Paige is pulled into another murder but this time her sister in law is involved. Love to read about all these likeable characters in the lovely town of Comfort Cove. Great series. Cannot wait to read more by this author

Good overall but lacking in humor and character development
This is the 3rd book I’ve read written by Paula Lester; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Meatball, Mistletoe, and Murder is a wonderful addition to the series. Paige finds herself facing changes. These changes are surprising but yet, good surprises. The mystery to be solved has a member of the coven in the cross hairs of the police, but the adventure that Paige embarks upon are really enjoyable.

A murder, a love possibly leaving, ghosts and a talking cat. Just another normal day in the life of a witch! Add being struck by lightning and you have a great read with wonderful characters!

” Meatballs, Mistletoe and Murder- Beachside Books Magical Cozy Mystery Book 5) “ by Paula Lester is an excellent Christmas tale …And although it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Comfort Cove…NOT everything is sooo merry! NOT with a murderer on the loose …NOT without Paige’s detective brother on the case due to a conflict of interest…as Sarah is the prime suspect and NOT with Paige’s boyfriend Marco about to be sent back to Italy …due to an expired VISA…Can Paige solve the case ….and NOT use her powers…and find the murderer so Sarah does NOT spend Christmas in jail…Hmmm…perhaps it is NOT looking like Christmas at all in Comfort Cove…NOT without a holiday miracle!! Much enjoyed and Highly Recommended. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Copy of this book
Paige and Marco have turned their relationship from friends to more. Glitch now is that Marco’s visa is due to expire and he will have to go back. He wants Paige to go with him. Paige likes Portofino. Does she want to go back and leave what she has started here?
While getting her hair done by Sarah, there is an issue between two other stylists there. Next there is a murder in the shop and Sarah looks guilty. Her husband and Page’s brother cannot investigated due to conflict of interest. So you know what happens next.
However, not what we all thought. Surprises along the way that I did not see coming. Even surprises at the end. Will need next book to see how that will work out.
Loved see more interaction between Paige and her brother.
Wonderful fun read. Can be read in a day, also by itself but might want to go back and see the character development.
This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.
This book was amazing and interesting at the same time. The story pulls you into the book. The book has a lot of twists and turns. The cover art is beautiful. The author is new to me
This one got me…so not who I was expecting! The twists added a nice touch. I’m really enjoying this series. Can’t wait to see what’s to come!
Murder and Visas
I have read just about every book in this series, if not all of them. I enjoyed this trip back to the Cove. Paige has got a lot going on this time, that’s for sure. Issues with Marco and his staying in Texas are coming to a head with his visa about to expire. And of course, this being a cozy mystery, there has to be a murder! This time, it takes place in the hair salon after there have been some complaints that one stylist is poaching another’s clients. I have known these characters for a while now and enjoy each story’s glimpse into their lives. One thing that does seem strange to me, though, is the problem with Marco’s visa. It is really clear that the two care for each other, and Marco really wants to stay here rather than go back to Portofino. It doesn’t seem too early in their relationship to consider making things permanent, which would help solve their problems. They both seem truly in love and respect each other, so why wouldn’t they? Anyway, all in all, I found this to be a fun cozy mystery read.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
This is the fifth book in the Beachside Books Magical Cozy Mystery series and I enjoyed it just as much as the first four. I like seeing the evolution of the characters over time, and this one has them stretching quite a bit. There is plenty of humor to go along with the twisty plot, and the story held my attention to the end. I look forward to number six.

If you are familiar with the series of BEACHSIDE BOOKS, then you know that this is a mildly witchy mystery – where the sleuthing women are witches, but mostly the mysteries are solved mundane. In this story we find Sarah, one of the main characters suspect to a murder when she finds her colleague killed at her workplace. Of course the sleuthing sister-witches and Sarah’s husband try everything to solve the mystery.
A nice cozy mystery, mixed with a little romance. Fun to read and highly entertaining.

This one has a little of everything! A romance, a murder mystery, gossipy ladies, and a bit of magic. Can Paige help her friend and her boyfriend before it’s too late? Enjoy reading!

An enjoyable read and if you haven’t read the previous books in the series no need to worry as this can be read as a stand alone book. The characters and the story line are well written and well developed. A great cozy mystery to curl up with.

Paige is in her sister-in-law’s beauty salon when two of the ladies there argue. The situation looks dire when Sarah finds the body of one of those ladies. Paige will have to find the truth when Sarah is accused. I love the developments in this novel and will certainly read the next book in the series.

Drugs and escort service lead to murder
Paige is trying to decide whether to move back to Italy with Marco when his visa runs out. Sarah, her sister in law is being railroaded for a murder, due to the laziness of a police officer who is about to retire. Due to Paige’s brother being taken off the case, Paige steps up and tries to find the killer. She finds so many things about the deceased that just makes her suspect list longer and longer. Plenty of mystery, hidden dealings that come to light, Aunt Nora sending help Paige’s way to give her more powers and lots more. Very fun mystery, I never guessed the killer. I am ready for the next book, great little series.
