get it have to play nice to each other. I don’t want to give the story away, so I can’t say much more. However, I can tell you the descriptions of the places, the sights, made me feel like I was there enjoying such a beautiful place and now Iceland is on my bucket list of places to visit. Also, loved the fact all the Callaghans appear in this story! It’s an awesome book, deserves 5+ stars!
Melted Hearts is the story of Sophie, businesswoman extraordinaire and a secondary character in previous Callaghan Green books, and Liam, retired rockstar. Their first encounter was less than promising; their second leads to an unexpected engagement and revelations for both of them.
The story is, at heart, two strong characters who slowly come to realise that they’re not enemies, and not faking, if they can just get past their own issues. But as ever with this series, there’s a strong supporting cast of both previous characters (who I loved seeing again) and new ones (who I hope to see more of in future books…?) and plenty of humour, heart and of course heat! It’s fab to be back in the Callaghan Green world and perfectly written escapism for these times.
