The best pies are made with a lot of love… that. The last thing he needs is a date with a bachelor.
Omega Aaron loves his job teaching at Dellburn Elementary. Knowing he makes a difference in the lives and futures of his students is his calling—or at least it is now. At one time he wanted nothing more than to be a father, his plans crushed when his alpha of four years admitted he never wanted children and never would. When his students tell him about their outdoor time at the community center being limited to just a corner of the pavement, he knows he must do something to help. He might have sworn off dating, but what could one date hurt if it could help the children?
When Travis gives in and bids on the most unusual pie at the fundraiser, he doesn’t expect to win. But he does—and his meat-pie prize becomes a total meat-cute when Aaron sets up a date to learn how to bake the pie…and more than the oven heats up.
Meat Pie Match is a super sweet with knotty heat mm non-shifter mpreg romance featuring a butcher who has the best meat in town, a teacher willing to go above and beyond for his students, a grandfather who isn’t quite willing to share all his baking secrets, a bossy one eared rabbit, and more than a pie in the omega’s oven. Meat Pie is the second installment in season two of the popular Bake Sale Bachelor series. While each book is set in the same world, they can each be read as a standalone, giving you the happy feels.

Aaron is a teacher who loves his job. His only family is his Grandfather (aka Gramps) a bit eccentric but a wonderful person.
Travis is a butcher. He lost his husband to a drunk driver and he is afraid of loving again.
A sweet short gay romance full of good people and animals. I love Gramps, he is a bit crazy, but he is good with Aaron and Travis and made me laugh.
One of the things I like about this book is that the characters are normal people, a teacher and a butcher. A story that is sweet, short and funny.
Meat Pie Match is one of the books in The Bake Sales Bachelors series written by Lorelei M.Hart. I really enjoyed reading this book as well as the others in this series. It was entertaining, sad, and I hated to put it down. I can not wait until I can read more by this author.

I really enjoyed this book. Travis and Aaron are afraid to try at love again. Travis bids on Aaron’s pie at a fund raiser and wins. The more they get together the more they think there might be something between them.
I loved this sweet story of love redemption. Omega Aaron loves teaching his kids. Especially an adorable little guy. Alpha Travis only lives for his son and business. He’s given up on love;however, when a certain Omega walks into his shop his interest is piqued. Will Travis and Aaron make it? Or will the Alpha’s insecurities and outside influences win?

Aaron was asked to participate in a pie /bachelor auction. He is not happy, but he will do it for the cause – a community center playground for the children.
From his grandfather he learns to make a really good pie – and at the auction he is the only man who makes a savoury pie.
Travis, the local butcher, tries the pie and is blown away by the taste. He bids for the pie and gets a date with Aaron. From there it is about allowing feelings to surface and admitting to them.
A lovely story set in an already well-known environment, if you like to read books from Ms. Hart.

This is a story, you want to go on forever. Widowed Travis owns the butcher shop. His husband Brian was mowed down by a drunk driver their second year of school. Aaron, schoolteacher loves his students and any future children he may have, and is recovering from a relationship of 4 years where his Alpha neglected to tell him he didn’t want children. Aaron infrequently visits the butcher shop and gets his peak at his crush Travis. Travis looks forward to seeing his crush, Aaron browse his shop. During an auction, Travis accidently purchases Aaron’s beef and lamb meat pie and a date with Aaron. Desciption of the pie sounds delish! These two sound like the nicest guys ever. They both have baggage, that may be difficult to put down. Is Travis over Brian yet? Can Aaron trust an Alpha again? Very nice story. Well done! Travis tasted the only savory pie in the bake sale and had the winning bid and a date with Aaron.
Widower Travis was the town’s butcher and had not planned on bidding at the Bake Sale as he was not looking for a date but then tasted the only savory pie to have been entered. Aaron had entered a pie as he loved kids and the money was going towards a new playground. He had gotten his Gramps to show him how to make the meat pie that had been Aaron’s favorite as a child but was disappointed to see only a few pieces had been tasted so was shocked when the winning bid was five thousand but even more shocked when he found out that the bidder was the town hottie Travis.

** spoiler alert ** Travis is unsure if he is ready to move on. Aaron loves children and longs for his own. Will they find love in each other? Will they both get what they want?
I loved how while not knowing each other well, they were still acquainted. I didn’t blame either for being scared and did love when Travis finally put everything he was feeling and wanted out there. Good read!
The butcher, the teacher, the pie maker, oh my!
The Bake Sale Bachelors series keeps getting better. You are in for a sweet, and savory, treat. I feel in love with the characters from page one. There is a menagerie, an unlikely friendship, a one-eared bunny, low angst, passion, and mpreg. Oh, and then there’s Gramps. I loved this book!
Travis lost his love too early. But the shy teacher that frequents his butcher shop has his head spinning. He doesn’t expect to win him at the auction, but he has to have him. Aaron is learning to make a savory meat pie from his Gramps because the kids that come to the Center need the playground. He doesn’t expect the sexy butcher he has a crush on to buy his pie. Aaron really doesn’t expect the “date” to be making pies with Gramps. Their chemistry is electric, the conversation easy. Now if Travis and Aaron can let go of their past hurts, HEA will be assured.
Get ready to laugh with Travis and Aaron as a little dog & a one- eared bunny become besties. Hope with them. Love with them. Get. This. Book. Now! You will be glad you did.
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
I really enjoyed reading this delightfully sweet, enjoyable quick-read MM/Mpreg romance with a well-paced, interesting plot. The main characters are delightfully endearing with their reactions to the growing chemistry & amazing emotions between the two of them. There is good support from the secondary characters.
There is: a windowed alpha (Travis Rushton) with some painful memories has no intentions of looking for love again but somehow a male omega (Aaron Lewis) crawls into his heart, a concerned grandfather, a menagerie of pets, mild twists, some drama, humor, friendship, attractions, determination, playfulness, advice, surprises, love, happiness, some steam, contentment & a wonderful happy ending.
Aaron and Travis have been carrying a crush for the other and just a little nudge from fate has them fall hard and fast. Both have lost a relationship that has them holding back. I loved that Aaron’s compassion has him giving Travis time. Gramps was a wonderful side character. Lovely ending.
